I had dinner at Café 100 10100 Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles. Since I had to leave another café due to unforeseen circumstances, I ate dinner at this café. The place was nice and clean. They had done a remodel recently so the place looked new inside. The cashier was nice & friendly as was the staff. My Entrée: Chicken Sandwich; chicken breast, tomato, lettuce, avocado, cheese and mayo on toasted wheat bread. Delicious! I drank raspberry tea with my meal. For dessert: Oatmeal raisin walnut bar and a Kind bar of nuts & spices. I drank raspberry tea with my dessert. I thank management for allowing me to take some photos. This is the WORST Cafe EVER!!! First of all, many people in my office get sick from their food. Idk if they don't wash their lettuce or maybe it's the eggs and bacon that sit out all morning with no covering. Tag Dept. of Health. This was my experience- I ordered a wrap and asked them to add chicken- the posted menu says "Add tofu or chicken- $3.25" directly under the "Salads and Wraps" section. I go to the register and the wife tells me she will be charging me $4.25 for added chicken- I tell her that her posted menu says $3.25 and she argues with me. She then follows me to the menu, sees the $3.25 and argues again that the price only applies to the salads and not the wraps. Every time I've been to Cafe 10100, I hear her "nickel and diming"everyone. Once I ordered no cheese and they put cheese on. She charged me for the cheese when it was their mistake. This is such bad business to argue with a customer over your clearly posted prices plus it's illegal to charge anything but the posted prices. She is SO RUDE and I will never go back there. When I asked the owner, she was very rude and said she wouldn't give me more chicken. I saw her cutting two big pieces of chicken and serving my coworker. On top of that, their handling of the situation was extremely rude. It's not the first time I've seen them be rude to people. She just said they can't do that and when I asked why she said that's too much work and they are too busy and hung up on me! We can all do well without the rudeness. So Cafe 100 does something special on Thursdays, they get a grill outside at the Farmers Market and they make Korean BBQ. And it's delicious. They have bbq chicken, spicy chicken, bulgogi, and spicy pork belly. All plates are served with rice, salad and kimchi. The prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of food that you get. So if you are in the area this is one of the stands to go to. Haven't tried their normal food at the cafe but I might just do so soon. read more

PARKING : awful and expensive. This is food geared towards people who work in the building. It isn't the best food in the world but it is the best option but still tasty if you're on lockdown at your computer. There is a a DIY salad bar and you can pay $1.50 for some panned chicken. For those who work in the area, Cafe 100 is a great option for lunch or a snack. They have a very diverse menu, and everything is freshly cooked and delicious. On Thursdays they participate in the Century City Farmer's Market, selling Korean-inspired pork belly, chicken, and marinated beef. I think it's the best food vendor for the farmer's market! Back to the Cafe, they offer a rotating menu depending on the day of fresh-cooked food. Some of the special items are pretty inspired and surprising for a modest cafe; I think the 'chef' is pretty good. They also have a wide range of packaged snacks, fresh-cut fruit, salad bar, and beverages (from soda, to juice, to muscle milk!). This is a family-operated restaurant (the owner's are Frank and Heather, say hi!). I come here pretty regularly and have noticed that many of the patrons are regulars too. Frank/Heather love to chat with their patrons -- they give excellent service and are just wonderful people. Located in the lower floor of the 10100 building, you need to take the escalator or elevator down to the A-level to find the restaurant. It's not the snazziest interior, just a few tables in case you want to sit and eat immediately. Most will take their food back to their office to eat. I'd also recommend going upstairs to the courtyard, where there's ample seating with shade. In all, the price is right, the food is delicious, and the cooking is healthier than many of the new joints opening up in the Century City mall. Highly recommended! read more

I work in a neighboring building and I come to Cafe 100 as their food options are reasonably priced and tastes great. It is hard to find a cafe that offers various options for breakfast and lunch and snacks. The staff is great and the owner Heather & Frank are extremely caring when it comes to serving their food. On Thursdays, the restaurant participates in the Farmer's Market upstairs and serves Korean style BBQ for less than what you would pay at other vendors. The food is actually incredible. Their options include kalbi, spicy chicken, and Korean style pork belly. All of which are under $15, fresh and wonderful. Every time I go back to order seconds, they are sold-out! Cafe 100 offers specials throughout the year and has recently been improving their specials by offering local and healthier options. Last week, the served chili during the rainy weather, which was quite delicious. Another one of my favorite specials was the farrow bowl, which they sold for under $10. Other specials that I loved are the carne asada burrito, braised short rib bowl, tuna poke bowl and the chicken avocado sandwich. When great specials are offered, I would suggest trying them as they sell-out quite fast. Cafe 100 strives to offer reasonably priced meals that are delicious, local and healthy (if you wish) to their customers. I would definitely recommend Cafe 100 if you work in the area. read more

