Vibe Salon is a "vibe" that you do not want to go back to. I recently contacted the salon for a specific shampoo & conditioner (Davines Purple Love Shampoo and Conditioner) and I was asked to provide my name and contact information because the worker was currently "washing" a client. The worker stated that they received a new shipment and that she would check after her client and contact me back. I understood and expected a call back in less than an hour but I received a call back 3 hours later and an hour before the worker was off. At this point I was already irritated because I wanted to wash my hair that same day and it was already getting late. I then informed the worker that I would be coming in the next day (New Years eve) to pick it up. The worker stated that someone would be in the shop around 11am so I came in the afternoon and waited at the receptionist standing. NO ONE greeted or helped me until I began pacing back and forth. There was literally a stylist working on a client in a chair and she clearly seen me standing from the receptionist area. The worker's chair that was diagonal from the receptionist and closest to the front entrance was inconsiderate and ignorant. This Salon lacks customer service skills and are not professional. I will not be purchasing any more items from this place. My first & last coming here! I will be purchasing the Davines product at a different local salon and/or online.

This salon is amazing. Everyone wqs great, warm and welcoming. Angelica did my hair and she was amazing! She knew how to listen to what I wanted to happen and at the same time give her thoughts on what would be best for my hair! I would definitely be coming back here Definitely recommending this place to anyone who would want to get their hair done!

The first pic (the girl with black and white stripes) is the sample of how I want the color. I want it really subtle. And the rest is my hair about 10 days later. Not subtle at all. And Kailyn trim my hair but it seems that one side was cut straight up made the other sides looks longer. I spent $150 plus tip for this service. I'm so disappointed. It's definitely the SUBTLE color I want and it seems like I just color my whole hair hair!! Update: after talking to the owner Sarah, I decided to go back and have Kailyn fixed my hair the way I wanted it originally. And it's just how I wanted it. Thank you Kailyn and Sarah.

I have been getting my hair done with Julie Restivo for about 3 years now and she has never let me down! Before going to Julie the only person I would allow to touch my hair was my grandma, so I was definitely putting all my trust in julie's hands and I have no regrets! She always listens and delivers; she also takes the time to explain and teach me how certain hairstyles or coloring works. I've been talking about doing color or highlights for 3 years and this year I finally decided to let Julie know that I was ready to take this step and WOW! My highlights turned out AMAZING!!! I have never even imagine having so much confidence after finally getting highlights, but Julie definitely went all out! I love her!

Thank you Maura for giving me the confidence to go short! I have always wanted to, but other people have talked me out of it, including a few stylists over the years! My hair is fine in texture but thick in quantity - if you share this hair type, you know how difficult it is to style. It goes limp easily and doesn't hold texture...while at the same time feels heavy even when cut short and layered. In the past, I was convinced I was too low maintenance to do super short hair, but I think I was lazy about my hair because it was too much work when it was long. 90% of the time I just had it in a messy, heavy bun. I would curl or straighten maybe 4x a year and half the time it didn't come out right. I worried that styling short hair would be too much for me and others have convinced me that was true. Maura was the first person to tell me that yes, short hair is more work in terms of getting it cut and having to style it daily, but at the same time it's faster to style. In that way it's kind of a wash for me personally in terms of whether short hair is higher maintenance. That wasn't something I had considered before. So if you have ever wanted to go short but have been afraid to, find yourself a stylist who is confident about it with you! It makes all the difference. I have also done color correction with Maura and she was so sweet and patient despite how long it took to correct the absurd amount of hair I had. Creating ash tones on Asian hair is very difficult but she was great at lifting out the brass tones and creating more taupe/ash dimensions. She is also just super chill and easy to hang out with, and the vibe of the salon and other hairstylists is relaxed and fun. As someone who is introverted and not super girly I usually feel like an awkward sore thumb at hair salons, but I always feel comfortable here. Plus it's so clean and cute inside! I rarely take pictures of myself, so I don't have any before/afters of my color correction. Here is a potato quality before/after of my cut though!

