I just started to business with the business a few months ago when I bought my condo. I went with them because they had the best prices and good reviews. I could not be happier with my choice. I called them for service once and they were here without a hour. They fixed it temporarily and ordered me a part. The next day the part came in and the installed in that day. I then had them install a new cooling compression and coil. Again they had the best price. I gave them the go head and they installed it the next day. Terrible service, they came out and instead of fixing the problem, they said to replace the entire system. The next company came out and replaced the zone valve and my problem was solved. Viglione is charging me $186.11 for coming out and doing nothing but saying replace it. I was told that it would be $100. If I didn't use them. Now I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company! read more

For 10+ years we have had Viglione repair, replace and install new AC systems at our house. Our new split Mitsubishi system installed 4 years ago (spent $18K) has never really been right, many leaks in the piping which connects 3 units to the main condenser. We did not wish to wait till end of their season for a nitrogen test and then repair, which their tech told us in mid June. So 2 weeks ago (July 7th) we visited Steve the president. He promised Brian, his best tech would come out and resolve the issue. Still waiting 2 weeks now to hear back for even an appointment. Nothing. We would not recommend them. Very disappointed and disillusioned. Fed up and considering filing a lawsuit. read more

Go with someone else. Viglione does not honor their warranty nor does the cheap manufacturer they use for air conditioning. They claim they register the product for you however when something goes wrong with the unit, amazingly you are not in the company's system. My unit broke 1 year before the warranty ran out and both the manufacturer and Viglione refused to honor the warranty, claiming it was never registered. Viglione wanted to charge me 80% or the original purchase price to fix one part. Go with a more reputable company that stands by their work or at least is willing to honor a warranty. read more

Viglione replaced my entire heating and air conditioning system a few years ago. Their price was good, the work was done expertly and without incident, and I was happy. I have been signing an annual service contract and they do a good job of checking, diagnosing, and repairing issues. Expedience is not their strong suit though. It took several weeks to get a defect fixed that they detected in a routine check. I also discovered to my dismay that THEY IGNORE calls to their EMERGENCY line on weekends. As a senior citizen I can do without the anxiety that engendered. read more

Made an appointment over a month ago for last Friday to service our furnace. They called that morning to say their tech called in sick and we have to reschedule. So I said ok, didn't complain and made an appointment for a week later. So a week later, day of 2nd scheduled appointment, Someone called me hours after they opened to say they were canceling again, that 2 techs called in sick. Didn't sound that sorry and talked over me. Clearly something is going on with this company , would not recommend using them. read more

Had an AC issue during the summer and they could not have been more responsive until the problem was resolved. Now we having a heating and hot water issue and no follow up. Tech came over for annual routine maintenance and discover we had a crack in the heat exchanger and would have to turn off the boiler. He stated he would look into options and get back to us. No response from them so I called and he never told anyone- just added a note in the file. I learned this when I call to see what they could do and it being a Friday they said they could not do anything until Monday. Monday has come and gone with no response and no heat and hot water for 4 days. I don't think this is how u should treat a couple of 70 year olds who have been loyal customer for yrs. Finally took matters into my own hands and called boiler manufacturer to discuss issue and review options. Was told boiler was 14 yrs old with 1 yr left on the warranty. My option were to repair/replace heat exchanger or get a new boiler. Not sure why I could get this info with a quick call and they could not. Bottom line I ordered a new boiler and having it installed in 24 hrs by another contractor. Not sure why they dropped the ball on this one but am not happy I had to take this one to make sure we have heat and hot water in November read more

My best advice is to stay clear of using Viglione. Had Steve come out to look at my heating & AC unit because it was still not working after multiple service calls to fix the same issue (this was in early July). He left stating, "we need to get you a whole new unit." Four weeks went by and I heard nothing. So followed up AGAIN and in speaking to Steve he had NO RECOLLECTION of even being at my house 4 weeks earlier (are you kidding me??). So he come out again, looks at the unit and said I'll have Dave follow-up with you. Guess what? I never heard from Dave. So here I sit on November 1st with a non-functioning unit (again) for an issue that I first called them on at the beginning of July, noting that when I went to use the unit in July this was the first time I attempted to use it after my last $400 repair bill. HORRIBLE is the only way to describe my multiple experiences in using Viglione. The only reason I even gave them a 1 star rating is because you can't post a review without selecting a review rating. read more

