I brought my Brazilian bestie to Vicky Bakery after a slumber party next door in Century Village. I didn't expect that we would be the Village early birds. Our first attempt on a Sunday at 8am was too early. They open at 9am. We came back a couple of hours later. I went with the classic breakfast sandwich and a meat empanada. Both were delish, though pricey at almost $20 for a counter order. My Brazilian bestie was not as thrilled with his classic breakfast -- eggs, bacon, and toast with orange juice for $20. He was displeased, feeling he got ripped off and should have just cooked this at home. Final thoughts -- cute Christmas vibe though not too busy on a Sunday. Delicious sandwiches but too pricey. We could have gone to a nearby deli for way less. read more

Stopped by to pickup desserts There donuts were awful so hard and dry couldn't even use a spoon to cut them took one bite couldn't even swallow it must of been a week old, had a eclair was decent And a couple other desserts were Ok nothing terrible. Wish them luck and a better baker. read more

I've been here two times and both visits were ok. I liked the croquettes and empanadas, but they weren't very hot, they just needed to be warmed up a bit. The bakery case has a large selection of cakes and pastries that look very good. I want to try one of their Cuban sandwiches, as I heard they are delicious. read more

I couldn't even get my order since the staff barely speaks English. I called. asked for English. They said. A little. How do you open a bakery in the heart of Boca Raton and not have English speaking employees. I mean bi-lingual yes but when it's hard to communicate with staff, that becomes a problem. read more

Quality of food from this location of Vicky Bakery is always consistent and tasty. I ordered my pastries and croissants for pickup, they were still warm when I got them. Several tables for indoor dining. Note that it's only opened softly, with the grand opening to come in a few weeks. This will give the staff some time to work out everything that's new. The chain is usually really good. The cafe con leche here was awesome and well made. The tostada on the other hand was bland, crunchy, dry and small. It was also overly expensive for this small combo. I paid almost $12 with tip for a small cafe con leche y tostada. Definitely a rip off but the coffee was great. Cuban breakfast is known for cheap and good breakfast and this wasn't it. Maybe one day they will be better read more

I can't say enough about how happy I am with both the food and the service here! We ordered catering and the egg/ham/bacon sandwiches were perfect - amazing Cuban bread, not too salty, really great. The mini croquetas were amazing as well. I bought some guava pastries for my group too and they were out of this world! Rave reviews from everyone. Pathetic cake, I was waiting for this Bakery to open. First week I went and bought a cake. The cake was hard, too sweet and had all sorts of artificial color. We grew up on Vicky Bakery. however, this location charges almost double other locations simply because they set up in Boca. yes, prices have gone up everywhere. but to charge almost $2.00 for one croquetta and $4.00 for one cookie is absurd. There's a cuban food truck down the street that is just as good. theres also Padrinos in Boca that still has decent prices for Cuban food. The cookie wasn't even good. I also ordered the pulled pork platter. I was given for $11.00 and change. Half a cup of rice, beans, a toddler size portion of pulled pork and 2 very small maduros. This is basically a child bowl at Pollo Tropical for $7.00 I wasn't impressed. If you know Hispanic food, you're aware of good quality food. This was a major disappointment all around. read more

Egg croissant was fresh and delicious as was the cafe con leche! Beautiful and clean store only a year old! The only thing missing are some sugar free options for the 5,000+ units across the street where most are probably watching their sugar! Specials on breakfast or coffee would be great for the seniors otherwise they will just end up at Dunkin next door! Hopefully this location can last because I really enjoyed it! Sooooooo the pastries are sooooo yum and I must say the flan was the best I've had (identical to Vietnamese flan) and I left there a very happy girl. Cheesecake was full of flavor (slightly burnt crust but I'm not into the crust so it was fine for me), chocolate cake cup was packed with a punch. Lost of star (being generous since I went back and forth between 3 and 4) due to lack there of customer service; language barrier being a major factor, the woman behind the counter's way of addressing you is "what do you want", with sass and attitude in her voice, took very long to be given items because she kept running into the kitchen to give orders to other employees, obviously for the amount of volume they have coming through, they needed another set of hands but the other employee simply walked away and went to collect trash bags. Poorly ran is the easiest way to sum it up but the food is definitely good. Not a shocker in Boca to have lack one of two important factors when operating a business. read more

We were there on the first week of it opening. It took very long to get our food. We got a paper plate with cold eggs and bread. We ordered an extra coffee when I went to ask for the lady was actually mad at me, telling me that I was trying to get a free coffee but OK after showing her the receipt she still wasn't convinced and actually had to call the manager over to look at the receipt so I can get the extra coffee I paid for, I'm originally from Miami. I've been to many Vicky's many times and this was the first time I said I don't think I'm coming back. Good luck getting what you pay for. read more

Being from down south I was so happy to hear a Vicky's opening right near my job. Boy what a disappointment I've given this place three tries. EVERY single time I go there the guava and cheese pastries are barely even filled, today I tried the tequeno and cafe con leche. The coffee was literally milk with a hint of coffee and the pastry cheese wasn't even melted. Beautiful inside but the kitchen can definitely use some help. read more

What a disappointment for what we're used to see on a Vicky Bakery. Quality of the items that we bought was not good. Flan-cheesecake is more like a cheesecake and no flan. It crumbled when we cut it. The bread pudding was kind of watery. The croquettes were good. Watch out! They overcharge people! We had to ask the clerk multiple times for a price check on an item that we bought, that seemed to be excessively priced. And she got defensive, to the point of being rude. Then she said I got a refund back to my card but refused to give me a receipt with proof that they refunded me. Said to look it up on my phone " or something ". Fortunately the "boss" came to our rescue. The young lady just didn't know how to print a proper receipt. The whole ordeal was unnecessary and uncomfortable. read more
