I had the absolute time celebrating my birthday on a Saturday night at your wonderful establishment! First and foremost, I love that Vidorra is located just outside the heart of the all the harbor, making traffic and parking a breeze. It was such a relief not to have to worry about these logistics on such a special night. I want to extend a huge thank you to your fantastic manager, Alex. He was super kind and accommodating when I called weeks in advance to make a reservation for eight people on a Saturday night. Everything was perfectly organized, and we were promptly seated upon arrival. The ambience at Vidorra was simply enchanting! The place was brimming with great photo opportunities, allowing us to capture some truly memorable moments. The drinks and food were spot on; they absolutely hit the mark. Our server, Jay, was phenomenal. From offering great suggestions to making sure we were well taken care of, Jay truly added to the exceptional experience. Finally, Rockwall has a spot open past 10 o'clock serving legit, bomb-ass food--and I couldn't be happier. The atmosphere is awesome, and if you've just been bouncing between places like Manny's or Casa Mama... you're seriously missing out. I stopped by the bar for a quick bite and was lucky enough to be served by Maria. She was on it--prompt with my drink, got my food order in right away, and checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Honestly, I don't know where they found her, but she's a total rockstar behind the bar. Watching her work is like watching a magician--fast, smooth, and entertaining. If you go, do yourself a favor and ask for Maria. Management even stopped by to check on me, which just shows the level of care they're putting into this place. And let me just say--the chips and salsa are dangerously good. The smoky spice they use is addicting. I'm pretty sure I'll gain 11 1/2 pounds just from going back over and over again for that alone. I want to begin by expressing my appreciation for the exceptional service I received. Isabel was incredibly helpful, attentive, and delightful. However, I must address the disappointing food quality. The portions were significantly smaller than expected. I found myself questioning my eyesight as the portions were so tiny. While I would definitely return for Isabel's exceptional service, I would not choose the food again. The only item I would recommend is the queso. However, the tacos were too small, the side of beans was also small, and the rice was simply overwhelming. As a big back, I find it hard to believe that these small tacos would satisfy me. I would need at least ten of them to feel full. I believe that portion sizes should be improved, as I don't even think kids would be satisfied with there meals. I would suggest that customers sit at the bar where Isabel is located, as she truly deserves the recognition she receives. read more

I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening with a party of 12. Despite calling ahead a couple of times, we were surprised to find there was no waitlist available, and we ended up waiting for over an hour to be seated. Once we were in, the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The waitress who served us did a fantastic job--she was friendly, attentive, and handled our large group with ease. Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. While everyone in our group agreed the fajitas were the best part of the meal, the rice and beans were barely touched. After just one bite, all 12 of us decided they simply weren't edible. In summary: great service and a nice atmosphere, but the quality of the food--aside from the fajitas--was lacking. If improvements are made in the kitchen, this place has the potential to be much better. read more

Food is excellent! They have vegetarian options like the spinach enchiladas which are cheesy and fresh. I also ordered the cheese enchiladas, nachos & guacamole (perfect) and a big bean and cheese burrito to take home. The dessert was churros for me and the Bailey cheesecake for my sister. Cheesecake was yummy! Churros were warm and tasted like they had been cooked to order. I have nothing bad to say, since even the chips were so delicious that I didn't stop eating them! The green salsa was amazing! Waitress was so nice, I swear she must have been a wonderful person inside because it totally seemed natural. Great food, seating was fast even though it was busy. Came here soon after they opened. Located near the harbor district, the good thing about this location is that they have ample parking, which is otherwise a nightmare at the harbor. We joined the waitlist remotely and were seated promptly upon our arrival. The outdoor seating has lovely natural light and a very tropical/garden vibe, I loved it! It was an enclosed area so you don't get any outside wind. We were seated promptly but I think our server forgot about us. After a few allpologies, we finally ordered out food- we got two molcajetes. Food came out quickly and was served hot. It was a lot of food and although the flavors weren't anything too new or exciting, we enjoyed our meal. We would return for the nice atmosphere and food, but service probably needs to work out a few kinks. read more
