They were unresponsive. There was a truck in the parking lot, but no sign on any of the surrounding buildings.

From the very beginning, the process felt easy. I reached out for a consultation and got a call back within about 10 minutes. The office team was incredibly friendly and flexible with scheduling. Our sales rep, John, was fantastic. He took the time to walk us through all our options, explain the installation process, and answer every question we had. Since this is such a big investment, we were nervous, but he made us feel confident in our decision (especially compared to Pella). Installation day went just as smoothly. The crew showed up right on time, was very respectful of our home (booties, cleaning as they worked), and did everything they could to minimize disruption. We have a cat, and they were so accommodating, working room by room so we could keep her calm and safe. Sky even brought her treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. They worked efficiently, were as quiet as possible, and cleaned up as much as you realistically can after a big job like this. We also appreciated that multiple team members stopped by throughout the day to check in and make sure we were happy. Overall, we felt really well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Woodruff!

From Lori R in sales (great follow up), Mike in Service (saved our project - our hero), Traci in Scheduling (nicest!!) and Paola and Steven in finishing, they all have been incredible. Steven and Paola are the hardest working team and did an outstanding job finishing off the doors and windows. I can't thank them enough. If you are on the fence about a door and window company, don't second guess, they are worth every penny you spend!

It took weeks to set up a service call to repair the repair. As the day aproached a dear friend died. We tried several times a day to reach someone to reschedule - no luck. Left lots of messages. They called in the middle of the funeral wanting to know why no one was home. The service tech patched on place on the door - the most obvious one and didn't repair the other places. More weeks to set up another service call. Sure enough an other person milestone ended up on the day. So, the wife stayed home and missed the event. No one showed up. No one called to say they couldn't make it. Just left her there all day when she really wanted to be at the event. There is literally nothing that would let us recommend this company.

Five stars for Hawkins Siding! I recently hired Hawkins Siding and Exteriors for a full exterior…read moreupdate following a terrible job by another contractor, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Tyler and his team were professional and incredibly helpful when I had questions. They installed new Hardie siding and trim, new gutters, and painted. There were issues with the framing and the fact that I had no insulation but they didn't just cover up the issues like the other contractor --they fixed them right and I was so pleased with the outcome that I asked them to paint my garage to match the house. I highly recommend Hawkins for anyone looking for reliable exterior work. The pricing was competitive, the crew was dependable, kept the jobsite impressively clean, and the quality of work is excellent. It's rare to find a contractor in DFW who delivers exactly what they promise on schedule and within budget. If you want quality craftsmanship and a stress-free experience, I highly recommend Hawkins!

Imagine hiring a contractor to improve your home, then discovering after the crew leaves that newly installed exterior doors cannot reliably lock, storm doors lack functioning handles or locks, and some entrances cannot be used normally. Now imagine realizing this while your child sleeps inside. Our project involved five exterior doors, four storm doors, James Hardie siding, and closing an exterior window. At one stage, three of four storm doors lacked essential operating hardware. We had to ask: Can we secure our home tonight? Could we use these doors during an emergency? Is our child safe? We could not postpone urgent corrections indefinitely while the owner blocked us, so on our own, we hired consultants to investigate the concerns and offer recommendations. The project was expected to be completed March 16-20, 2026, but remained unresolved months later. Hawkins continued demanding $9,577.20, which we disputed based on incomplete work, corrective costs, credits, reduced scope, and the undelivered door. Because of Hawkins lack of quality control in all aspects of its business, poor documentation and communication, and the countless risks associated with their unacceptable quality of workmanship, we hired consultants and other contractors, involved attorneys, disputed the balance, and completely lost trust & confidence. Don't make the same mistake no matter how "nice" the sales guy seems.
