Can't recommend BMPS enough. Dimitri is very straightforward and transparent. He will walk you through exactly what's wrong with the car and will answer any and all questions you might have. He is also VERY thorough and will check all possibilities before recommending a repair. There's nothing worse than paying for a repair and you find out that it didn't fix the issue you were in there for, or find out the fix was much cheaper but they did a more expensive option first. This a two year overdue review. For all BMW enthusiast and all car lovers: this is the best hidden secret in OC. Period. Two years ago took my e46 touring for a heating issue. Demitry and John diagnosed the issue and told me what I needed and didn't. Honest gentlemen to work with. In fact, since then they serviced my e46 for all maintenance and preventative maintenance. Again, no up charge, every part replaced they showed me to prove it needed to done. My e46 had just over 2 years of honest work. Now to my e39 M5: spark plugs, hub conversion, Corsa exhaust, links, bushings, seat twist, etc. took the time to pin the issue and then some. Going from Evos, M3s etc, this shop is legit. What can I say! BMPS literally helped me during one of the toughest times in my life. I was given the most amazing deals beyond what even family mechanics could have given me. I literally met Dimitry and Jonathan today and they could not have provided me and my car a more above and beyond experience. After them squeezing me in right before a busy holiday, they stayed almost 45 min after they closed to make sure my car was safe for me to drive. They refilled my washer fluid and filled the air in my tires, so that I didn't have to later on. They gave me honest quotes that were amazingly priced allowing me to immediately ask them to start working on my car. These guys literally brought our beloved black 1999 E36 convertible back from the dead. After having TWO "German Car Experts" in New York spend over a MONTH each trying unsuccessfully to fix the broken transmission and BOTH gave the car a death sentence, we said a prayer and drove across country anyway, we were moving to LA and had to be there in a week. The car made it to LA, but by the time I handed the keys to BMPS a few months later, thinking the car was scrap metal, the list was: Broken transmission, broken passenger seat, convertible top stuck down and broken rear window, driver side door falling apart, broken fog lights & tail light, brakes & rotors & struts long past due, engine light on, airbag light on, missing grille and various other bits that had fallen off during the cross country drive, plus we had been using it like a pickup since the convertible top broke, roughly loading bicycles into it, so it was filthy and scratched up... When my wife saw the car after Jonathan and Dimitry worked their magic, it took her ten minutes of looking (mostly unsuccessfully) for telltale marks before she would even belief it was actually OUR car. 6 months later and the car continues to run and look like it's brand new. I posted before and after pictures, but they don't do justice - the combination of attention to detail plus an insane knowledge of every aspect of auto repair (they had to SEW with needle and thread to replace the back window!!!) puts these guys light years ahead of any other BMW mechanics I've been too, and that's a long list! read more

Found these guys on Yelp after the dealer told my mom she needed a ton of work done on her 2011 Honda CRV. I took them the list from the dealer me they explained what was actually necessary for the car to drive safe and what could wait. Let me just start by saying that this place was a literal factor in the decision making for my currently planned move to the East Coast. Dimitry is working on my car as I write this to ensure that it is ready for my 2700 mile long road trip to my new home, and I honestly DO NOT trust anyone else to do so. Rare to find good honest BMW mechanics. They initially helped fix some issues on my 2001 5 series wagon after I got a quote that seemed too high from another mechanic. They even said I didn't need to do some of the work the other guys said I needed which saved me over $500. 5 years later my car still runs great pushing 200k miles. Wow!!!! My E46 BMW was an absolutely nightmare before I brought to Jon and Dimitri. They have the BMW SORCERY no one else has. My car had every issue possible, o2s, fan, over heating, they were able to fix everything for me for a very reasonable price. I'm in the process of restoring my car.
