Title: Craftsmanship on point. Communication lousy. Alright. Let me start by saying that the reason I needed a repair in the first place was my car was rear ended by a drunk driver while parked in Glendale. (Gotta love drivers in Glendale) And the dude's insurance covered business with Victory. Now their work ON THE AREA OF THE REPAIR...immaculate. Beautiful paint job. Seamless. Nice job. My issue is with some other things. First off, they had my car for over a week before I even got an estimate. Now, call me crazy but I'd think it only takes a day to look at the car and see what's broke. Sure looking up factory prices and sourcing parts...I get that takes time. But I got the sense that my car was just sitting there for a week "waiting in line". All that time, I dealt with a rental car I hated as my daily. If all my car was gonna do was sit there for a week, I kinda wish I had it to drive in that time. Not to mention I was promised a call back at one point "today or tomorrow" and I got it the day after tomorrow. Didn't love that. I understand: Covid is difficult on staff right now. But it was frustrating being in the dark on why I even left it there to just wait for this estimate that took like 10 days. I'll put it this way: my patience was tested. Now this is my biggest criticism. AND EVERYONE SHOULD FREAKIN KNOW THIS. They essentially detail your car when you get a repair. The interior gets wiped, car washed, tires made all shiny. Here's my issue. My car is customized in MANY ways. My dashboard is hand painted. My side view mirror brackets are hand fabricated. There are areas that are NOT TO BE WIPED WITH CONVENTIONAL CLEANERS. I have this chrome trim on my dash that I painted on, that is forever hazed over cuz they wiped it. Some touch up paint in the interior that it took forever to color match, is rubbed off cuz they wiped it. It's frustrating. I told them there's a lot of custom work on the car when I dropped it off. The dude handling my paper work during drop off was like: "I see your mirrors are hand-adjustable." I told him: "no they're not. They're bolted to the car. DONT TOUCH THEM. DONT TOUCH ANYTHING BUT THE BUMPER. There's a lot of custom work that I don't want you to mess up." But he was so cheery in his "client relation/paperwork" mode I could tell he wasn't listening. And weeks later I get all my interior paint work wiped down with streaks/water spots and haze/removal of all my hard work. I was not told anyone would even be in my interior doing anything other than driving the car into the paint booth. Why was anything but my bumper even touched? TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE DOING. All I can say: if your car is your baby...if you did some unconventional repairs on a classic because the parts were hard to find...if there's ANYTHING ON YOUR CAR that you don't want touched. Get it in writing. TELL YOUR CLIENTS WHAT YOU'RE GONNA DO WITH THEIR BABY. Cuz not all of us want things detailed when we didn't ask for it. read more

