I have tried asada burritos at most of the local places in Jurupa Valley. To me, Vicky's is the best one for flavor & texture. Generous portions, too. Their patty melts are also very good. Service is outstanding. I think some of the employees even recognize my voice at the drive through. I often recommend Vicky's to friends & family. When my sons come to visit from Utah, they insist on a trip to Vicky's for an asada burrito fix. read more

Was working in the area and a few of us got hungry so decided to try this place. The guy behind the counter was helpful and courteous. That's the good news. I can only comment on what I ate so here goes. I ordered chicken tenders and they were the grossest tenders ever! Not sure it was even whole chicken pieces more like regurgitated pulled apart left over bird covered with lousy breading with a white slime inside. There I said it... DO NOT ORDER CHICKEN TENDERS! NASTY! As for the fries and onion rings they were mediocre at best... Do the employees not know that any food that comes out of the fryer you must season with SALT immediately? Take a look at any number of my profile pics and you'll see that my hair isn't short, jet black or ramrod straight. How did this contentious incident start? Read on. Upon recommendation by the owners of GMI Gaming I came here for the hot pastrami sandwich meal. I was so impressed with the quantity, quality and size of the dish that I brought my gf back later to get another. Consistent! In other words, this review might have been 5-stars based on the first two visits alone. The place is clean inside and offers a lot of seating in booths or at tables of varying size. I wanted to expand my dining experience so the third, most likely final, visit steered me towards the Colossal Burger Meal because I could try their beef and still get that fantastic pastrami all-in-one! Food came out quickly (see pt. 1 pic below) and all was well until I ate about 2/3 and found a hair sticking out of the burger. Disgusting! I lost my appetite immediately and worried that I may have eaten part of it. I went up, quite discreetly, to the front and quietly informed the young man who delivered the food what occurred then returned to my table. What happened next is really unbelievable to me, a well-seasoned veteran of the hospitality and food industry. A woman approached the table, mid-length hair tinged with purplish-red and instead of apologizing tried to insinuate that I planted the hair. What made it surreal was her looking at the hair on the plate (see pic) and up at me and back again. Then she suggested that I should have left it sticking out of the food? Really? As noted above, she chilled out but my adrenaline was pumping, I've never, ever, ever been treated like that before in a restaurant but what made (her) situation worse was suggesting it could happen to anyone, at your home or whatever. There's a really big difference to this fallacy-ridden defense: In the food industry there's no room for this kind of mistake. The apology came too late to mean anything. The lack of accepting responsibility was reprehensible as well. I wasn't trying to scam and get money back, after all I ate about half and was already full, nor was I interested in a 'do-over'. In short, it's unlikely that I'll return, anyone who does that to customers is in the wrong line of work. Five stars for the pastrami, 0 for the manager/owner's bad attitude. read more

Yikes, I'm baffled at how bad the food was today. They switched their chicken strips from white meat strips with a nice crisp coating, to frozen pulverized chicken mush with thick breading. French fries were soggy and unseasoned. Onion rings were completely black on some parts and the onion inside was raw. I was such a big fan of this place but obviously they have been making some changes and are going downhill. This $20 lunch is going in the trash. read more

Came here for dinner thanks to the positive reviews from my fellow Yelpers. Its right off Limonite in a very desolate shopping center- hence parking is excellent. Vicky's has earned 5 stars in my book because : 1. Its super clean, spacious and bright- always a winner in my book 2. Staff are friendly- they smile, make good eye contact and are friendly. 3. Food- its your typical diner food but not greasy at all. I opted for the kids meal with a hamburger and after taking a bite of the juicy and tasty burger- wished I had ordered the adult size! Vicky's is great for small town fast food. I think their food is fresh and affordable. The portion size is generous and everything i have had so far taste really good. Service is really friendly & it was nice to see everyone following covid guidelines. Few reasons i had to dock them a star: - their credit card processing fee is high & i hate those regardless. - nearly broke my tooth biting into the olive on my salad. I have to be honest and say the service and quality of the food has been on a rapid decline. I have dined at this restaurant several times and today I was the most disappointed of all. For one, the employee who brought our food couldn't break one smile, was rude, and brought my toast half way through my meal. The toast was burnt to top it off. The food here was really great for years. Large portions, good flavor and decent prices. I been bringing my family here for years... Recently, I had ordered a pork chop breakfast where the pork chops were still pink inside and dripping semi cooked blood in the tray. I tried going back, but the restaurant had already closed. Went back another time and ordered a Swiss and spinach omelette. As I was half way though eating my omelette, I noticed raw, slimy egg in the middle. About an hour later I had really bad diarrhea. Went another time and ordered and egg sandwich and got really sick. I don't know if they hired a new cook, but I definitely won't be returning. I really liked eating here, but not anymore. read more

I was looking on Yelp for some place to eat and found Vicky's. I ordered on the Yelp app. It is a simple process and it's ready when I get there. I ordered the Colossal Burger. It was big and had bacon in it. It's a charbroiled burger and wasn't too bad. The price is very reasonable. I had fries too. They are they larger fries. I prefer thinner fries but these were okak. Over all it was just okay. I will go back but it isn't one of those places you crave. read more

Far away from home while visiting in Riverside/Jurupa Valley. We went to a place called Vicky's Burgers for lunch. It has a drive thru and the sign says breakfast, lunch and dinner and OPEN. We decided to walk in and saw that you enter thru one side door and exit thru another. We didnt realize this was the case as a patron was exiting so we kept the door open and sauntered in. Oh boy a good size menu board to choose from, and the seating inside is like a diner or coffee shop. Oh we would have loved sitting here and dine inside. Staff was friendly. But no seating allowed, and you must wear a mask, so we went to the counter and ordered. The lovely missus wanted hamburger with fries and onion rings and fried zuchini which we were going to share. Our hosts ordered patty melts which come as two slices of hamburger with onion rings, then I had a Chili Size which was homestyle CHILI drizzled with Cheese and sliced sweet onions. For good measure I also ordered the Bean and Cheese Burrito. The prices were so reasonable for the amount of good comforting foods you get with all the sides that should come with the sandwiches like ketchup and ranch dressings and wow that is a fresh tasting mexican style Salsa. Napkins and utensils were in the bags. We took the food to the house and had a feast. The burrito and left overs of zuchini and onion rings was for my dinner. Vicky's Burgers was All good! read more

I went for the first time yesterday. The food was so so. The fries tasted old and weren't seasoned. My burger had a huge piece of lettuce on it. It was thicker than the burger itself. That was an easy fix though. The service was slow and the cashier wasn't friendly at all. There are a lot of places to eat that are so much better. I won't be back. read more

I come here quite often with my husband because they have great grilled chicken breast sandwiches and fresh zucchini. We have tried several items. I love the Gyros and BLTs. He loves the cheeseburgers and shrimp dinner and usually every Sunday we come for the breakfast. It's very generic but it's good nonetheless. read more