I work across the way from the 10100 building and have heard co-workers talk about Cafe 100 a lot... and I totally doubted them. I assumed it was like a Trimanna which, let's be real, isn't something to rave about. Cafe 100 is totally different! Well, I mean, it's similar in that it's on the bottom floor of a corporate building and target the workers around here, but they actually COOK their food (Trimanna doesn't cook... it... reheats... bleh) and I'm happy to report that it really is a hidden gem (thank you Yelp for convincing me to give it a shot). FOOD *I had the bibimbap (mixed rice + veggies) - I love that they offer brown rice and they're flexible in terms of the menu--you can get meat (the usual), tofu, or all veggies, as I did. I honestly think it was better than the bibimbap you can get at Bibigo across the street in the mall... more food, better quality, and cheaper too! *They have a really extensive menu that covers a variety of cuisines, and it rotates based on the day of the week. Best breakfast burrito in Century City. I got the chorizo, eggs, and salsa all smashed together in my stomach, so good. I enjoy coming here, a super convenient cafe in the 10100 building. so heres a solid little hole in the wall cafe if you work in the century city area. Ive been coming here for years and their food for the most part is pretty satisfying and good for a change. They have alot of daily special items like hawaiian bbq chicken, mac n cheese, enchiladas, various types of fish, etc. Then theres the regular items like their teriyaki chicken bowls, tuna melts, burgers, oh yeah, their fries for some reason are very tasty....similar to mcdonalds fries but definitely dont't have the secret crack that mcd's uses. =) i wouldnt go out of my way to go here but i figure i'm right next door so its not bad for a change in lunch. read more

It's located in the building right next to the farmer's market, so if you're walking from the North, don't go all the way around. The cafe is straight down the escalator and immediately to a small corner on the right. Tried the bibimbap special and from an ingredients perspective, it didn't seem much like a bibimbap to me. However, the portion was pretty large, (definitely larger than what Bibigo gives you in the mall food court.) The sauce used for the bibigo is too sweet and detracts from the flavor of everything else that's in the bowl. Totally a great place to get either breakfast or lunch! I work at the building next door and it is a great place to get some food. The price is reasonable, the choices are vast, and all the food taste awesome as well! Everyday the main menu is different so ask the cashier if you want to know what specific dish will be out on other days. The food comes out quick and the wait isn't too bad. One of my coworkers also ordered a grilled oriented dish and they cooked it right next to raw chicken... 2:I ordered enchiladas once from there and they put lasagna sauce on it due to it being so dry...Mexican and Italian food/condiments don't go together...EVER! 3:For this beautiful building there should be a higher quality food/restaurant like the other various buildings around here have with decent food i.e. Trimana, Cuvee, The Stand, Picnick etc.. 4:It's overpriced, a tuna melt and a cup of ramen/hot sour soup is $9.... I don't know how in the world this place has such good reviews or an A health score. This place is amazing, as is the ownership. They are happy to customize just about anything you want and the variety is like being at an international market filled with top cuisine. They sell slop! I have no doubt and believe I have experienced their offerings of repurposed foods. What is leftover from the day before is given a new role on the menu in some weird, scary dish. The chicken used in many dishes, whether it is the teriyaki or Hawaiian chicken or Spanish chicken, is dry, tough and chewy, nearly the consistency of jerky. One of the times I complained, I asked about the contents of a dish, the woman behind the cashier register arrives with her dirty, filthy hands and picks up a pan of food to inspect the ingredients for me. Among other things to be avoid are their Costco frozen hamburgers. In my office, it is not uncommon to hear a complaint about the place and a momentary boycott of the place. We are not fortunate in Century City, which is actually a corporate office park with eateries in the basement and ground floors of high-rent office buildings.The choices are packaged foods or something mixed up and cooked in someone's home and reheated when it arrives in the Century City establishment, since many of these places are not allowed to cook on a level to accommodate the demand. Understandably, unlike Downtown LA were better and well-established restaurants are/have been pressured to do better because of more accute competition, prices are lower and the food is more creative. More importantly, at least once, I have become sick from their concoctions of foodstuffs. That is considerable since I dine at other establishments frequently. Great food, great service. Breakfast choices abound and they will prepare as you request. If you can get Heather to make the Cobb Salad, it will be the best Cobb Salad you've ever had. I came later in the day and most of specials were sold out - understandable. But I asked what was available - the guy behind the counter replied with "I already told you... cold sandwiches". For what it is, it's the best one of its kind in the area, on par with the best food at the Westfield foodcourt. I like the food, service is great. Seating is basic cafeteria, but there's always a table. They serve curry chicken, spanish chicken, salmon plates, meatloaf plate, a great thick chicken vegetable soup and pea soup, a salad bar, atkins bars (which are hard to find), etc. They close pretty late in the day too, which is convenient.
