I didn't know that Vicky Bakery made delicious cuban sandwiches but thanks to the national Cuban Sandwich day event, I stopped in to give it a try. I ordered at the counter and gave them my name for the order. Within a few minutes my name was called and my togo sandwich order was bagged and ready to go. There is a few tables for dining in but it seemed that primarily people come in for a Cuban coffee, a pastry or a cake order for a special event. They make everything fresh and it all looked wonderful. Next time I will try the empanadas. I got home and opened up the sandwich. It was still warm but it wasn't pressed which to me is the traditional way to serve a true Cuban sandwich. The flavor was great and I enjoyed the ration of meats and cheese to the mustard spread and size of the bread roll. The service was very nice and I will definitely make a return visit.

I'm so happy that they built a Vicky's near my home. This Cuban bakery is loved throughout South Florida and there is reasons why. I love coming here for a pastelito or breakfast croissant sandwich and of course a coffee. There's plenty of pastries for you to choose and they also offer catering and party platters.

i got my food to go so i forgot to take a pic until i was halfway through my meal so this is the best i've got i came at 6pm so some of the savory pastries were gone. luckily the ones i wanted were still available. i noticed that there were no prices listed for the sweets so i was reluctant to buy any. there's tons is seatings and it's a very nice and clean space. my food was ready super quickly. i'm not sure if the pastries were warm because the employee didn't reheat them and i popped them in the oven quickly when i got home just as a precaution because i love my food crunchy and warm. sandwich: a little too salty, i would've liked if there was a vegetable to balance it out but regardless, this was delicious. i got a size small because i knew i wanted other pastries too. empanada: love the flakiness but it wasn't the exact flavor i was imagining? still pretty good but maybe not as tasty as i wanted. croquetta: i loved the texture of this! i found the flavor to be a bit underwhelming again but im curious what their other flavors taste like. i would be interested in returning to try their other menu options!

Open a few months now and they have been consistent with their food, service and ambiance. This Vicky bakery is located in a dated but busy plaza. Parking can prove challenging at certain times. The space itself is large, bright and clean with a few dine in tables. They have a nice assorted display of pastries and desserts. Service is friendly and efficient. Food is fresh and tasty. Favorite items from here: Pastelitos de Guayaba (guava pastries) Empanadas de carne (beef empanadas) Croquetas de jamon (ham croquettes)

It's nice to have a Vicky's closer to home. This location is lovely on the inside, but the selection is definitely smaller than the other locations I've been to. I'm hoping that with time, the menu expands (or I will visit a different location). They have the typical pastelito selection and cafe con leche, but there were less baked goods and fewer options for breakfast unless they've eliminated options as a whole company. I got the Vicky classic breakfast. It was really tasty as usual, but I ordered without ham, and it came with ham, no big deal. The portions were also really small. It seemed like the kitchen and front of house staff had some kinks to work out still. They must have had some issues because when ordering, the cashier wrote everything out on a notepad after payment. It could be why orders were being messed up. On the plus side, the Cafe con leche was perfect, just the way I like it. There was seating inside, but definitely not enough for the crowd that was there. I'm hoping that with time, these minor things will all work out. It is a great addition in the area!

Ever since I heard Vicky Bakery was opening less than five minutes away from where I live, I've been so excited! Today is DAY ONE and I had to go and get a café con leche for a midday pick-me-up and my favorites - tequeño de queso and croqueta de queso. (Yes, I LOVE cheese!) This is a very nice location - roomy and with some nice tables to sit at. No outdoor seating, but no need. Especially in these hot summer months! It is located next to Japan Inn on the southwest corner of Sunrise & University. Everyone was super friendly and excited to welcome their first customers. I can't wait to come back!

Could not be more excited to have our very own Vicky's Bakery here in P-town!!!! I heard they were open and made my way over for a hostess gift for a dinner I'm attending this evening. Javier and the gang were so welcoming and happy to show me all the fresh baked goodies. I left with a Flan and box of Pastelitos. They offered me a cafe latte, and I of course was happy to accept. It was made with just the right amount of sweetness. Que sweet it is!!! Will definitely be a regular at this great new hometown business.

