The store was somewhat busy on a Sunday morning, as there were other groups shopping and getting help from the staff. There seems to be a good variety in terms of lehengas. They had a lot of mix and match outfits. You pick out colors and they'll bring out options they think will make for a cohesive outfit (top, skirt, and scarf). I think this is good if you have a pretty specific vision for colors and styles, but we were just starting our search and would have liked a bit more guidance on styling and pricing. I think part of that was that it was like two staff members helping at least 2 other groups. Service was otherwise nice, and they did answer our questions when we had some. They also did not pressure us to buy anything, which we've experienced at other Indian clothing stores. The pricing for a lehenga set that includes top, skirt, and scarf is probably in the ~$150+ range, as you would be mixing and matching. I think in retrospect, after shopping at other stores, although mixing and matching can be nice, I personally preferred already matched sets since they seem more cohesive. We were also looking for kurtas and sherwanis. The staff kind of just showed us where they were located in the store. I remembered seeing prices approximately $300-$500 range for sherwanis. The nice part was that they gave us a sense for sizing, so that was helpful. It seems they have a lot of other outfits, jewelry, shoes, celebration items that we didn't look too much into. After shopping at a few other stores, I am actually not sure if they offer tailoring here, since they tended to pick out lehenga tops for my specific size, and not necessarily other sizes with styles. Might be worth asking if they do have tailoring. I am also not sure if a factor is that it would narrow the styles I would try on. I can imagine that it would be labor intensive and time consuming to take out a bunch of different sizes and styles, and then having to put them back. I didn't realize how intensive the process of buying/selling lehengas was before shopping here! The store is somewhat organized and it does have two fitting rooms for you to use. I can see how it can be hard to try things on if the store gets busier. The downside of trying things on here is that lighting isn't the best. Overall, I think this was a nice store to shop for Indian clothing!

Unfortunately the AC WAS BROKEN! I chose to power through it because of course I started finding cute clothes! I decided to try on some tops and omg, big mistake, reeked of body odor. I tried on my items and headed straight to the register. Poor staff working there 6-8 hours+ in that condition if I was there for less than a hour and felt like passing out I can only imagine how they feel and some had mask on even worse. This place really needs to be shut down, staff should be compensated and AC needs to be fixed ASAP! The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. Marina works so quickly and efficiently that starting 3 months was actually a bit early- 2 months would have been sufficient for me. The first fitting appointment was a bit of a whirlwind so it helped to have additional set of eyes as well as pre-meditation of what I wanted. After the initial alterations, there was only one additional minor alteration needed for my wedding dress. She did an excellent job fixing up the beading, with the overall fit, bustle, and changing the lining, and her prices were more than fair. I did have to ask to try on my dress after the 2nd round of alterations, as that was not part of their usual process. Marina holds onto the wedding dress and steams it right before you pick it up, which should be closer to your wedding day, so plan accordingly. I took my reception dress home after the first alterations, but after practicing for our first dance, I decided I wanted some additional security to keep the strapless dress up. I brought it back to Marina, who easily added an elastic band and clasp to the inside, and I was able to dance away comfortably on my wedding night.
