This restaurant definitely gets 5 stars in our book. We've been there 3 times in the month of January! The first time we went for my husband's birthday, just the 2 of us. It was mid-week, quiet, and beautiful. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer. As for the menu, at this point I've had 3 different salads and loved them all. I've had 2 of their pizzas, both great, and last night I had a chicken dish that was excellent and too big for me to finish. My husband loves their pork chops and octopus. The second time we went, we had a birthday dinner for a family member, so there were 9 of us. They promised me a round table and did not disappoint. The waiter was friendly and impressively attentive the whole evening. Everyone raved about him afterward. Last night, we went with another couple. There was a huge party in the main room, so we sat in the back room which has sliding glass doors, so we could still be a part of the festive vibe while not having to deal with the all the noise. Once again, the waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive! Our friends even remarked about the fact that he was quick and on top of everything we could possibly want, yet we never felt rushed for a second - in fact, we stayed for over 2 hours. The espresso martini and cheese cake at the end were a fabulous ending to an all around great experience. (Oh yeah, the Nutella pizza with strawberries and bananas at the family gathering was pretty outrageous too!) AND - all of this PLUS free valet parking! YOU were also walking around without a mask!!!! Seriously UNSAFE for your patrons to be exposed to you. When you did finally serve us, in between going back to your table and drinking alcohol and smoking a cigar (indoors) the whole night long, you tried to tell us you knew what we wanted... You got everything wrong and WE WERE there for five hours because we had to wait to be seated, to be waited on and to be served. On top of it you told us the after dinner drinks were on the house because you knew you messed up our whole night, but added them to the bill along with other items we didn't order. Your response to my review is unprofessional, but meanwhile you message me privately and provide your cell number and state that you want to make up for the bad service. You contradict yourself. When I first arrived (as a break in a long drive on my way back from PA) I thought I was going to be way under dressed and uncomfortable with 2 small kids. Great food! Great and quick service. They were accommodating. Very nice outdoor seating that did not feel hot even though it was 90+ degrees outside. Hands down best service I have ever had the pleasure of receiving, both from the owner, Ariano, and his staff. Ariano knows my uncle and had heard about my aunt passing last month, which has been very hard for us. He invited my family and I in for dinner, which was incredibly sweet and generous of him. First of all, the restaurant is beautiful inside, one of the most clean, classy, and modern restaurants I have ever been to. I was standing near the bar area with my coat, purse and a drink in my hands. A server walked by and saw me juggling all 3 and went out of his way to hang my jacket up for me and find a chair for me to sit in with my purse. Soon we sat down in the gorgeous Princess Room where we were brought courses upon courses of amazing food, served family style. The staff was so attentive and just continued to be all around really great. As I was eating my meal, I also saw Ariano walking around, checking up on and chatting with tables. He truly makes you feel like you are family and it is nice to see an owner so actively involved in his business. Stopped in for a dinner on my business trip with some colleagues and this new italian place popped up on my radar. We stopped in and were immediately seated on a weekday night. The restaurant is beautiful and massive- tons of tables and seating. Would be amazing for an event. We got seated and ordered mojitos and our entrees. The owner came out and was absolutely amazing- he had us try several delicious appetizers on the house. He was extremely friendly and very passionate- making tons of recommendations and was very accomodating to what we wanted. Excellent, excellent service. For dinner i had the chicken parmesan (off menu) and it was massive. A huge portion of chicken with an additional plate of pasta. It was a bit blander than I'm used to but was still good. The appetizers: calamari, foccacia bread, and cheesy bread were amazing. The mojitos were strong and fresh. Overall was an amazing experience, highly recommend and the owner is fabulous. Sad to give this place 2 stars. The food is good and the place is nice, but two things are unacceptable 1) wasting my time and 2) lying about prices and how long things will take. On one occasion, my family waited over an hour for a seat despite the original wait time of "15 minutes" ... the owner came by every 5 minutes to tell us it would "be less than a second" which couldn't be more annoying because it became very obvious that he had no idea when our table would be ready. We have also ordered takeout from this place. Same problem. They tell you 15 minutes ... you get to the restaurant in 20 minutes to pick it up and then you sit there waiting another 40 minutes for your food to come out. Okay - so maybe your time isn't valuable and you are willing to wait hours to eat. Are you willing to be disrespected and lied to? Price misquotes on takeout orders have been an issue for us and the owner must speak another language because nothing he says comes true. Let me translate for you: "Your table will be ready in just 1 minute" = "I have no idea when your table will be ready, we will probably seat people who come in after you because we are completely disorganized" "Your dinner comes with a side of pasta" = "we will ask you what pasta you want and then charge you for it ... it comes with it, for a price" "Your order will be ready for pickup in 15 minutes" = "call us in about an hour and see if we started making it yet" "that will be $15" = "we will charge you $24 for no apparent reason and then when you complain the girl at the front will just blankly stare at you and say 'so what do you want me to do' (which is a way of saying "eff you, take it or leave it") If this place wasn't so DISORGANIZED it would be great. Bunch of servers, hosts, and cooks running around in chaos. They need to hire more people or get a better order management system or something ... then it will worth going for the great food. Responding to owner comments: Patricia's response is a perfect example of how this place can't communicate with customers. I clearly said the hostess gave me a blank stare and had an attititide toward me. I did not say a thing to her. I guess because the hostess is "a lady" customers should be fine with a bad attitude.