Kailyn has been my stylist for several years now and she is by far the best stylist I have ever gone to and I am 66 years old so I have been to many! Kailyn actually "listens" to the look you want to achieve rather than just saying "sure, ok" and then doing what she feels like doing. This has been my experience with so many stylists over the years, they just do not listen. Kailyn is also very accommodating schedule wise. Also, if a hair emergency happens she will fit you in and solve the problem. Kailyn is a real professional in every sense of the word. I can't speak highly enough of Kailyn. read more

Not only did the CUTEST salon pop right out of a HGTV show, but I walked in with a bird's nest and after the Brazilian Blowout, I walked out looking like a young Fabio (the jawline comes from my moms side). Sarah Peterson did an amazing job taking care of me and was fully engaged to all of my venting and family gossip. 10/10 would recommend. read more

The most satisfied I've ever been with my hair AND my salon experience. I was a first timer at Vibe salon today with Sarah Peterson! Let me just begin with the start of my booking, she text me back within the first half hour of reaching out to her, she gave me an accurate quote of the time and price I would need to dedicate to my appt. NOT to mention she booked me an appt a week from the day I reached out to her. Next let me talk about how cute, clean, and friendly her salon is! So cute every station has so much character, her staff complimented me anytime they walked past me in my chair, and they all were taking special precautions right now with COVID which made it very comfortable. Sarah made my experience so pleasant, it was like I've known her forever! She went above and beyond with all the different steps she did to make my hair perfect! She fixed every flaw in my hair, my blonde looks the best it ever has my whole life. I'm so happy to have found this gem and I wait to see her again read more

Bri did an excellent job on my hair. I can't thank her enough. She listened to what I wanted and kept checking to make sure I was happy with what she was doing! That is so important. I was nervous about going to a salon to get my very long hair cut but she put me right at ease and did an excellent job. Don't waste your money here at this over priced salon. I went in for the stylist to cover my grays and wanted light brown hair color. I'm in my 30's and don't want gray just yet. She made my hair look more gray instead of less. I had already been at the salon for 4 hours and needed to leave for prior arrangements. The stylist said she could fix it in a couple days. So like an idiot, I trusted her a second time. She said several times it was going to be light brown. Now my hair is almost black. When I mentioned it she said you need to go darker, so it will lighten over time. I feel she maliciously choose a darker color than what was requested. The stylist said it was the lightest she could do. When I came in the second time she was sloppy and got die on my skin, which I had to remove from my forehead. And she blow dried my hair without putting any product in. So it was a fuzzy mess. My hair looked better before she touched it. read more

Julie fixed an absolute disaster. I am telling you it was bad I will add a picture below. She was upfront with me when I told her what I wanted since my hair was so dark but she really delivered. She was also attentive to the fact it would not be a session that could just be squeezed in between others because my hair was so thick and she was right, it took almost 7 hours to finish everything. It didn't feel like 7 hours though because she was so funny and we had great conversations. She also provided snacks because it was so long and she didn't want me to get too hungry, which was much appreciated. She also told me everything she was going to do to my hair and why she was doing it at the beginning so I could know the process and answered any questions I had throughout the process. Lastly, SHE TAUGHT ME HOW TO CURL MY HAIR, she wanted to be sure I walked out of the salon knowing how to protect and style my hair. Honestly just an amazing experience overall. read more

My friend actually came to me and ask for recommendations on a different salon the day she got her hair done at this one. I won't put by who because that's rude however I will say it wasn't so much she did a horrible job because it probably would have came out nicer if she just would have spent the proper time on her client. She seriously told my friend, who by the way had a week in advance scheduled appointment, " i have another client so I can't do your top hair darker right now' but still charged her what I would consider full price, over 100$. Like I said if she would have just scheduled properly and taken her time in every client instead of picking specific ones maybe people wouldn't feel obligated to give this salon a one star yelp review. read more

