I tried Vesuvio pizza for the first time tonight. We ordered a large pizza with onions and peppers and a large salad with blue cheese. The pizza was not edible. The peppers and onions were cut in large chunks. They were not cooked. We tried heating up the pizza but onions were raw and tasted so strong. The salad was leathery. Quick lunch on our way to go Christmas Tree shopping. It was our first time to this newer business. Grabbed a couple of slices, mozzarella sticks and a chicken parm sub. Sorry I didn't get a pic of the slice but they had a bunch of "slice" pies ready. We went with cheese for my son. Heated up quickly and perfectly with a stiff crust, no flop. Sauce was good with nice flavor so that's a win. The sticks came out and they were crispy on the outside either the perfect melt on the inside. Nice side of marinara served with the sticks. My chicken parm sub had tons of cheese and tender diced chicken in the same marinara served on a toasty roll. Definitely would order that again. If you're in a hurry, grab some slices bc the other food is made to order and takes a few minutes. Decent parking lot and clean dining room. I ordered on Slice. I arrived at the pickup time which was a mere 15 minutes later and did not expect it to be ready, but it was. We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta entree, total was $57. The white broccoli pizza is absolutely delicious. The half pepperoni/mushroom, half cheese pizza won my kids' approval. My husband got spaghetti/meatballs, says "pretty good." Pros: good sauce with fresh basil, cons: pasta watery. The place looks great inside, completely redone from when it was Tori G's. Overall, good food for a good value and fast. We just picked up a large Stromboli from Vesuvio's, & we ended up throwing it away. This was the third time we've ordered the large Stromboli (since they opened) from there, and prior to this we have always been super happy with the quality. This one was gross. It was 90% cheese. The wax liner in the bottom of the pizza box was no match for the grease! When the cheese is 1/2" thick, & the meat is barely visible there's a problem. There were no other customers so it can't be blamed on them being busy. Prior to this, it was the best Stromboli in the area. read more

Had supper there. I had linguine and red clam sauce which i love, but, not here. Absolutely no seasoning or flavor. My wife had fettuccine Alfredo she said it was bland and half the fettuccine was stuck together and over cooked. We had to ask for bread and she acted like it was a chore. (Both dishes were supposed to be served with bread) They had no fountain drinks or ice. Had warm soda from a refrigerator that was at about 50 degrees. Once served we never saw the waitress again. I will say they have good pizza, but other food and the service were very poor. We won't be going back for anything except the pizza. read more
