STAY AWAY!!!! I went to drop my car off on Wednesday June 15th at 3:30 P.M. I met with John. My first impression was not a great one and by the time that I left I knew that I couldn't trust him. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in my life. He seemed like he was going to try to discredit everything that I said to Statefarm Insurance. Victory Auto Body is a Statefarm preferred shop, which means that Statefarm does not need to inspect the Vehicle. The shop makes the estimate and the repairs, and the insurance company pays the bill. I tried to disclose every that I knew to John. So, I told him that a mechanic told me that I needed a new driver's side lower control arm because my car was backed into. At this point he called Statefarm to schedule an inspection. This was totally unnecessary procedure and I was told by Statefarm this was confusing to them since Victory Auto Body was a preferred shop and no inspection was necessary. Then John lied to me about Statefarm wanting me to return the rental car and pick up my car since it's drivable. He failed to tell me it's because he scheduled an inspection. He cost me 5 days of a rental car and he cost me money on top of that. The Inspector couldn't come out till June 28th so he lost me another 2 weeks of getting my car repaired He never listens to what the customer says. When dealing with customers you must have their best interest in mind. He does not have your best interest in mind, nor does he care if you take your business elsewhere If a company makes a customer happy, they may tell a couple people but when you treat a customer like I got treated then you really get the word out. That is exactly what I am going to do. I can not stress enough that if anyone reading this and you go to Victory Auto Body you will regret it. I had to get my car fix here due to an accident. All the team member was nice and attentive. They were very accommodating. I had to get an important doctor letter from the car while it was in the paint area where customer is not allowed but one of the worker went and got it out of the car for me. My service guy who was assigned to my car was Carlos and he was amazing, nice and informative. He definitely provided an amazing customer service. Then the next Friday came it was another week then another week then they couldn't find the parts, but just 2 weeks ago they did THEY DID. They have a very messy work area I regret the day I gave them my business. Now it's 7 months later and you can see spots on the hood and the trim and places where the paint has chipped and poorly applied. They had so much overpaint sprayed on it that I had to go take it to be detailed it was disgusting the overpaint what sloppy work. If you care about details and your car DO NOT GET ANY SERVICES FROM HERE. If you care about honesty and respect, DO NOT GET ANY SERVICES FROM HERE. I RARELY EVER HAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, but this is appalling in every aspect. Foremost, they are inconsiderate and lack respect. Their communication has been nonexistent, except when chasing them, and the've communicated false statements. Where to start? So my car had a small dent on right side if you're standing in front of it / left side if you're looking at it from behind. It took about a month to get my car back. They pushed my due date multiple times. While Nick, one of the guy that works there, told me that Mike was busy doing other work on the week my car was supposed to be worked on, Mike told me he was out that week with Covid. My car was probably in the garage collecting dust and getting sprayed accidentally by liquid-refer to the 'stains' paragraph. Below are picture of what's happened after my car was "complete". My car, is a Genesis 2022. Brand new!!! Has never had damaged or scratches before, especially on the silver window panel (please see 5th and 6th picture). Mike originally stated it was glue. I went back to my car and was about to drive off and give him the benefit of the doubt but it didn't sit well with me. I complained that the "glue" wouldn't come off. After Mike went to go check, he admitted there were scratches....Gosh, can't help to think, he probably thought this girl is stupid. I opened the door of the backseat and found horrible stains. An absolute nightmare for any car owner with leather. Mike, again, trying to "reassure" me, said it was leftover "Armor All", licking it off with his saliva. I laughed and said that was not Armor All. I have an exclusive detailer and I know when people are trying to cover up their messes at this point. I was told that I would be in contact the following 2 weeks for the new parts to come in to replace the panel that had scratches....Had to call him again today to chase him up with his commitment. Nothing new. I fear I've been lied to again and that's how this company operates in general. I took my car to my detailer to see if they could help me out with the leftover stains at least, mind you I HAD TO PAY FOR THIS, and they were unable to remove it completely, so now I have LEATHER DAMAGE; Mind you I have not had a single soul step in the back of my seat and even if there was, I don't think they'd be carrying a water spray of some kind and spraying inside my car. I found paint inside the gas tank opening. The gas door was not painted correctly--there is pain missing (refer to 8th pic). The worst part about the gas tank opening is that it's scuffed. It was not like and I don't even know how it was scuffed. In addition, there was leftover white paint that was not cleaned up. It's still there. My key chain and fob have also been damaged; there's a big chip on the Genesis chain and scratches on the fob. I'm pinpointing all these details because I've worked hard for this car and take good care of my things. I understand accidents happen, but this is beyond disappointing. At least have the human decency to own up to it. The last damage detected was on the door handle where the dent was worked on. This is the area where I pointed out leftover residue over the phone. Mike said the detailers did not know what they were doing and that it was probably there before. Mate, it's brand new and the only person grabbing one door handle is me on my door; not the door handle where your crew worked on. Pictures below show what looks like oxidized chrome or worn-out chrome...My detailer immediately pointed that out saying this was not normal. But of course, good old Mike, merely saying, "looks like we cannot satisfy you..." and stated it was probably there again. HOW YOU GET A BRAND NEW CAR FROM YOUR AUTO DEALER and get worn out chrome handle from the backdoor that you rarely ever open IS A CURIOUS THING. Suffice to say, I'm working closely with my insurance, who recommended this place, to seek help and legal advice. read more