Please don't go to Kailyn. I live in Bay Area and yesterday went all the way to Vacaville to The Ladt Tangle. I do every year from this salon and everybody do excellent job. This 1 Star is for Kailyn. I don't know if she is new there. I went yesterday for my hair color and highlights. I showed her multiple pictures what I want. I am doing blonde highlights for so many years. She said she can't do blonde color because my natural hair color is dark. My half hair was already blonde. I showed her that last time Dane salon did that. She still denied and said she will try. And then she put some red orange color on it. Which looked so weirded because top hair were red orange like heena and bottom half were blonde. I also asked her to give base first with one color then make highlights. She said she will tone it which I didn't see. For layers cut, I believe she even doesn't know what layers cut is. She made 1 simple cut for bangs and 1 cut at bottom as trimming. She said I cannot make layers. Because for volume you need to put so many products. After that I was just silent because I didn't want her to cut my hair and want to go other place After hair cut everybody makes nice curled before go. But look in the picture and see how she made my curles. This is the picture I took immediately after coming out from salon. I went again in Bay Area for recolor and recut. They did awesome job. They were also shocked by Kailyn work. There was highlights only on top. Not in sides, not on back. Omg I don't know how these untrained people get job in 5 Star salon. read more

I made an appt with Jackie after hearing and reading good reviews .especially when it came to coarse curly hair ..I wasn't disappointed..she asked me what I wanted to do with my hair..it was abit long and fried from a perm . I told her I wanted a short haircut to start fresh with minimal maintenance. But wanted it to fit my face ...she listened and explained exactly what she was going to do considering my hair is straight on top n the rest wavy...after all was said and done..I was one happy gal !! I recommend Jackie to anyone with difficult hair .she is now the only person I will go too..even after I washed it and did as she said..it still holds its shape and the compliments I get all the time makes her the only one I will go to from now on...thank you Jackie read more

I have been here twice with the same stylist. The first time I went I was getting all over highlights on my dark hair. The top part of my hair came out nice and blonde but the bottom of my hair was dark brown and orange. Not a great look. I ended up going home and bleaching the bottom portion of my hair on my own. I thought I would come back again to the same stylist because even though the color wasn't great I did like the cut the first time around. This time over all the cut was good-ish. It is a nice looking bob but when I got home I noticed one side of my hair was longer than the other. So again I had to go in and fix my hair myself. I just feel that for $50 without a shampoo, the cut should have been perfect. The stylist is kind and easy to talk to but I'm afraid I won't be back to her. I'll have to try again with another stylist and write an updated review! read more

Not only did Julie schedule me less than 24 hours in advance, she also took the time to ask me about my hair. What I like about it, what I don't, and what I struggle with. Then, as she was cutting my hair, she shared loads of valuable information on care and products, making sure to explain what she was using and why. One of my struggles was styling, so she gave me blow drying tips and took the time to show me how to curl my hair! I'm a 25 year old female who has ALWAYS had hair envy because I have never understood what I was doing wrong. Julie demonstrated her technique and then gave me the curling iron and let me practice while being there to correct and encourage. It's so refreshing to encounter a stylist that genuinely cares about her clients satisfaction with their own hair! I will recommend her to everyone I know because of this. read more

Long over due... I just have always had such an absolute amazing service here. Sarah B. Is the best hair stylist I've ever had. I have really thin hair and it's a bit scary doing anything with it. I always get scared that I will lose all of the little I have. Sarah was so good to me and my hair. She's done tape extensions, color and cut... I've always loved it! One thing I really appreciate about her is she really takes time to educate you on how to take care of your hair and she'll tell you if what you want is realistic or not, especially with color. So sad I had to move to another state. I would absolutely take her with me if I could. read more

This review is for Ashley! She rescued my hair after a bad extension job! She was very accommodating, taking me in at the last minute and making me feel at ease about the whole thing. Usually hair stylists can be very intimidating, and for someone who takes pride in her hair, it's hard for me to trust a stylist. Ashley listened and assured me along the way, recommending products and techniques for my hair type. She was very personable and compassionate which helped me incredibly! I'm so thankful to have finally found a stylist I can trust! Go to Ashley! Overall I love the salon ambiance. The other stylists are friendly and sweet as well. My first visit at The Last Tangle exceeded my expectations. Randee, my stylist, booked my last minute appointment and patiently worked with me as a new client. I wanted a cut and style much different than what I came in with and she listened taking note of my lifestyle and taste. Throughout the appointment she answered my questions concerning hair products and styling techniques, making sure to demonstrate how to use them. Meanwhile, my significant other was made comfortable in the waiting area where he could read in quiet. Saw Sarah K for my color today and I love it!!! First time going to her and she knew exactly what I wanted so I let her do her thing. My color came out great! The salon is tucked in downtown Vacaville, if you don't pay attention you might miss it though, so call if you get lost. Super cute little shop, clean, and a friendly environment. read more

