For a place charging these prices, I expected a better overall experience. The biggest disappointment was the value for the money. For four not-so-fluffy pancakes and two coffees, we paid about $55. While everything tasted good, the portions were small enough that we left still hungry. Honestly, it is hard to justify that price for such a limited amount of food. Another frustrating detail was the parking validation. I asked them to validate the ticket, and they ran it through a machine, but I still ended up having to pay for parking. It may seem like a small issue, but when the meal is already expensive, things like that add to the disappointment. In summary, the Japanese soufflé pancakes were delicious, but the service, portion size, and overall value did not live up to the cost. We actually left and went to the Japanese market nearby to buy the mix so we could make them ourselves at home.
