Kevin Casillas is a GREAT barber yall gotta tap in! and he also braids! from what i know he's only been doing braids for about half a year but you wouldn't even know it, the skill is really there. you can ask him to do pretty much any design! Super patient, pays attention to detail, and makes sure everything is clean and even. You can tell he actually cares about getting you right, not just rushing through the appointment. Real professional and good energy! what i will say is PLAN AHEAD. if you're getting a full service braid it usually takes like 4-6 hours depending (that's a full service wash, braids and haircut). it does take some time BUT the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend this location. Will definitely be back for our son's haircut and even my own. They were able to fit us in before school started. There were only 3 barbers available and it seemed all 3 had a full booked day. They are professionals who love their craft. You can tell the fine details they take in making every haircut look amazing and attention grabbing. I first visited the parlor about six months ago, where my hair was cut by a woman there. I Zelled her the price of the haircut plus a tip. She said she did not receive the money though the transaction showed up on my phone. She was adamant about it. So I paid her cash for the visit. My second experience at this place was not good at all. I asked Maria to do the stylist haircut for my little boy, but do not cut the hair too short. We ended up with a haircut from 90s. On my request to add some layers and choppy look (so it would look stylish and not like from 90s), the barber said that she is not doing the layers, she has not studied for that, that she is able to do only some basic barber stuff. I probably misunderstand the concept. I thought that barbers are like hair stylists, but for men. Seems I was wrong, they can only shave and do straight lines with scissors. Anyway, if you expect to get a stylish haircut with length more than 1/4in, do not go to this place. Search for the place where hair stylist were taught how to do haircuts.