Had the best hair experience I've had in a long time, at the Last Tangle Salon today. It is a very cute little shop that employs 25 hair stylists. It was very neat and clean. Never before have I been offered a free wine beverage before with my hair appointment. That was very refreshing and relaxing. The atmosphere was super chill. The price of a cut and color was even more surprising. It was cheaper than most ever other place I have looked into to get my hair done. She offered some great smelling hair products that I couldn't pass up. My stylist explained what each product was for before applying to my hair. She didn't push the products on me which was nice. Ask for Julie. She did an absolute amazing job on my hair. She made sure I understood exactly what she was going to do to my hair. She helped me understand why the last time I got my hair done, that it came out the way it did. She nailed the color that I wanted which was a difficult red/violet color. read more

I love my hair!!!! Thank you Ashley C. for making me feel beautiful again! She was great at listening to what I wanted and very attentive, also fun to talk/gossip with about life ;) I brought my two year old with me and they didn't mind at all (whew!) and were very sweet with her. Ashley was even nice enough to wash my daughter's hair to make her feel like she was a part of the salon day! The salon is very comfortable and the decor is adorable. CASSANDRA!!! I hardly write reviews but this one is long overdue. I've been going to Cass for about two years now. She is the type of stylist that will look at the photos of the hair color/style you want and she will help you work through what and how it is possible. She's professional, realistic and so personable. Not only that, she is familiar with military regulations so she understands how color and style may be an issue and she finds ways to make it work. I came to her with box died hair that had been in gel for about 8 months through a deployment and she turned my hair blonde and bombshell. I drive to her from Sacramento and it's always worth it. This was my first time at Last Tangle. I had seen so many good reviews for this salon, I knew had to try it. I contacted Maura for an appt, who was quick to reply and got me in two days after I called. First off, the salon is really cute. It's located in an old Victorian house upstairs in downtown Vacaville. The atmosphere is super cozy and chic! I'm shy and introverted by nature, but Maura instantly put me at ease. I really appreciated that she took the time to educate me about my hair type and gave me useful tips that I had not received from previous stylists. I have 2A hair, which could be described as medium/fine, wavy hair that has been damaged from years of coloring and heat styling. I usually have a hard time explaining what I want, but she knew exactly what I wanted and delivered it. I have never been so happy with a haircut in my life. Thank you so much Maura! Maura is always great. She does awesome with color, will work you in a pinch, and is able to listen and do what you ask. She never pushes product on you, but is always willing to share her fav's. I asked for a mani/pedi and a guy who I'm guessing might be the manager said no problem. After a few minutes I got seated and maybe 5 minutes later my feet were soaking. Well that lasted the better part of 25 minutes which I was none too pleased about. While this happens at many nail salons that's just an unacceptable amount of time. I'm sure they don't want to turn anyone away as thats lost revenue. But I'm surely not coming back due to this. The manager eventually saw I was waiting a long time and he applied a scrub to my feel/legs and exfoliated my soles. I don't know what the answer is to this issue but many of us don't like to be sitting around waiting for our service. The other downside, I got a person by the name of Van. Who was unfriendly was paying attention to everything but me. And did a terrible gel manicure, so bad I had to ask her to fix issues I could see with the paint. There are way too many nail salons in Solano County, so while the manager did his best it's not cool to let customers sit in the pedicure chairs for more than 10 minutes max. Also pay the cost and have a movie, TV show or current music on your screens.

As I left, I had to move around piles of dirt and debris that one of the gentlemen who worked there swept into the pathway. Gross. Not going back.