I can't say enough here. I mostly worked directly with Mike. I got in my first accident, and I did not know what to expect or do. First of all, Mike stepped me through what I needed to do in order to get my car towed to their shop. I was dealing with some back and forth stuff with insurance, but eventually it got resolved. We had an estimated date for the completion, but unexpectedly there were delays in the parts. I was already anxious due to the situation and accident, but Mike was very clear, understanding, and I just think his calm customer service just put me at ease. A few times we had some delays, but again, with the top notch customer service? It was a no brainer to just let the process take its course. I had checked on the reviews prior to making the decision and suggestion from my Insurance to take my car to Victory Auto Body. So I had already read and knew the quality of work they complete. I was sold on that alone. So I honestly got to a point that I was okay with how long it took. It was more of my schedule, and that I was going out of town that was more urgent. Because it took longer than expected, Mike offered to cover the rental cost and apologized. Which I thought was a huge kind gesture and unexpected. Honestly, this kind of customer service is not common nowadays. I just knew I was in the best of hands. When I got back in town from my trip, I went to pick up my car, and it was washed and cleaned up, and literally looking brand new!!!! I couldn't believe it. No joke, I almost shed a few tears. Mike was so nice, and we talked a little about the car. Throughout the entire process, Mike communicated what was being worked on and the things he may need from me, and just the entire process. Again, this was my first accident ever in my life. So this was a bit devastating for me. But being in the hands and service of Mike and Victory Auto Body made the process and experience much less of a headache. Thank you so much. I'll make sure to refer people your way. I damaged my Lexus and my insurance company suggested a couple of repair shops in my area, and I chose Victory Auto Body, mostly because of its proximity to my work. What a great choice. I called first and spoke with Vic who assured me that they already had my info from Mercury Insurance and that they were ready for me. I took my car in and met Armani who talked me through the process, called for a rental car and I was out of there within a few minutes. Everything went exactly as he had explained. The job was completed in days and when I returned I was shocked to see how great my car looked. They fixed everything perfectly, plus did a couple of things that improved the appearance of my 13 year old vehicle, things that were above and beyond what we had discussed. Could have been the end of a great transaction, but there's more, and this is what really hooked me on these guys. A few days later, the door handle on the passenger side wouldn't open. I wasn't sure if it was related to the work done, or if it was just coincidence, so I called and asked for Armani who was on vacation. Instead I spoke with the owner. He greeted me warmly and told me to bring the car back and let them inspect it. When I took it back he had his man take my door apart and pull the handle where it was very clear that it had broken and had nothing to do with the accident or the work they'd done. "You're a good customer," he said, and offered to order the part and replace it for me at no cost other than the price of the part. Vic called me three days later, I took the car in, and the handle was replaced, all for the price of the part. They could have just as easily sent me to another repair shop, or worse, back to Lexus, but they took care of me. I'm a businessman who prides himself in customer service, and if it takes one to know one, I can tell you these guys are the real deal. read more

I got into a fender bender and contacted my insurance company which referred me to this place. My insurance guy took many pictures before ANY work was done on the car. They told me my car would be ready "in two Fridays" meaning I would get it back June 15th, I don't get the call saying it was done til June 19th or 20th...they never called to inform me my car would be staying an extra couple of days....it ended up working out OK for us though. UNTIL... I got the call saying it was ready for pick up, my husband and I drove over to pick it up. Vic (the owner I guess?) told us to have a look over the car and see how it looks. My husband and I noticed that the front license plate was missing, so we asked if we could have it back. Vic said "you didn't have it when you came in here to get it fix." oh really you remember me coming in 3 weeks ago and noticing the it was gone when I didn't even talk to you that day, I talked to my insurance guy? Strange. My husband stepped forward and said "no it was defiantly on the car when we came in, it stayed on the car after the accident, nearly a week before we went to the car shop" Vics response "oh maybe it fell off on your drive to the shop." hahahaha really just admit you lost the thing and this won't be a big deal! So we told him to talk to our insurance guy, who has a little booth on the shops property, (which of course wasn't there that day) since he took a bunch of pics of the car before the work was done. He told us "go to the DMV and get a new one, they are only about $10" NOT THE POINT!!!! Needless to say its been over a month and I still haven't heard from him. This was the 2nd time in 5 months that I've visited this shop. The first time, my insurance company asked me to go to the shop (for a fender bender that I was responsible for) for an inspection. I was in and out within 15 minutes. The place was busy and each person I talked with was professional and courteous. Second visit was the end of October for an accident involving my front-right tire (did I mention I'm probably responsible for this accident, too?). I hated seeing my car damaged and was totally worried that my car would never be the same. I was wrong! Claudia and Armani have been so professional to work with. They get to the point, they're efficient, and everything they promised...they delivered. As a woman going to a car shop, I always expect to be treated unfairly...LADIES! This is the shop to go to. Awesome treatment, respectful, prompt, they deliver on what they say they will! My car had 4.6k in damage. It looks better than it did before the accident...really, I didn't think that was possible. Beautiful work! They even touched up a little scrap on my back bumper (someone backed into my car in a parking lot and left without leaving a note)...I feel taken care of and I love that the work (since it's a recommended shop by my insurance company) is guaranteed for life. You read that right! I am so happy with this shop. Very trustworthy. Awesome work. They have a lot of business and I can see why. read more