This was my first time at this location and it will definitely be my last. There were 2 people up front serving customers. One did not speak any English at all and had a hard time understanding English. The other was a total nightmare. Refused to help. Literally skipped over me and served another customer. Another person came in for service and the lady was rude to her as well. She even decided to forget everyone and go in the back and sit down. The lady spoke Spanish and was able to help me communicate with the other lady and help me out. The manager came out and we told him about the other woman. He blew it off and acted like it was a normal thing. Very rude and completely disrespectful. Instead of coming back out, she hung out in the back. Food is very good here but this location needs to look at their employees and how they treat customers. Very sad.

Busssssin! Don't sleep on the sandwiches!

Tea Lab is a cute little boba shop with some pretty good drinks!…read more I feel like I have really high expectations for boba/tea because I live in the land of boba aka SGV aka 626 (iykyk). Tea Lab definitely met my expectations. I got the matcha with banana pudding because I needed some afternoon caffeine. The matcha was just like how I like it - on the stronger side. The banana pudding itself was pretty good and added just the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess to the matcha. My party ordered other drinks as well and we all enjoyed our drinks! I will definitely be coming back if I am in town again!

When we arrived, the place was busy, which I took as a good sign. The staff didn't acknowledge us when we walked in, but I didn't take it personally. It took a while to place our order, and once we did, we decided to enjoy our drinks and dessert in the car. Unfortunately, the drinks were a huge disappointment. I ordered the taro milk tea with pudding, but it had almost no taro flavor at all. I kept waiting for the pudding texture, but it never came. It also lacked the rich, creamy consistency that I'm used to from Tiger Boba Tea in Coral Springs. I also ordered the panna cotta, thinking it was simply the dessert. Instead, I received a strawberry drink with panna cotta at the bottom. The drink itself was not enjoyable, and I ended up not liking it at all. The one standout was the cheesecake. Although it was small, it was absolutely delicious. Considering what I typically pay for dessert at nice restaurants in New York, I didn't mind the portion size. The café itself is beautiful. It's spacious, tastefully decorated, and has plenty of seating. They also have some lovely figurines on display that I wish were available for purchase. I really wanted to like TeaLab, and I had high hopes based on its reputation. Sadly, the drinks didn't live up to my expectations, and while the atmosphere was lovely, it's not enough to bring me back.

I ordered a Family box of six churros with the toppings of strawberry, Dulce de Leche, and chocolate. I am assuming the strawberry topped ones were delicious because I did not even get a chance to try them once my son spotted the box. I did love the Dulce de Leche toppings and I almost ate them both, but I wanted to save some for later. The chocolate one will be my midnight snack and another midday snack tomorrow. The churro itself was both crunchy and soft at the same time and dipped in a light sugar of some sort. The attendant behind counter was very pleasant and my order was ready upon my arrival as I ordered online. Everything looks super clean and aesthetically stacked behind the counter. Overall, I think this place offers a great value for delicious treats that are hard to find or in season only a couple of times a year.

Freshly made Churros with tons of upgrade options…read more So after pizza with the kids we had a sweet tooth itch that needed some scratching. A quick search landed us at Bunnoh Churros. We had no idea initially it was in a shopping mall. But glad to get out of the heat and into some much needed AC. At first the Bunnboh menu seemed a little too much. With so many options it can be difficult especially when you have kids tugging at your side. But we ended up with Guava Bunn, a Classic Bunn, a Milky Bunn and some Churros. It took a while because the Churros were made to order. You had the option of sugar and cinnamon or just sugar on your Churros. There was only one lady and one fryer so it took a bit. But that's both the pro and con. Because those Churros were fresh and delicious. The Bunn cups were a little too much. The ice cream wasn't amazing. Tasted more like generic ice cream but with enough drizzle of any sauce you can make up for lack luster ice cream. I'd come back but I woulf stick with just the Churros and possibly also the sauces. The dulce de leche and guava were great. Just didn't think the ice cream was anything amazing. You might be better off with Häagen-Dazs a couple of stores down in the mall. But if Churros is your jam then definitely hit them up!
