Dr. Donnelly with Boone doing a OFA CAER exam. Dr. Donnelly was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend Dr. Donnelly at Plano, TX

From the receptionist, Brooke, when we first walked in to the veterinary technician, Jessica, that helped us in the room, to Dr. Donnelly himself, everyone made us feel so welcome, we weren't rushed, they took their time and were VERY patient with my big baby who was less than thrilled, they all went above and beyond to accommodate us! I can't recommend them enough they were all so awesome! What a fantastic team!

Took my dachshund to the Veterinary Eye Institute on a referral from our family vet for a chronic eye issue. The place is kinda pricey.... it's an "Institute" that looks like a ski lodge. LOL. However, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and Dr. Eng did a thorough job of diagnosing our doxie's eye problem, taking the time to explain everything that was going on, and coming up with a course of treatment.

Bella, feeling much better after the care she's gotten at VEI!

We were referred here by our vet after our dog Bella starting squinting and rubbing her eyes. The staff here is amazing, and Dr. Warren has been a Godsend. Long story short, our dog is slowly going blind, but thanks to the care she has received here, the process has been slowed, and the distress and discomfort she showed before she was diagnosed has gone away, and she's back to her playful, goofy self. Everyone I have encountered both here and at their Dallas office has been not only extremely professional and competent, but also unbelievably kind and empathetic. When we are there, I feel like Bella is the most important dog on the planet to them. If you are unlucky enough to have a dog with eye issues, I can't recommend them highly enough!

By the time I got him there he was having a 2nd seizure. The entire staff dropped EVERYTHING and triaged him on a table. He was stabilized, given anti seizure IV medication and was 90% back to normal in under 15 minutes. The staff went over and above to care for him and they thoroughly explained two different treatment plans including the costs. We chose a plan and even knocked off a very big ticket item because he responded so well to the meds. They were so professional and caring he fell in love with the entire staff during his visit. He even made the rounds to give all of them thank you kisses. While I hope we never have to visit again, if we do it's such a comfort to find an ER vet that doesn't take advantage and price gouge you in your most vulnerable moments...unlike others I've had the displeasure of visiting in the past.

Although I kept repeating that this is not a foreign body as this is the 3rd time it's happened in the last 6 months! They weren't listening to anything that I said! No compassion. No warmth. No answers! They threw a bill in my face before even discussing a plan! I had to pay in advance for treatments that hadn't been done and didn't even start for about an hour into the visit! Was there for 6+ hours to have everything blamed on how long the radiologist was taking. Personal conversations complaining about clients, vet techs using their phones while patients needed attending to, eating their food next to the triage table! At the end of my 1,500 visit I had more concerns for my kitty than I did before I even walked in the door. When it was come time to be discharged the tech that was assisting us left without letting anyone know what was going on and they just looked really dysfunctional. The doctor didn't even acknowledge us as we walk out. Not even a you're welcome to our thank you! Unprofessional, unorganized, no compassion or care about the clients or patients. I would never recommend this hospital even if it was the last place on earth! Update: Two days later. Called and spoke to Cheyenne about our experience. Felt heard, felt compassion and felt true concern about myself and my kitty. She advised she would call me back. Instead Dr. Hoge called me back and was very apologetic and showed a great deal of concern for our experience. I believe that the team we had this horrific encounter with creates a bad name for this ER and for the veterinary field as a whole. I appreciate the sincere apology I received by management and wanted to add that to my review. They both showed care and compassion and that is what it's all about. If I had walked in the door when they were there I would have had a totally different visit and my kitty would have been taken care of! They are what makes veterinary practice great!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel cared for. The vet tech saw us quickly, and even though the only vet on staff was in the middle of surgery on a dog, they kept us informed and reassured. At 9:00 at night, I completely understand the wait. Both the vet tech and the vet were caring, gracious, and patient. They understood that we were there for a long time and that we were anxious about Willow. The vet spent more time with us than we typically get at Willow's primary care, answering all of our questions, explaining everything clearly, and making sure we felt comfortable with the plan. The clinic itself felt professional and welcoming. I did notice the floors could have been cleaner, but I'll admit I'm overly picky about that. What mattered most was the quality of care, and that was exceptional. Willow is now much better and mobile again, though we're still being careful with her leg. The price is higher than some other places, but the care and compassion we received here were worth every penny. I'm grateful to have a place like this nearby for emergencies.

