Came here for famous dog but is too early. Only available after 11. Have breakfast BLT and omelet with coffee and not disappointed at all. Food is fresh and service is great and all for $17. Actually went back after 11 to grab chili dogs and chili mac for take out.

THE place to go in Vienna for straight-forward food, cold beer, and great service... at very reasonable prices. Hasn't changed in decades - and makes it feel like home. If you're looking for fine dining or fancy cocktails - plenty of other options in the area... this isn't your place

A staple of Vienna, VA, you know this dive bar if you're a local resident or a sucker for cheap chili cheese dogs and beer. And that's what this place does. It knows what it is and hasn't changed since it's opening which gives it a special appeal. If you're looking for this spot to be a pristine shiny bright bar like Cheers, well, that's not it's style. It's a bit dark with the chess/checkered floor tiles with tables all around surrounding the bar area. But you do get a Cheers vibe with all the locals/regulars who stop in here for quick eats. As mentioned in previous reviews, all the servers are usually college students who make sure your beer is filled and you've had enough to eat. Eats start and end with their hot dogs, usually with chili and cheese if you're being proper. It's not the greatest chili cheese dog and sometimes you may wonder why you're ordering it. But the price and nostalgia always hit the spot and the taste reminds you why you're in here. Other eats I recommend are the wings (surprisingly good) and the fried zucchini (always eat your veggies!). Beer is either domestic or local brews that are Vienna Lager. Served in those classic cold mugs, the 80's-90's bar vibes hit once you pick it up and sip from it. Plus they are affordable compared to other places so that's a win in my book. As for other beverages, they have a serve-yourself soda station so you can get as many fills your stomach can handle. I make it a priority to stop here whenever I'm passing through Vienna and you should as well. Don't expect anything boujee; just enjoy a beer and a chili cheese dog here and call it a day. Read less

Fun spot. Chili is decent. Local divey vibe and tons of regulars who seem to be known by name when they enter. No prices on the menu and you tell the cashier what you had on the way out. Nonalcoholic drinks are self service. Odd but it works though they don't really explain it, so if you're a first timer you've got to figure all this out on your own for the most part. Unlikely to return though given the political sign on their front door.

I have been going to the Vienna Inn for a number of years for everything from breakfast to cold brews to a place to watch a game. I decided it's time to post. If you're not paying attention in the car you'll miss it. Small location and small parking lot. I was thinking about a burger and a cold one so I'm sitting at the counter ordering up. The tap is right there, ice cold Yuengling and a cheeseburger with FF. Medium well for the cooking time. The game is on and I'm relaxing enjoying the atmosphere. The building is original to the open date in 1960. It's a Mom and Pop place that has a friendly people working there. My burger comes up with the french fries and and I dig in. The chili dogs are very good as well. Cold brew and chili dogs...solid! Definitely worth the visit before the town of Vienna wants to sieze the land and build a high rise or something.

    The best hot dogs!

By far, my favorite hot dogs of all time are here! I Always get two chili, cheese, mustard. The chili is very smooth with just the right amount of spice. The cheese is a sauce. It's magic and a good amount. The mustard is brown and it just rolls into the other flavors perfectly. The dogs come out in those little, white cardboard vessels. Eating one takes a certain technique so there is no spillage. It's tricky business! You can feel the weight when you pick it up and you need two hands! Turn it with one end aimed at your mouth and bam! All those flavors kick in! OMG! Heaven.

First thing I notice was how laid back and cozy this place looked. The staff were dressed in normal clothes and were very welcoming. The either scene felt like you could stay there all day with your favorite group of people. Went with the beer flights and fish and chips. The waiter suggested to try their award winning beer as one of the choice and I see why it was top tier . The food was fresh and delicious and overall had a great time. Parking could have been better and the location was odd but it's very minor things compared to the actual establishment. I highly recommend.

FIRST: no-one wants to see your kids at a brewery. If you do bring them do not sit in the bar area and they should not impact anyone else's time. Caboose really should limit "who" can sit in the limited table areas within the bar area. So frustrating to want to relax with a drink, and kids are howling. It is way overpriced to be a dinner/ food spot. The occasional snack...sure. I think the beers would be better with more focus. There are a lot of beers (plus coffee bar, plus constantly rotating menu etc) and editing or more of a seasonal focus ex: darks in winter, pils in summer. the staff is always smiling and gracious. Just based on turn over, I sense there are some challenges/ lack of organization. The bar staff is great and my favs. I do avoid on the weekends during good weather. Just because of the crowds.

I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

For entrees we got the pork chop and the halibut. The pork chop was a decent sized potion and cooked PERFECTLY. The halibut was smooth as butter but wasn't a very large entree, so I wouldn't recommend if you are super hungry, but if you're not, it's very flavorful and delicate! I had not seen this dear friend for over a year and so we met in the lobby and decided to just "stay in" and enjoy Entyse. Narciso, who took care of us, was just fantastic--kind, funny, polite, and just the right amount of attentive. When we mentioned it was a little bit of a reunion for us, he immediately moved to make the evening special. Extra this and extra that started showing up at the table. The wine pours were so generous we joked we would have to stay for hours. A gorgeous dessert showed up out of the blue with Narciso smiling behind it. When we asked how long he had been with the Ritz and he told us at least two decades, we were not surprised, given his professional grace and ease. As soon as we entered, General Manager Sam welcomed us like old friends. After we were seated, my wife asked if he had previously worked at The Dabney, and sure enough, that's where we recognized him from. It was great catching up as he shared what he'd been doing since then and how his dream had always been to open his own restaurant. Seeing that dream come to life made the evening feel even more special. The restaurant was busy (definitely make reservations), but we were able to enjoy cocktails while we waited for our table. My Grey Goose martini with bleu cheese olives was phenomenal and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We started with the Bison Tartare and the Ceviche. The bison tartare was leaner than traditional beef tartare, and the crispy chips added the perfect savory crunch. The ceviche was incredibly fresh and bright. For our entrées, I had the ribeye while my wife ordered the Dory. The ribeye was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My wife couldn't stop talking about how buttery and delicious the fish was. To finish the evening, we ordered the 100-Year Port Flight featuring 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-year ports. Vertical tastings are such a fun way to experience how a wine evolves over time. The 40-year was absolutely outstanding, and the 20-year was another favorite. The 10-year was enjoyable but still showed its youthful character compared to the older vintages. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and relaxed. The main dining room can feel a little tight when the restaurant is full, while the bar area has a few TVs for anyone wanting to catch a game. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the women's restroom being stocked with amenities like hair ties and hair clips. We noticed they also offer a tasting menu, and after this experience, that's already on our list for our next visit. Between the outstanding hospitality, exceptional food, excellent cocktails, and welcoming atmosphere, Evelyn Rose absolutely earned five stars.
