I would live here. :-) The staff are professional and well organized. KUDOS goes to Kelly, Kim, Kaitlin! TOP TOP Notch! These pros helped me transition from SNF to Felicita Vida. Everything went smooth. Only time will tell, but I have faith in these people and in Felitica Vida. Mom said "I am going to live here forever". That makes me sad and happy at the same time. Mike, the owner, and his staff went beyond the call of duty to make her feel comfortable during her stay. They prepared her favorite foods, provided entertainment, not to mention the beautiful park like surroundings that gave her comfort in her last stage of life. The home is immaculate and the furnishings are much nicer than any other home that I reviewed prior to selecting Park View. I rarely give five stars to anything but this facility deserves it.

We put my 99 year old mother in law into Annie's place several months ago. We had been getting up…read moreat all hours of the night and couldn't keep doing it. Annie's place has been a blessing. The owner and staff are marvelous. She gets lots of personal attention as it's a smaller facility. There's a lot of activity going on for a 99 year old. They had a musician come last week, and she was up dancing( w help of course). She needs assistance to walk anywhere, and they give it to her. She needs help in the bathroom and gets showers and is clean. She likes the food, it is fresh, prepared well, and full of natural and organic options. She loves it. It is very clean, and a very positive, loving environment. My wife and I highly recommend it for a loved one needing care and attention.

Although the facility is VERY nice, I was really surprised to see he was given a plate with several different types of foods mixed together. He kept asking what this was and what that was, and then he refused to eat. What really surprised me was that this is a facility that caters to older people. Gee, doesn't everyone know that children and very elderly people don't like their foods all mixed together? People like to identify what they're eating and the person who has dementia can't remember what all the foods are (and that they're safe to eat) if you can't identify them. It's just too confusing and it's one more bump in the road they don't deserve!

The place is clean and there seems to be a lot of activities available. I've eaten at their dining hall a few times, and it's pretty good. Smaller portions. You can always order more food. Note that you (family members) get free food the first week of your relatives' stay. Then you have to buy a food ticked at the front desk. It's not located in a sketchy part of Escondido, but it's also next to a busy street. Staff members seem to know everyone's name by heart.