We used MedVet Frisco's services to help care for our dog Sophie when she was having a medical emergency, and we were really pleased with the level of care she was given. Sadly, Sophie did not make it, but it's really important to recognize how hard MedVet Frisco worked to give our girl a fighting chance. My husband and I are forever grateful to Dr. Tierney and Dr. Triplett who worked in the subsequent days to stabilize her and assess what if anything could be done to heal her. The medical emergency happened unexpectedly. One moment Sophie was on a routine walk, the next; she was having some kind of respiratory attack, like she was hyperventilating. Having just been to our normal vet only 4 days prior; we called them first and described the situation. They immediately referred us to MedVet Frisco because they said she would need to be placed in an oxygen cage, which was not available at their facility. I called MedVet to let them know we were on our way, and based on what I told them about what was happening, they said they would meet us at the car with a gurney. When we arrived in the parking lot, the medical team met us at our car to transfer Sophie to a gurney and rushed her inside to immediately start working on stabilizing her. I was also given paperwork to acknowledge how much of a deposit would need to be taken to get started. From there we were led to a quiet waiting room, and after a while, the doctor was able to give us an update on her condition. She had pneumonia in the right lung and it was spreading to her left. Over the next few days we placed deposits on her care so she could remain in the oxygen cage, and have more tests run to see what was going on, but she was not getting better. We got to visit Sophie in the evenings, but the last day, we knew it was time to say goodbye. You never want to see your pet suffer, and knowing that she could not even breathe outside the oxygen cage, and her quality of life was not getting better, it was time to let her run free. We had all the time we needed to see her on her way, and after she was put to sleep; we were given more time in a private room to hold her and grieve. The choices we made for her cremation were taken care of before she was put to sleep and we were told we would receive an email in a few days to make adjustments if we wanted any changes made. After that, a refund would be issued to us, since we had already made a deposit on that night's overnight stay. After 2 weeks, we were able to pick up Sophie's cremated remains, and bring her back home. The kindness and professionalism of the team at MedVet Frisco will always be remembered. We had hoped for the best and the reality was Sophie was 14 years old. The doctors worked very hard to give us their assessments and what options were available. We felt like they were doing all they could to help our girl while being humane and cognizant of her fragile condition. The care was expensive, but I also have to recognize that they gave her round-the clock care, tests and did what they could to make her last days as comfortable as possible. This gave us peace of mind knowing that she got the best care available- because we know she'd do the same for us. I'm very grateful to MedVet for having excellent doctors and staff that care and are outstanding professionals. Thank you.

She had extensive nerve damage to her face and was not able to swallow any food or react to any touch on the left side of her face. Immediately after finding her, I called MedVet. I brought her in within an hour and a half and she stayed there Monday and Tuesday. I have never felt as comfortable leaving my 16 year old cat at a vet's office as I felt leaving her here. I could see that the staff had true intention of making her comfortable and working her towards recovery. The staff was endearing and prompt every time I called them (multiple times a day) and every time I randomly showed up to spend time with my Olive. The love they had for Olive was obvious. I had never been through anything like this and I would not have been as okay as I was without the staff at this location. They put in an esophageal feeding tube for her due to her being unable to swallow. Putting a 16 year old cat under has its own risks, but they allowed me to come by before the procedure and spend nearly two hours with Olive, alone in a room, before the risky procedure. Dr Triplett was the doctor who performed the procedure and when I went to the Dallas MedVet location to purchase her etube collar, the employees had nothing but praises towards her and her one of her staff workers, Erin. I could not have agreed more with them. They were patient in teaching me exactly how it worked and once again were very patient with me every time I called or emailed them with nonsense following Olives discharge. The staff suggested that even showing signs beginning to swallow could start around 8-12 weeks, but we are 4 weeks later and she is about 90% back to normal. No feeding tube and back to her regular eating habits. Once again, I cannot thank the staff enough at this location for taking care of my Olive and I during an incredibly stressful time.
