So let me share my experience. I drive a Lexus and I went to Glendale to have it serviced by the dealer. I went in for a small replacement cap for a windshield washer in the front. Came back and they said I had a tear on my rear axle boot. They even showed me a picture of my cars underside. They quoted me about 2300 for a rear axle replacement and told me I should change it immediately. I decided to see if it would be cheaper somewhere else because 2300? That's a lot. So I decided to go to Vic's since I've been serviced here before. Not only did they show me the underside was completely fine, but there was no tear on the axle. The picture they showed me wasn't even for my car! Keep in mind Vic's only quoted me a couple hundred for the rear axle change as well. I left without paying anything. Don't trust dealers. Just randomly asked yelped for a quote and luckily added Vic's Auto Clinic. The store replied ASAP which was nice. My engine light suddenly went on and I thought it was just because my oil change was due but even after I did my oil change it still had the lights on. Don't even bother looking anywhere else for a better deal. Went through Yelps feature to find a place to fix my bumper (thanks mom) and found this gem. Not only are they extremely responsive but they're also very honest and friendly. As someone that works with body shops, I know that coming across an honest one is VERY rare. A little sad that this place is so far but it is 100% worth it. My quoted price was a fraction of what other shops quoted me and rather than trying to sell me on a bunch of other things, they fixed only what needed to be fixed. Not only do they explain everything to you in detail of what is going to be done. They keep you updated during the process if they find anything else! Reached out to fix the front bumper but ended up fixing both (thanks LA street parking) and getting my rear brakes serviced as well Bc their prices were just too fair to pass up on. Will be coming back to get front brakes serviced in a few months and if my car ever needs anything else done! **Editing because I forgot the main perk of coming here (besides the amazingly fair price). I asked for a simple caliper, rotor and brake pad change. On a full PLUG AND PLAY kit for my car. They quoted me $650 for a simple brake job. Guess their hourly rate is between $220 - $325. They probably thought I was someone who doesn't understand anything about cars and they could pull a fast one on me. This job shouldn't take any skilled mechanic more than 2-3 hours to do, specially having a lift. I'll take my business elsewhere, don't deal with these people. read more

I took my car to Vic's because of the great reviews on Yelp. I have a 10 year old Prius and I just can't keep giving the Toyota dealership exorbitant amounts of money for its upkeep. Mr. Z and Vic replaced the front ball joints and suspensor (I think?) arms. It was major work and they charged about 1/2 of what it would have cost at Glendale Toyota. I've been driving the car for a couple of weeks and I had Toyota do an alignment. The work is good, the car drives great and I am very happy that I decided to go to Vic's. They really went above and beyond as well. I took my car to get tires right after Vic's did the front end work. The tire place told me a lug nut had been put on the wheel crooked and showed me where. I took it back to Vic's and it turned out the tire place had done the damage. Z, the mechanic at Vic's, took care of the problem and all is well. I was having a terrible day when I came out of the store to realize I have a tire that was flat to the ground. AAA came to rescue me but for whatever reason they we're not able to change my tire. He filled tire with air so that I can drive down the street to Pep Boys for a plug. They told me I had to wait 1.5 hours to get a plug! OMG I had things to do and couldn't wait. I found Vic's on google he was just a bit further down the street. I pulled up and they were working on another car but said 30 mins. Way better than PB. Less than 10 mins later they were on my tire plugging it up (they found 2 nails!) and sending me on my way. Very fair price $20 for 2 plugs and fast service less than 30 mins experience . Oh they also fixed my front tire where the valve was completely covered by the hubcap from the last guy who did my tire service. The tire had to be completely removed to fix that stupid shit I was rolling around with. Any hoo- these guys are awesome and I will take my car there for my next service for sure! read more

I left my car at Vic's shop for the day and he kept in touch via text and calls to discuss the real issues (which were much smaller than what the dealer was saying). His team even identified a couple issues I did not prioritize for this visit but needed attention eventually so I could tell they were thorough. The recommended repairs for this visit was logical and the rate for the work was very fair.
