The Bella pizza is my favorite thing on the menu here, I never branch out because I love it so much! It's a unique, yummy flavor profile that I can't find anywhere else! I love sitting outside here in the evenings and be sure to check the concert schedule because they can be packed on concert nights!

Great family restaurant on DI. The chicken parm was a generous portion and my favorite bite of the night. I expected a bit more from the pizzas but loved the flavor combinations on the Bella. Service was great and ambiance was welcoming. Patio looked lovely!

Oh my how have I ever not been to Vespa Pizza on Daniel Island?! It's a fabulous spot, with outdoor indoor casual dining. The restaurant is beautiful with amazing cheerful helpful staff. They have a daily Special's menu along with the regular menu. The pizza, salads and appetizers that we had were delicious. All the pizzas are made in house and that includes the beautiful crispy crust baked, in a wood fired oven. Delicious. All the dishes were oozing with flavor & freshness. I absolutely loved it here, so relaxing to sit outside in the shade & enjoy great food. We will definitely return.

Delicious place for lunch. The arugula and beat salad with chicken was awesome! The service was very friendly as well.

I decided to eat at this place after reading reviews of other pizza joints, and this was in walking distance. The reviews had me worried, but again it was the closest walking distance. We ordered the Caprese salad, black and blue salad and that's night special pizza. The caprice he salad came out first and it was just OK. The tomatoes were not fresh and bland, and the mozzarella cheese was kinda stiff. It was definitely bulk bought cheese out of a package. Like many previous reviews, the black and blue salad looked good, but was warm. I don't know what it is with this place serving warm salads. The pizza was good. I definitely ate half of it and took the other half home for lunch the next day. Only downside to the pizza was the center was kinda soggy. It took the staff a little bit to take our drink orders, but she made up with it with her attitude. Very happy and spirited. The outside patio area where we sat, could use a little bit of re-decorating. They have some bar trailer out there that needs to be put up when not in use. I'm sure they use it during large events, but looks trashy when just sitting there, not in use .

I never done a review in my life. Ever. Because I usually never order from places without a well known reputation. I messed up today. Big time. This is the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. Like DO BETTER. Hasn't the owner or chef ever seen a decent Grilled Chicken Caesar pizza pie before? I'm new to this area, but I already know for sure that it has great food. No restaurant should ever be that bad at making food. This restaurant has to be a social experiment to see how bad you can possibly make food without your customers getting upset.

Love the atmosphere, service, and fresh food here. Even before Covid the outdoor patio was our favorite spot here. And both the regular brick oven pizza and the gluten-free options are good here. Meatballs, salads, mussels, and chicken wings are all yummy. But most people are here for the pizza! If you looking for a festive fun Italian joint with options for the gluten-free in your group- give it a try. You're going to be happy.

The green salad was so well balanced with a herby perfect dressing and my daughter and I shared a small to start. We also shared 2 small pizzas that were outstanding! We devoured both the Notorious FIG and the Knockout-the flavors were complex, and the crust was thin, crisp and perfect. Now back at our house we are debating going back for more. Right now. Service was excellent. Those folks are busy! Yet everyone seemed to work seamlessly together and always with a smile. Be good to yourself and go there. Order more than seems reasonable. Don't thank me-thank the wonderful staff and enjoy!

On my most recent visit I arrived early and sat right by the pickup counter so I wouldn't miss my order. I watched my pizza sit on the counter for about 12 minutes without anyone calling a name. Eventually I walked up and asked if it was mine, and sure enough it was. By the time I got it, the pizza had probably been sitting there close to 20 minutes, so it was cold again. When I mentioned it, the employee said they had called my name, which simply isn't true because I was sitting right there the entire time and never heard anything. What makes this even harder to understand is the price. A large pizza there runs about $27, and it's a very thin pizza. At that price you'd expect hot food and at least a little attention to making sure customers actually get their order when it's ready. Cold pizza twice in a row at that price point is disappointing.

Usually we prefer table service, but honestly the bar is the way to go here since you get a front row seat to the pizza making. We ordered a half pepperoni and half sausage pizza. As I saw the beautiful pies coming out of the oven they were all getting dressed with fresh parm and basil and I was worried I didn't add that for ours, but after feverishly flaging down our server he reasured me that all the pizzas come with the special treatment at the end (unless otherwise noted). As I calmed my nerves I sipped on some delicious bottle of sweet tea. It was only the slightest bit sweet and so refreshing. Plus we ordered a salad as well. We were concerned about the size of the salad when we saw our neighbors come out, but our server let us know we could get a half Caesar if we preferred. The salad is a must have. I love how they just chop the ends off the romain and add the perfect amount of dressing, crunchy bread crumbs, and loads of cheese. The pizza came out shortly after and it was perfection. If you're looking for thin crust northern style pizza then you will definitely find it here. They also use top notch ingredients making this a pizza one to remember. Surprisingly I enjoyed the sausage even more than the pepperoni. We were stuffed after only eating half the pie so we boxed it up and took some cannoli to go. They did half regular and half strawberries that had local strawberries mixed into the ricotta! We enjoyed all of it so much that we ordered the same items for takeout only a week later. I definitely enjoyed dining in more than takeout, but both are a great option. The online ordering was super easy and even though it was slammed when I arrived, they had my pizza, salad, and cannoli ready to go at the window when I arrived.

I ordered the small Caesar salad which cost $9. It was so small I could count the leaves of romaine and was topped with the cheapest croutons that they apparently picked up quickly at the grocery. So I also ordered the chicken parmesan which was good but they had advertised artichoke in it but no, not one to be found. Now I do not like skimpy on the sauce and there was plenty for the ratio (1 chicken cutlet) and which was good, light , and tasty -not pasty , however, they must have had 1/3 of a cup of linguine at the very most for $23??? Seriously they skimped out on the least expensive items that could make a person satisfied with not only their belly but the price. I started out with the wrong menus. I was given a current menu, but my wife was given a discontinued one. It happened to the family next to us as well. We ordered drinks and an appetizer to begin. The drink, a peach mule, was very short on peach and VERY heavy on ginger beer, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. Our appetizers came and were great. A few times the waitress stopped by and asked how we were doing, which was nice. But that's where it ended. As the table next to us got their appetizers, the same waitress took their dinner order. When we finished our appetizers, she came and cleared away our plates, NEVER asking for our dinner orders. What was the purpose of replacing our menus, if you're not going to take our order? Meanwhile, the next table was served their dinners. After a few minutes she came back and I asked for our check. She said, "Great", never asking about our meal or our experience. Clearly we weren't going to have dinner here. We left and ate dinner somewhere else! This was our first and last visit to Ristorante LIDI, I would never return. I spent $45, plus an hour of our time, for 2 drinks and 2 appetizers, to have to go elsewhere for a meal. I don't believe that's the way its done in Italy. What a waste.
