I've given this place three opportunities to impress me and I can't come up with much. I had high hopes that it would be something I couldn't live without, but frankly three times is enough. The coffee drinks are luke warm EVERY TIME. I mean, literally every time. When I order a "hot" coffee, that's what I expect but it's never handed to me that way. While it's tasty, it's a let down. The breakfast sandwich was decent but not worth $8 or $9. It's just what you see in the picture: brioche, cheddar, two semi-burnt pieces of bacon and egg. It was anticlimactic to say the least. Best neighborhood coffee spot on this side of town! Always consistent with their drinks and food, the servers always have a smile and ready to take your order. My favorite time of day to go is early in the morning and after 1p in the afternoon. The WiFi is good for those who like to work on your computer. I really like the merchandise, plants, and art around the shop as well. There are a lot of locals that come here. Parking is tricky sometimes. Since moving to Vegas, we've been using Vesta beans for our coffees as their quality has been our top favorites. My boyfriend makes the coffee in our household, and I'm fortunate enough to wake up to a latte that's made with their beans. In my opinion, Vesta has one of the best coffee beans because their roast is on point and the flavor profile is well rounded. My personal favorite roasts are Goosebump (which has a graham cracker note), Goddess (hints of strawberry, and Minor Jimenez (great for espressos). I've also had their almond croissants and love how it comes with hints of lemon and cardamon as they add dimension to almond paste. I really wanted to love Vesta! But alas, it was just ok for me. The shop is super cute and conveniently located. Plenty of parking and seating. Bathroom was clean. Employees were friendly. Pricing was fair. BUT- and this is a big but for me these days. The lack of sugar-free options was just heartbreaking. I'm preparing for a competition, so my choices are limited these days. They had no sugar free syrups, and the only non-sugar sweeteners they had were stevia and honey. I almost cried. My americano with stevia was fine, I just wanted to feel at least a little fancy with a sugar free syrup. Oh well. My friend got the Hawaiian sandwich (spam, egg, cheese). It was a gooey mess, but she said overall it was good, she just would have preferred the egg not to have been runny. Her drink was something with macadamia, I can't remember the name. Crushingly soulless. It's closer to a WeWork than a coffee shop. Everything is minimal- from the decor, to the size of the drinks, to the warmth of staff. Pricing is...in-line with what you'd expect. A bit pricey for slightly above average offerings. The drink portions, however, are a joke. Think of the drink you'd get with a kids meal: it's that. I ordered the almond croissant which was tasty, however between my croissant & cold brew I felt zero incentive to actually stay. The chairs are uncomfortable and interacting with the staff felt like interrupting a teenager from their phone. One star for cleanliness. One star for exterior aesthetic. 100/10 will come back! Woke up extra late but wanted brunch. Most places close around 2-3 but they closed around 4 that day. To our surprise they had a nice drive thru which was super convenient. Service was also great and the ladies who helped us were very sweet :) For the drinks, i got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk which was great. espresso was delicious and not watered down. my partner got the Desert Rose tea with rose and cardamom syrup, he wasn't the biggest fan but i loved it! For food i got the Salmon Toast and it was perfect, i ate it right up. super flavorful, salmon was fresh and i loved the fried capers! the bread was the perfect mixture of crispy and soft. My partner got the Ham and Cheese Croissant and it was AMAZING. The cheese was bubbly and the ham was roasted to a perfect crisp, and still moist, it almost tasted like a parmesan or asiago bagel. the croissant was buttery and perfectly flaky, it was amazing! I can confidently say, they have the BEST breakfast food EVER! The milk and honey toast and the Hawaiian Benedict sandwich are both phenomenal! At this one, you'll find ample seating, a drive-thru window, and the same great menu and service. Best of all, they open at 5:30am Monday through Friday! This is great news for people who want to support local coffee shops AND who are early birds (they open at 7am on Saturday and Sunday). The staff here is always friendly and efficient and the shop is a bright, open space. My favorite items on the menu are the macadamia-almond latte and the All the Things croissant. As their name states, Vesta roasts their own coffee, making a point to source beans from trusted exporters, importers and sometimes directly from the farmers. Vesta needs no introduction, it's one of the oldest coffee roasters in town. But did you know there's an awesome location on sahara? One of the main reasons I don't go often is the distance from my house but now with a location near my