Let me just start by saying Savannah is an amazing hair stylist my first story is what led me to this salon I don't regret coming here I have found my new go to place So it was my birthday and my boyfriend said that I can finally get my hair done I'm pregnant and he is very protective over what I do involving chemicals but I had gotten the OK so I went in for some thing a bit darker then my normal blonde since I can't do much crazy with my life any more I was so excited but I had left the salon crying and left with blue hair I immediately went to Facebook to see what friends I had the could help me in my time of panic and I had found the last tangled salon it was such short notice and they made time to fit me in and knew how extremely up set I was but they assured me I was in great hands and were they ever so right they did no damn and brought back my beautiful blonde hair and readded all of my coloring that I wanted I felt sighs of release and I pretty much felt like crying again but this time only out of happiness if you are scared to ever put your hair in someone's hands when you come here as soon as you walk in they will change that staff and every one is so amazing welcoming thank you very much the last tangle salon I would still be having the worst birthday if it wasn't for you guys read more

The professional, genuine TLC, products and treatments to my hair have been amazing! Starts with my stylist, Sarah B.; she helped me with my old style of my Tape in Extensions from Southern California and broadened my horizon with a plethora of new products. I learned of her Halo and said good bye to my extensions. Sarah B. keeps me blonde, with healthy hair and alternates with highlights/to lowlights and breaks my base which makes my re-growth look so natural. The salon is beautiful and such fun. I always feel comfortable and welcome at the Last Tangle Salon. I have been going to Patty Tyler for my hair since my first haircut. Patty always listens and does a phenomenal job. I always leave extremely happy and looking fabulous. Some of them have come close, but Bree's technique created bounce and definition like I have never seen before. And with minimal touch-ups, the set lasted for 4 days following! Grace is the best hair stylist I have ever had. She listens to what I want done, but also has great ideas about what will look best. I go to her for both a great cut and terrific color. People ask me who does my hair and I am more than happy to recommend her talented service. Jacquie is an awesome Hair Stylist. I've been going to her for over 12yrs because she always does a beautiful job on my color. She's helps me figure out new hair styles when I want a change and gives me feed back on what she thinks will look good on me and I'm always happy with the end result. She's also very knowledgeable about hair products and can help me pick the right product for my particular needs. When I leave the salon after getting my hair done, I feel great! Jackie Vassalo has been my stylist for almost 20 years. She knows my hair and knows the colors and styles that will work for me. Through the years my hair texture has changed and seems to now be more resistant to holding color, but she always finds a way to make it work. Recently I called her when my daughter's hair needed a color correction and without hesitation Jackie came in on her day off to help us. Jackie has a big heart and really cares about her clients. LeighAnn Kimbrough is the absolute best! Hands down! She truly has miracle hands on her and is amazing! She has a lot of patience and gives 150% into her work. She is definitely a perfectionist as well! She puts all her heart and soul into her talent! And you will always leave her chair feeling refreshed, beautiful and brand new! Go see Kelly Burrows! I have been going to her for years and she always delivers! I leave feeling beautiful, happy and confident that my hair looks its best! She has a great knowledge of hair and her skill set is on point for whatever look you are going for! This salon not only has a wonderful and beautiful atmosphere but it also has Jessica! She is pretty much the only person I trust with my hair! I had a bad experience a loooong time ago and it turned me off going to a salon for years, even to just get a simple cut. Jessica is honest about what is possible and I have only loved the results I get. Having super curly hair it is hard to trust that everyone knows how to cut it I'm so happy to have someone to trust with my hair! read more

I get my hair done by Sarah K, I've never been anything but thrilled when I leave. I could be referred to as "adventurous" (careless) with my hair and have on more than one occasion came into Sarah with layers of black and a desire to be red or blonde, Sarah makes it happen and has never damaged my hair. The salon is locally owned by a very nice woman and the atmosphere is very relaxed and low-key. read more

I was referred to Sarah by a friend who has beautiful extensions. I went to another salon and was very unhappy with my extensions and with the service I received. I highly recommend this salon! The shop has a open, friendly and inviting atmosphere. All the stylists are experienced and listen to what the customer wants! Patti Tyler is the owner and my hair stylist and does an amazing job with my hair and I always feel beautiful when I leave the shop. Savannah Hall does an amazing job everytime! Whenever I try to explain what cut and color I want, she makes it happen and it always turns out gorgeous! Every appointment I go to is so relaxing, she's very welcoming and sweet. I don't trust a lot of people with my hair, but I definitely trust her. I was in desperate need of a haircut/color so I was searching yelp and LUCKILY I found this place! Kaila did an amazing job and she is incredibly sweet! I would recommend her to anyone.