Just because a place has a five star rating does not mean that they won't try to rip you off. I went in to get an estimate for a few repairs and the person who greeted me looked at me as if he knew me and already disliked me. Not off to a good start. I asked him how much to replace a bumper and he said it would cost 400-500 dollars just for the bumper. I asked him for an estimate and he looked annoyed.... like I'm supposed to just leave my car there without knowing how much it was going to cost me. He tried charging me for a molding that was not even damaged... and the final preliminary estimate was $500+ more than the next most expensive estimate I received that day. What a crook. He also implied that the estimate would be more when he "finds" additional damage behind the bumper....right like a $5 clip which he would have probably charged me $200 for.... Most people probably give this place a good rating because their insurance company pays for the repairs. What they don't know is that they are probably being charged for things that don't need to be replaced and so they pocket that money when the difference should go to the customer. Avoid this place unless you like throwing away money.... There are tons of body repair shops around the area one of which charged me a whopping $700 less than Victory.... I would not go here even if it was the only auto body shop within 50 miles. read more

My car was struck in the rear in a hit and run, and my insurance recommended this shop as one of their preferred. Based on the glowing reviews, I gave it a try. I've been verbally battling the shop since I first brought the car in. The man doing the estimates and running the office has been pushy, hurried, and attempted to rush or bully me every step of the way. I haven't experienced any of the courtesy everyone else seems to. Every time I have a question (and I've only been asking basic, simple things, like "why does replacing a bumper take 2-3 weeks?") he's cut me off mid sentence, deluged me with rapid fire explanations that don't answer the question, and tried to walk away before he finished talking. The "shop manager" who's name I can't recall, however, has been great - patient, understanding, considerate, and actually going above and beyond to work with me and my insurance. He even gave me the direct contact for the auto-glass shop they use so I could take care of a few things on my own, and not pay their markup, in order to save me some money. Sadly, he only gets called in when the other staff get tired of my asking more than 1 question, or I ask them to do the things they promised a week prior - if I could deal with him direct all the time, I imagine I'd be leaving a 5 star review as well. read more

Hello fellow Yelper's ! I am not one of those people whose favorable critique is earned easily. So when I tell you that my experience with Victory Auto Body Shop and Armani in particular was truly as good as it gets, I mean it. I recently had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the most evil of all car accidents- (In my opinion anyways) the cowardly hit and run. In realizing that I was going to need to have a shop repair the cosmetic boo-boo to my car, I consulted our beloved Yelp.com. I found several reviews of Victory Auto Body all of which were glowing. I am merely here to add to that praise. Not only was the repair done to my satisfaction but Armani had his people do a once over on the whole car and filled or buffed out any other scratches or dings that were noticeable. Plus, I gave him a rather tough deadline, (4 days) and as a man of his word it was ready and waiting for me with a fresh coat of wax and sheen on the tires. It honestly looked as good as when I had picked it up new 3 years ago. If you find yourself in need of a first rate body shop, do yourself a favor and run don't walk to Victory Auto Body and feel confidant in putting yourself in Armani's more than capable hands. read more

Another VICTORY for "Victory Auto Body" I am the owner of a Honda Civic that I have had for 2 months now, Yes 2 months, on the second month of my ownership, my vehicle was in the hands of Victory Auto Body going under major body repairs. I was involved in a bad car accident and trying to decide where to take my new vehicle was not an easy decision. I was referral to some local auto body shops closer to home (El Monte) but I was not happy with the reviews. I asked my insurance for a complete list of body shops they worked with and I started researching them one by one. As you may know Victory Auto Body has great reviews and now I am also added to their list of 'a happy customer.' As most of us want to make a wise decision when taking our vehicles for repairs, which is why I am recommending this body shop. I could honestly say Victory Auto Body has been such a great pleasure working with. They work fast but the most importantly, they work WELL. So here is another VICTORY for this auto shop. P.s. There was something about the owners smile and her sons tone of voice that just put me at ease. I felt then my car was in good hands. read more