house I go a lot more often. On this trip I got the maple almond latte with is always a good choice, Bu I opted for a brekki sandwich today. The eggs were super fluffy and cooked PERFECTLY. The bread was soft and buttery and the sausage was MOIST. The staff here is always super friendly which is the most important things because I tend to frequent places where the staff is awesome so huge props to them. I have been here a few times, with the most recently being two days ago. It is definitely more minimalistic in decor but there is ample seating inside with some outdoor seating as well. They have a standard coffee menu with some really intriguing seasonal specials, but I'm pretty boring with my coffee. I usually get an oat milk cappuccino or latte from here, which are always good but they only offer the one size. The Hawaiian Benedict from here is one of my favorite breakfast sandwiches and it comes with chips. My boyfriend usually gets the Herb Avo toast or the egg salad sandwich. I will say that ordering food and coffee here can add up, but you definitely get a good amount of food for what you pay. The staff has always been kind and efficient each time I've been here. My friend and I love to try different cafes around town and this one makes our top 10! I'm vegan and I was worried about them not having too many vegan options but the black bean burger is really amazing! If you love matcha then please try the passion fruit matcha soda because you definitely won't regret it. The service was amazing and everyone was incredibly helpful with the menu. Omg! Finally a third wave coffee shop in our area! Love that they have a drive-thru so on my way to work I can swing by! My only "issue" is they sizes! I would like to have an option for a larger drink as this is my breakfast most days and I'd like to have more to sip on as my morning goes. Found this place on Sahara near The Lakes. Down the road from Einstein Bagels. It is a coffee roasters place. Was nice when we visited like a local community coffee place and has breakfast, and lunch. Coffee tastes good and had a few food items like croissants; some sandwich and breakfast items. No potatoes or hash browns with egg dish. Potato chips on the side accompanying the sandwich. It is served on an aluminum plate. The music was a bit loud for me, so had to raise my voice speaking to a friend across the table. Yes, they have parking and also a drive through. Staff is welcoming and polite. read more

I tried the almond macadamia latte. It was good; the coffee was rich and smooth. I requested half-sweet which was a good call as I think the sweetness would have been overpowering otherwise. The black tea is pretty basic, but the presentation was classy. The ambiance is busy. I typically want to go to a Coffee shop because I'm looking for a cozy spot to do computer work or have a conversation with someone. This was not the best spot for that as the music was very loud and it's a large open space that feels a bit sterile. Finally decided to check out Vesta Coffee Roasters while we were in town visiting family. The location is great, very easy to get to. I got a iced hazelnut maple latte, and an almond croissant. I loved that they have for here glasses for iced drinks! Not a lot of places do sadly. The drink was great, the flavor was very subtle but I liked it. The almond croissant was also delicious, nice and flakey. I'm sad we never checked out Vesta before moving away from Vegas, but at least now we'll now to stop by any time we're visiting again. read more

Vesta does the trick. If you're in the area, I'd recommend visiting Vestra Coffee. This new coffee shop has a pretty impressive selection of espresso/coffee and bites to satisfy. I'm always happy to indulge in a cafe's fresh take on a classic item. So when it comes to lattes, I want to find out what flavors Vesta likes to incorporate. Vesta has an in-house cardamom syrup that they recommended to add into my iced latte. I jumped at the opportunity and wasn't disappointed. This is such a fresh but natural pairing and Vesta balances it well. V happy with the end product. Only gripe with the drink is the limitation in sizing and the value for a 12 oz beverage. This isn't uncommon to see for coffee shops but still left me wanting a bit more. As for food, I had to jump on the salmon toast after seeing so many appetizing pictures. The presentation was picturesque but I feel like the flavor was lacking something. Hard to put a finger on exactly. The bread had a satisfactory warm chew, but the salmon and capers lacked the salty, sharper flavor profile I've become used to in other lox dishes that I was still craving. All the same, I'm always happy to indulge in salmon but next time I think I'd explore the menu more. And based on what I saw, there's definitely more that would warrant another visit. So is Vesta worth your time? Absolutely. They work with interesting flavor profiles and have a hearty selection of choices. That aside, it's just an easy and casual place to go to be productive or have a chat. Keep Vesta on your radar, this place has a lot of potential. read more
