This place is just a little bit better than Disneyland if you are trying to find a fun place to go in Anaheim. Oh yes sir it is. Working with Nik and Aiden was one of the best experiences ever. These guys are pros and know their stuff. I really don't know where to start but I have 2008 997.1 911 with very low miles. It's a cab that I just picked up two months ago. I can tell you from experience that I wouldn't trust anyone else. Many people think they can tune or mod. Make power even. Most are rookies and seldom do you find the ones that have it down to a science and hone in on their discipline. I didn't hesitate at all. A++ for all their success and engineering. I like what I see and hear. I'll post some performance charts or whatever else I get. If you have a 911 and wanna have some good clean fun, this is it. VF Engineering is hands down the best for what I needed. I have a 2009 Audi R8 in mint condition. Still running E-Tronic. I contacted Nick a while back and was immediately interested in getting my R8 tuned. Lord knows my car was great but needed the tune nonetheless. I was able to take it same day and get the engine and transmission tuned. Holy hell night and day difference once they were done. Took about an hour 45 in all and man was it worth it. Obviously very professional but more importantly explained what was done. I am definitely considering the supercharger. Price was good and fair for the tune and overall time it took to complete. I usually don't have much to say on reviews but this one's well worth me writing. This has been my dream car for a while. I'm glad that VF has been a part of my experience. Worst service ever. Waited over 3 months can't even get a appointment to the shop for tuning their own product. No email response. "We don't have enough people at the shop" is all I got every time. It's funny that I am only 25min drive from their shop. First bad review ever. VF engineering definitely deserved it. Cheers. read more

I called several times only to be put on hold, parts guy said he is not in sales and would transfer me To someone again on hold. Talked to someone said he would email me the quotes and availability of shop times. I never received an email (and yes I checked my junk file) I waited for another day and nothing. I called back and hit the appropriate button for sales on the phone automated system only to get the parts guy again. He said I don't know anything about it I'll have to transfer you to sales. I waited again on hold for 10 minutes and finally someone from parts tells me I have no idea what you're talking about I don't know who was doing that, so I go over the whole thing what I'm interested in I need to get the prices and to be told they will email me the quote and availability of install shop time. And yet again nothing was ever received I don't know how anybody can get anything done with customer service like this. I contacted another shop who does a tune and suspension and guess what? Within minutes I have A valid quote And shop availability times. read more

Update. They told me they can do Stage 2 for my vehicle, so I went ahead and purchased/installed everything for my vehicle. They then even scheduled me in, and the day before they said sorry we cannot tune your vehicle anymore and have not replied since. Really disappointed and beyond frustrated!! read more

The supercharger installed fairly easily, and works very well. I do have to say, I was disappointed in the tuning part of the install. The instructions say a week turnaround time after I sent my ECU to them, when it actually took two months. I called numerous times, and if Aiden actually answered the call, I would be told (many times) that it would be done the next day, which never seemed to happen. read more

A Supercharger (two weeks installation) should not take over a month. My car has been inoperable this entire time and it has been extremely difficult to get a sense of when they will be able to complete the installation of the supercharger due to the lack of response and excuses. The product itself looks great and is relatively well made, but the customer service brings it down significantly. They promise two weeks, then they commit at the same time with other Customers/clients without pay attention at the promises/words given ! read more

A couple months ago VF Engineering did their Hex Tune on my 2014 R8 V10 with the S-Tronic transmission. All I can say is "WOW!!!" In no way did I anticipate that the HUGE additional power and responsiveness would be THAT good - even on our crappy California 91 octane gas! Before the tune, the car had a little lag when taking off from a start. Now it feels like it INSTANTLY explodes from a standing stop. Amazing. I just got new tires about 3 weeks ago, and they grip very well. Yet I have found that if I'm doing 70mph on the freeway, in sport mode, and I put the pedal to the floor while simultaneously downshifting as much as possible, the tires spin for about one and a half seconds. Unbelievable. Just for the heck of it, I had my car dyno'd over at World Motorsports in Torrance (also a great place). They claim to be the only place in the USA that does their dyno in a wind tunnel. They have a $250,000 fan that recreates the exact wind force the car would encounter at whatever given speed the tires are rotating. They did a dyno a couple days before the Hex Tune and about a week after. There was an unbelievable 58hp difference at all 4 wheels. So that would calculate to be around 64hp increase at the crank, which means that my engine hp went from about 525 to about 590hp. It truly is like an entirely different car. Recently had my 2009 Audi R8 tuned by VF-Engineering and am loving it! Adding both the ECU and TCU tune has really woken up the V8 R-Tronic and makes the car feel much more alive.