Had AC and Furnace replaced recently by Viglione H&C and couldn't have been more impressed with the process. Nick & Yohance came on time, were very professional, put paper down the hallway and stairs to protect my hardwood floors and explained what they were going to do before they started. They worked hard all day and were so polite. While the price tag for the replacement system was high, the service was worth every penny. Would definitely recommend Viglione for AC and Furnace! We found water in the basement under our furnace 2 days before Christmas, with our children and grandchildren here for a visit! Chelsea in the office found a technician who could come to the house that afternoon. Sal arrived soon after, and fixed our problem quickly and efficiently. We were so relieved! My parents recommended that I use Viglione since they used them for years when they owned their house (from the 80's!) After my AC unit died, Chris from Viglione came out to give us a price and promised to squeeze us in and as soon as the unit came in and as soon as he possibly could. In the meantime my 2nd unit broke down. Mark came out the next day and said we needed to order a piece for it - 5 days later the piece came it and it was installed and my 2nd ac was back to working again! And the next day, right after the 2nd AC was fixed, the new unit was installed by Frank and Nick who were very friendly and professional and did a great job. Sal came to do a regular heating check-up for me. I mentioned my AC condensate pump might not be working since I recently noticed water on the floor. He first thought the pump was broken and was going to replace it. He discovered it was just a clogged line, and went with the straight simple solution. I can't comment on the work they do, because I'm sure it's fine, but the people who work in the office are the crabbiest, least helpful a-holes in the world. When you give someone a service window of "between 1 and 5" and tell them to call on the morning of said service for a better idea, how about you try not to sound like I'm asking you the most unreasonable thing ever. Make a tiny effort to keep the hatred out of your voice. Most importantly, DON'T HANG UP ON YOUR CUSTOMERS. I would think that wouldn't need to be said, but with these clowns, it does. We had our central air installed 9 years ago by this company, and were pleased with the system and service. We have been loyal customer for the last 9 years, having service contracts for most of those years. Our system broke down about 6 weeks ago, and they have been terribly unresponsive to our need for service. It has been over 5 weeks and we still haven't gotten a quote for the parts and repair we need! They do not return our calls, and have made it clear they have no desire to fix the system they installed. We are so frustrated and disappointed. We have 3 children in a renovated attic that is unlivable without AC. We explained the situation, and they had no concern for our situation. They seem to only be interested in new installs and not supporting loyal customers in need of repair on the equipment they installed. Viglione and co has been around for decades now and barely needs a review here. Just ask around and I guarantee you that you know someone who has used them in the past. My husband and I had AC installed by these guys and they did a fantastic job. Our house was somewhat difficult to get it installed, but Mr. Viglione figured out an efficient, affordable way it could be done. Another company we contacted wouldn't even bother giving us a quote because they said it couldn't be done due to the layout of our house! Kevin and Mateo who did the installation were very competent and thorough in answering any questions we had during the process. At the end of the day, they never left a mess and aside from the installation steps, you'd never know they had been there. Prices were reasonable considering the job, and overall we couldn't be happier. read more

I had work done several years ago and it was done well but come to find out they never pulled a permitt for the work they did and it's a nightmare bc I'm selling my house. When I called to question it they acted like I was the one who did something wrong and never apologized for their mistake. I would never recommend them. If you have a choice, DO NOT use these people! I had a boiler installed 8 weeks ago. Five days ago my boiler stopped working. I called. They told me to reset it. It did not work. I called again. They sent someone out and it still did not work. Service workers have been to my house FOUR TIMES! My house did not have heat while it was -7 degress outside and NO ONE offered us space heaters. Now, I am at day FIVE of no heat. A pipe in my kitchen now burst because of the freezing temperatures and the cold house. In the 10+ years that I have lived in my house I have NEVER had a pipe burst. My family was freezing so we had to vacate the house. While I have asked for a new system, they are dragging their feet on installing a new system. This company is HORRIBLE!!! read more

He certainly knew I was shopping around for the best price, equipment, and service, like all homeowners do. Kurt Menosky went above and beyond what any salesman would to make sure I was getting the absolute best deal around. Other companies will skimp hear and there to save themselves a few bucks,leaving you with the headache later on. And most salesman are in and out and you never hear from then again. But Kurt is different, he will walk you through the process form beginning to end, and will certainly follow up with any questions or concerns you might have. He believes that a job should be done right the first time, like I do. He is incredibly patient, educated, and knows his products inside and out. He will certainly make sure you are getting the proper equipment, thats suitable for your house. On the day of the installation, the installers were very friendly, and also addressed any concerns I had. In my case, I simply asked them to replace a couple of the flexible ducts that I were sure were leaking, located in the attic, and basement. They did so without any hesitation!
