Vic and his crew did an amazing job painting our home. They showed up on time, stayed late, and ultimately finished the job a day sooner than planned. Vic's team painted the whole house and garage as well as performed some cosmetic repairs. They added a support to a sagging deck railing, fixed a door that was stuck shut, patched all the large cracks in the stucco and around the rear door, and also replaced about 20 feet of rotten wood trim and fascia. Now 2022 the exterior paint is peeling similar to tape. Take a piece and pull and off it comes. I would NEVER recommend this business. Paint he said guaranteed but not actually after a few months applied. Do yourself a favor check locally, with a neighbor, local business for recommendations for this guy is a ripoff. read more

Our friend had Vic paint her house a few years ago. They were very pleased and recommended his company. We had Victor paint the exterior of our house---stucco, trim, and woodwork, and they did an exceptional job. My old paint was peeling, and a lot of prep work was required because the previous person we had paint did not do the necessary prep work. Victor showed us places that needed repair that were not obvious to us. The water blasting, scraping, priming and painting took three entire days with a full crew, exactly the time frame I was told. The woodwork was all sanded, the stucco scraped and patched, the windows covered. They always showed up early morning and stayed all day. We will definitely recommend them to others. read more

Excellent workmanship, commitment to detail, courteous and extremely professional, on time, & last but not least, affordable. Victor of Vic House Painting gave a proposal that was thorough & without any sales gimmicks. He told me what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, and why. Other pros definitely had a sales pitch which turned me off. I chose Vic becuz he was affordable and I trusted him. This paid off becuz he did an excellent job and handled every unforeseen problem that came up. He kept the place clean during the project, had his own W2 employees, and worked along side with his team. We had a large 2 story duplex with a third unit in back and a 3 car garage all requiring the bright pink paint to be painted over. We knew paint was peeling but had no idea that the stucco underneath had been applied over peeling paint itself and therefore started falling off once the hydroblasting started. Victor took care of this even though it took extra time and effort to remove it all. Victor also patched all the holes (and there were many). To make matters worse, we had windows fully replaced which left open areas around the exterior or the windows. Victor patched those up too. He painted all the iron works, the gutters, & new and old windows. The work was tedious but Victor and his staff were meticulous. If you have a paint job, go with a proven painter like Victor. Worse paint contractor ever...wasted a lot of my time. after waiting for a bid and wasting time meeting them they told me job was too big for them. its a 3500 sq foot house. they skipped an appointment for a friend townhouse to paint. Had this guy come out and do an estimate along with a few other companies. I had gotten a very good estimate from someone prior to Vic's coming out. Unfortunately Vic's estimate was quite a bit higher than the one I went with. Vic's called me to ask about the estimate and I told him what had happened and that another painter was able to do it cheaper and right away. He went off on a tangent about me wasting his time and when I asked him who the f@@k he thought he was talking to he called me an asshole and hung up. If he gets this bent over an estimate I could only imagine why would happened if I had actually hired this joker. Don't walk, run away from this so called professional. read more

Vic house painting has excellent service. I found them on home advisor to paint my elderly father's home. Once we met, he was professional had all of his paperwork up to date and gave me a fair, reasonable price. Once they started, they were there bright and early, ready to work. Vic is the nicest gentleman, and made sure that everything was explained in great detail. They prepped, sand blasted, replaced rotting boards, and competed the entire home in a few days. Let me start by saying I did NOT hire this guy, so the 1 star is for his scary attitude! Home Advisor referred this guy and his reviews were good, but YELP seems to be a true mix ... when he requested an inspection [of the property] to give a quote, I was a little leery (after I reviewing all the comments) and decided to go with my gut. I politely told him I decided to go in another direction, to which he became angry, rude and of accused me of playing games! YIKES! Although the paint job was decent, they forgot to do a section of trim on my back building. I've called several time for Vic to come by and see what I am talking about. Vic won't pick answer or return phone calls. The section of trim was not even prepped, scrapped sanded or primed. All in all, this building took a lot of work but to have this small section of trim not done makes the whole job a poor one. Unfortunately I did not have a 5-10% retention. Too bad Vic doesn't answer his phone because if this was addressed, I would have referred him to my friends. read more

The owner Victor make many promises to get the job and then in the end delivers nothing. First, found out that they trampled the plants outside, as well as, dumped the extra paint when cleaning the tools into the plants/palms in the and KILLED all of them. Second, promised to remove fixtures before painting, patch holes where pictures had been, they did not do either. Third, when he reattached china cabinet to the wall, he drilled it to the pocket door that was inside the wall (there are two holes in the door now). Everything that Victor painted has to have another coat because he only believes in one coat of paint. When I spoke with him he about these and other issues, he said I was too picky but he would come by someday-it's been a month. I will say Juan and the other painter were very nice, arrived promptly at 7:30am but are rushed to finish the job that they would be painting until 8-8:30 at night. I had three friends that wanted to have their homes painted can not recommend this company because of the crappy job that Victor does. read more

I submitted the requested on HomeAdvisor to get the some estimates on the exterior paint job and then the next this guy name's Victor called and left me a message on Friday the 28th, 2015 and then he called me today Sunday 8/30/15. I told him that we do not need to paint the house anymore and his respond "why the F.ck did you call?" I asked him what did you just say? and hung up on me. First I never call or know the guy, HomeAdvisor told him to call me because of my requests. I would stay away from this rude less and unprofessional coward. I would never use the HomeAdvisor after this bad experience and should read more honest review from Yelp. Please do yourself a big favor, stay away from this guy. read more

Victor and his team did a wonderful job prepping and painting my home. I cannot stress enough just how much prep my home needed, but they did it all and delivered on everything written in the contract. Needed to get our house painted, found Victor on Home Advisor. Seen all his reviews & liked what i saw, meet up w/ him liked the price he gave me and decided to pick him for the job. I should have noticed a RED Flag when they said it was a three day job! One day for high pressure wash, any patching, & sanding that needed to be done..... well, I think that's a lot of work to be done for only a two man crew & it showed with the end product, had some cracking on the patch work, I think the poorest work showed on alot of the wood railing & on some of the wood trimming. Any wood that needed patching & sanding was done in a hurry because they are set to a timeline when the job needs to be done, it was sloppy patching cause you could see all the patch work underneath the paint! Also with the trim around the house you could see the outline of the old paint underneath. All in all they should have took the time to give it a better sand job! Also experienced some bubbling throughout the wood work due to not making sure all of the area was clean of dirt & debris before painting. Lesson learned you pay for what you get, next time around i would rather pay a little more & be happy with the end product. read more
