Ordered through Grubhub - food was delivered within the suggested timeframe that was stated after order was complete. Delivery guy was polite. Ordered: Grandmas pie - yikes..... basically flatbread. For it's miserable thickness it tasted ok but def lacked in texture. Fries - no fries ever taste great once boxed up. I knew what to expect so I can't complain about them. I can say they would taste great fresh at the restaurant. Cheesesteak - Not too bad. Bread was decent and there was a good amount of steak in it. Not the best but I would order it again. Will try a round pie and some other items. read more

Never tried this restaurant before and saw them on Grubhub so figured I'd give em a shot. The Italian Sub was perfect - crusty bread that's soft on the inside, plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. I asked for extra onions and they followed my request. Also got mozzarella sticks - those were okay, a little soft. Definitely plan on ordering from them again with the great sandwich. read more

This is probably one of my favorite pizza spots in the area. I'm a native New Yorker and travel to NY for work often. When I'm missing some good quality NY style pizza, this is my go-to spot. It's not just the pizza, they have an amazing burger with homemade buns and the pasta dishes are amazing. The chicken napoletano is to die for! You won't be disappointed. Pizza wasn't bad like all the other reviews expect you to believe. I actually enjoyed the pizza and the crust. I can't say the pizza was anything special, but it wasn't bad. Since I only ordered the pizza I can't say much about any other food they may offer. I did order delivery at the location I was at, at the time. It was pretty speedy. All in all, not a bad place. Becoming my new go to pizzeria for delivery!! 5 stars for the area. The margarita pie is excellent!! They make a nice NYC STYLE CRUST. Sometimes it arrives a little cold but that's ok, I reheat in the oven for 5 min. The sauce could use more garlic and Marizano tomatoes instead but that's a personal preference. I got a new menu in the mail for this eatery. I excitedly ordered with a bunch of guests at my house tonight. We spent close to $100 on various items offered on the menu. The verdict: horrible! The pizza was tasteless. The wings were gross. The salads a joke. I can eat just about anything and I threw the entire salad in the trash. The eggplant rollatini was ridiculous. Not one of my guests could eat their order. Steer clear of this place. The company that was there prior to this place was bad. Maybe the building is cursed. YUCK!!!!! read more

Not so good. All I want in a pizza place is, uhh, good pizza. I'm not freaked out by the prices, or the sheer number of available sides. Nope. Just: make the pizza great. And in this case, we ordered one large regular pie, and one of their thin-crust bar pies, just to compare. Both were very disappointing, for similar reasons. The thin-crust bar pie was made a pita-shell type crust. Yes, it was thin - but not crisp like you get in Philly, NY, NJ, etc. No Bueno. And the regular pie, same problem: the crust was awful. Too thick, undercooked, and it had lots of corn flower in it instead of a conventional crust (you can see this when biting through - it has a yellowish hue). Anyway, sauce & cheese were fine, but the crust is a deal breaker. AND....we tried the same approach a few months apart, just to see if they had an off night. Same issue, both times. read more

I give VIlla Grande 5 stars as it is way more than a really good pizza place. This family owned little find (brothers cooking, sister waits on tables mostly) makes a great Chicken Parmesan, great eggplant salad (with great grilled chicken if you wish- my preference), great fresh hot rolls with dipping oil, great hot sandwiches, even great French fires and fresh filled Canolis. If in the area you need to stop. It is a BYOB, so you can bring your favorite wine, beer, etc and enjoy a meal in their eating area, nothing fancy- but great for families, friends etc. read more

WOW really great Pizza, I come to PA a lot and almost always stop by Villa Grande to get some dinner or lunch. The staff is really nice and the food is even better Real New York Style Pizza which is hard to find in Bath, PA. The Entrees are amazing I feel like I'm eating at a 5 Star Italian restaurant when I come here, yet the prices are half the price. 6 stars. read more

This is a review for the new Catasauqua location. Went in on Valentine's day for the first time. The waitress was either new that day, or on some serious downer medication. She didn't know any of the menu and was unable to answer any questions. We had to ask if we could order apps. We had to ask her if there were any specials. She wrote our order down word for word...taking forever. She brought our apps and salads out at all different times. 4 people at our table and staggered food delivery...odd. No refills on our drinks offered, and when I asked for an iced tea refill...the waitress brought it back warm...no ice. She overcharged for a side salad and an entrée that should have been a special. At that point the meal was dragging so much from the poor service, we didn't question the bill, left cash and took off. Aside from the poor service, the food was delicious. Finally...good Italian food in Catsauqua. The cooks knew what they were doing. The marinara was spot on, the entrees were nice sized portions with plenty of leftovers to take home. We will definitely eat here again, but it will be take out until the wait staff improves. read more

I was in the restaurant and the way they treated their staff was ridiculous...yelling and screaming left and right...not a way to get customers or employees...pizza is horrible...not enough kitchen staff ...they told m on the phone for pick up 15 minutes I went to pick up the food and it wasn't even started...need more delivery drivers on weekends I should not have to wait 2 hours to get my food delivered. read more

I ordered three items at 11:40 for lunch and it was going to take an HOUR for delivery so I picked it up. The order consisted of one wrap and two salads. The salads were the same but one was ordered without onions. They both came without onions and neither had the olives. After my lunch was over (I did not eat mine as I do not like salad without onions, I tried) and I got back to my desk I called to complain. I got no apology just excuses. He offered to make another salad but I couldn't go so he offered to bring it. I said just bring onions I'd be happy. They rather quickly delivered another salad buried in OLD onions. The woman that gave me my order was extremely nice. Only good thing I can say about it. I will never eat there again even if it was free. They ticked me off for the second time and I don't give three tries. read more
