We had an amazing meal there after our annual NAPA visit. The phở tái was very satisfying with an abundance of tender meat and rich dark broth without the MSG !!!!! We also had a wonderful bowl of Bún Bò Huế. The owner was from Huế and he this entrée had the authentic flavor. The smoothie ( mango and strawberry) were tasty and naturally sweet without added sugar. The owners were very attentive and actually are the cooks. Limited menu and mediocre food. Most disappointing was the peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls. It was thin and lacked peanut flavor. I ordered the pho with prawns and rice noodles which wasn't that bad except the "prawns" were really shrimp and definitely not prawns which are clearly larger. False advertising and I would suspect all the other dishes which they use the term "prawns" are just the same. We will not be going back. read more

Sandwiches were all very flavorful. The bread was a little too crispy for my taste, and I wish there were a tad bit more veggies in mine, but otherwise very good. Both rolls were good as well. Really Really good Pho! I frequent a lot of Pho spots and this one is my new favorite in Vallejo. The broth is flavorful and delicious every time. Sometimes when you go to a spot their broth is too clear and watery, but not this place. Also, I really like how they season the broth. The noodles have never been overcooked, my pet peeve. The meat and veg are very fresh. When you drive up to the restaurant it doesn't have any frills, it is just an unassuming little cozy restaurant. The owner is friendly and recognizes me every time and thanks me for my business. I rarely write reviews but I really want to get the word out about this place because it is so new and I know it can be hard just starting out as a new restaurant. Very rich broth in their pho but the meat portions are small and a bit skimped out. I do hope to see a change in that as their business grows. The service isn't to complain about given that it's a small family owned business. Mixture of those fixed slide in restaurant seat/tables and regular tables with chairs. Owner operator is a young Vietnames couple with a newborn who is onsite during the day. There is a Vietnamese TV feed with traditional music playing. Service was great, the husband cooks and serves it up with a smile and friendly, casual demeanor. The wife handles the front for phone calls, POS and customer front end. All with the baby either in hand or nearby. Oh yeah, try the avocado smoothie. Yes, they also have boba! read more

The place is small, but it's clean, which is a major plus. The place was not busy, which may be why there was just one server, who I think was also the chef and the cashier.