I'm going to pile on with the other 5 star reviews. Look, this is LA, you just don't expect good service anymore these days, but Victory AB blew my mind. I came in with a tall order. My car needed hood and bumper repairs done by close of business of the third day. Armani did not over promise that he could do it, but he said he would try. Guess what? He came through. Not only did he finish on time, but the quality of the work is amazing. The car looks like new and they even changed one of my head lights that I couldn't detect visible damage on. Still they dug into the guts and did things right. They could have bondo-ed over old crappier work but they made the right call and replaced parts. You just don't find this type of service in LA anymore. Some advice for new customers: - When you come in, be ready to make a decision. Armani runs a tight ship and it works best if you have some clear goals for the work you need done. - Get your insurance authorization to them before you come in. - Don't sweat things b/c you're in good hands. I was looking high and low for a great body shop to do quality work and I found just that. They've gone above and beyond with the work on my newly bought Honda Civic. Someone swiped my car on a hit and run situation so I went through insurance. Of course they have a set list of body shops with life-time warranty guaranteed. I chose Victory Auto and they did not disappoint. My car looks good as new. I also asked them to readjust my front bumper, and they said that wasn't a problem at all. My car suffered some deep scratches on the driver side front fender and door. The whole driver side mirror also had to be replaced. I always worry about putting recycled pieces on a newer car but it honestly looks good as new. The paint job is superb! Vanessa at one of the front desk was very kind and helpful. They run very efficiently! If you're looking for a shop to do top quality work, give them a try! P.S. After they've completed the body work, they detail the car with a wash, vacuum, and wax service. Had a fwy accident when an oldy guy slammed on his e500 mercedes brakes and needless to say I had to swerve but still clipped his back rear bumper.Of course I got the the worse of it! Just bought my Lexus too(*&&*%) My Insurance recommended a few places so I got on yelp and saw the great reviews. I called them and I was really surprised they were open on Saturdays. Of course I thought to myself pretty sweet to be open on wknds considering my busy schedule and all. So I went on a Sat. morning and not more than a minute did Mr. A(Armani) ask me what could he do for me. I told him Mercury Ins. told me his shop work was Guaranteed then he got Mr. V to take care of me. Rest is history!!Mr. V(Victor) gave me quote,estimate of how long. Quote was just a $100 something off and got my car 3days early. Very impressed!! Car looked better than when I bought it! I was referred here by my insurance since it was one of three recommended body shops. Customer service was great. These reviews were to good for it to be true. Took my car in and they fixed the damages. After couple months, my car has been basically falling apart. The bumper is cracking from the paint job. Took the car back to them for another inspection and was told that I'm responsible for the cracking. I have pictures of the scratch before it started cracking a day after I picked it up. They don't want to own up to their mistake, I get it hence why I will not be giving them any more business. Besides the cracking, the right side of the car doesn't line up like the left side does. There is also paint cracking on top of the headlight. I'm 100% sure that me driving had nothing to do with all the cracking. Well,...what can I say? I initially found this place on Yelp & found out it had so many great ratings that I must admit I gave it a try. The 1st person I came across was Harry (owner of the shop), who is such a sweet & friendly gentleman. He advised me that the work (hit & run that was done on my Civic... resulting in scratch & part of broken backlight) would get done without a problem. Sure enough, I came across Armani (shop manager) who gave me an estimate of the days it would take to have it done. After I dropped it off, I was asked if I needed a rental, & within literally 10 minutes, a person from Enterprise came in to pick me up & take me to the car rental ctr. On the 5th day, my car was ready for pick up & the work they did was great!! You couldn't even notice that there was a scratch on it. In 2012 while at Disneyland with my family, when we were parked at our hotel some one backed into our brand new car that we had just bought only a few months prior and made a huge dent in our door, it was horrible. Thank goodness we had car insurance and they told us we could go to the Victory Auto Body shop to get the repairs. It was handled fast and when they said it would be ready and the car looked brand new again!! you couldn't tell anything had happened!! All their repairs are lifetime warranty! Three years later - right before Christmas again someone rubbed against the car while I was parked, leaving a huge scratch. again went to this place and it was fast and looked new again! like nothing happened! Additionally, the original repair from 2012 seemed to have something coming loose from normal use of the car and they fixed it free of charge! These guys are friendly and reliable.