Sigh, I've used them twice in the past and loved them. My experience with them the last time was crappy. I dropped off my completely drivable abiet sideswiped car on 3/7 and they didn't even bother submitting an estimate to my insurance until 3/16. During this time my EV that was perfectly drivable just sat there and I spent a fortune on gas. (Literally $275 in the 9 days they did nothing). After complaining on 3/18 about the lack of progress Mike called me on 3/21 with an excuse that he was sick and that's why my car sat for 9 days. He promised me communication from here on out that was lackluster at best (I was the one having to follow up). Long story short, I got my car back on 3/25 and was ready to just let the whole thing go and never leave a review. Now the paint job already started to flake off. I know it has a "warranty" but I don't want them touching my car again because it would be even more of a headache and money lost so I'm just going to pay OOP for another body shop to do it correctly. I don't know what the hell happened, they used to be great but I would personally stay far away. read more

Living in LA...your ride will endure a few boo boos. I had a broken windshield wiper, broken rear bumper and damage to my passenger side doors and rear quarter panel. I showed up without calling on a very busy Saturday morning, and Mike nonetheless took the time to walk out to my car and give me a thorough evaluation and estimate. Mike and the rest of the staff were very communicative throughout the process, and though I was warned of potential supply chain issues, had my mangled up car back good as new within about nine days. You guys came up with $12,000 plus estimate, which I never got a copy of. 2. Your concern with the repair was that the alarm would not make a secondary "beep beep". no no my concern was the honk after the beep beep was not coming on after the repairs were done. It was there before. you are telling me it was not there? Why would I ask you for it then? you humored me? and told me ?? and offered to take it to the dealer? I told you not to take it to the dealer but you still did but they found nothing wrong?? but Gary rode the car with me and acknowledged that there were noises from under the car. you sent me to Garage 88 and he did nothing to it and told me to come back another day after and sold me a battery that I did not need. I guess he was hungry for $225 he charged me and sent me home without doing anything els to my car. 3. Yes you lied to the insurance to. unfortunately the car is no longer with me to show you. 4. youmstated that I accumulated parking tickets? really!! then why didn't you send the tickets to me? go ahead answer me. 5. you also stated that I hit the the loaner. you cntacted me after ypou left my house and then accused me of hitting the car and sent me a picture of an old damage the car had for ever. I challenge you to get a forensic check on the vehicle and you will see that damage on your vehicle was so old it was caked on the vehicle. Why then you did not ask me to pay for it? because you know darn well the damage was there and it was very old. Why didn't you check the car for damages when the car was on my driveway, that is the normal procedure right? you check before you pick up the car not call me the day after. I never got any parking tickets and the only time I drove the car was to go to my son's house and parked in his driveway. I can pull the videos from the security cmeras.. USEFUL TIP: Reading some other reviews, when dropping off, you are strongly advised to give them a heads up if your car is customized, interior or exterior, or if you do not want any detailing done. They otherwise do a great job giving the car a basic detailing at pick-up. This is the second time I've used the shop, after having left a 5-star, very positive review the first time around in 2019. Again they are on the list of recommended shops at AAA. John, Michael, and Cheryl were very helpful as a team with my questions and were efficient in setting up the process going forward for a Honda. At 8:30 am on a Monday the place was buzzing with activity. The grounds were being swept and cleaned. A good sign that they care about what they do and where they do their work. The regular updates over email were a great touch. No need to sign up they will contact you. It did, however, take about a week for me to receive the first email explaining that work had begun on the car. So if you are impatient it may be good to give them a call before getting that first email. I was notified by phone a whole week before the estimated date of repair completion. Which was a great surprise. Victory was able to turn a front end repair in about 3 weeks which may be understandable given the pandemic and the supply chain slow downs. The paint had been restored, and the repaired area looked new. On top of this they had given the car a detail, which included shiny interior surfaces, tires, and a car wash. Cheryl made the pick-up process extremely easy and pleasant. She is a pleasant person to speak to. She remembers. The car looked great at pick-up even though it obviously had been lightly rained on after the detail had been done (the weather not their fault). All in all -- a very positive experience which I would recommend to others. read more

Mike and John are very unprofessional when scheduling time to drop your car off to them for repairs. I initially scheduled an appt with Mike that he was unaware of when I called the week before to confirm and said if I bring it in on the date scheduled, it will take two weeks instead of the initial one week to work on the car so I rescheduled for two months later to work on the car for two weeks. When I called to confirm this appointment a week before, they had no record of the appointment. If they can't get appointments right, who can say what they do to your car so before off staying away from this auto body shop. read more

I was recommended to Victory Auto Body through my insurance after being rear-ended and have been pleased with my experience. They were honest about timing (especially around the holidays and suggested I wait until after the New Year to avoid delays in getting parts). I waited, and they gave me an 8 day estimate to replace my bumper (with a caution it could take longer if they notice more issues once they remove the bumper). All in all, it ended up taking exactly 8 days! When they called me with the good news that my car was done and ready for pickup, I couldn't ditch the rental car quick enough, but also thought I might be picking up a dusty car (from sitting outside 8 days) and greasy hand prints all over (like what happens when you get it back from the mechanic or even dealer), and was fully expecting to have to make a stop at the car wash, but to my surprise, they washed it, polished it, cleaned the inside, AND shined my tires and trim! It was like getting a brand new car back! The bumper looks great, the paint seems to match. So I'm very happy to have my car back! read more
