    Grilled Ribeye Steak Panini Lunch
    Darren G.

Went here to order to go lunch. Staff was very friendly and polite, I made my order and even before asking they told me how long was the wait. That's something I do appreciate a lot, since places you have ask or they tell you a vague idea so if there wrong you don't complain. The grilled rib-eye steak panini was something else, steak was cooked middle well, but seasoned perfectly and I love they got grill marks well without any over charing. Mushroom and onions were cooked on point and very caramelized. Garlic knots were good, like parm and garlic toppings on them and knots themselves were slightly chewy and marinara dipping was nice and smooth. My plain slice pizza was great, not greasy and great cheese to sauce ratio. The chicken soup I got in place of fries was only negative, not much chicken, veggies were not cooked though and broth was tasteless. Otherwise an awesome lunch

Drained tuna- no Mayo and Dry as can be.

Such a bummer. We ordered from this place last week- the food wasn't bad. Decided to order again today- and had a completely different experience. As a local small business owner myself, having a meal delivered is sometimes the highlight of our day. Today I ordered the tuna salad lunch special, and the tuna was gross- super fishy, no Mayo, and super late. It was Dry and unappetizing to say the least. The side salad we ordered was a joke. A few pieces of lettuce and and fixings thrown together. We tried to call and let the business know (RESPECTFULLY) and the reply we got from the young lady on the phone was "oh... yeah... sorry about that" No trying to make anything right, just complete disregard and terrible customer service. We will not be ordering again.

Enjoyed a delightful lunch at this comfy restaurant while visiting my mom in the area. You can walk in for a slice at the counter, or have table service in the dining room. Decided on a late Saturday lunch and no one was in the dining area so we had the place to ourselves. One server was working between the counter and the dining room and she was delightful - sorry cannot remember her name. My mom loves baked clams and was in awe with the fresh garlic and butter sauce for these babies. I tried the huge appetizer of eggplant rollatini, calamari, baked clams and shrimp along with a green salad to feel somewhat healthy for this New Year. All super filling and satisfying.

last night I picked up the worst dinner from you. I was so surprised. we dine there often. I love your lemon chicken dinner special. I would have come into to dine but I have bronchitis. When I called to place my order, I described exactly what I wanted to the young lady on the phone. She had said it was chicken Francese. I explained it was similar but had mushrooms and the chicken was cut into smaller pieces. After being put on hold several times, she came back said she knew what I wanted and all was good. When I came to pick up my order, questioned the young man who cashed me out because it read "chicken francese". I was told not to worry because it was the lemon chicken. Well, I didn't get lemon chicken or chicken Francese. I got 1 chicken breast filleted into 2 pieces, pan fried with mushrooms over angelhair pasta and butter. it was awful. made me sick to my stomach.

Literally my favorite pizza in all of Newburgh! Came with my usual crew so they could enjoy all it's goodness! We were promptly seated and our drink order was taken. We took a look at the menu and after a few moments decides on 2 personal pizza and a veal dinner. The waiter brought out bread that was warm and soft, followed by a constant stream of refills which was nice to see he was paying attention. The pizza came out first and to our shock for the price was so large. Their personal is the equivalent of a medium size pizza easily one could of fed the table. The Margharitta was superb with the flavor and freshness of ingredients. My chicken Parm Pizza was just as good full of sauce and pieces of chicken they were very generous on the toppings and giving us the pizza straight from the oven. The veal dinner took about another 15 minutes before it came out but arrived to the table pipping hot and it was well received. It was full of flavor and very tender not dry and over-cooked. I would easily recommend this and say it is the best pizza in all of Newburgh!

Upon entry, it was as though you walked in to a quaint Italian restaurant on a summer evening. We were immediately greeted and seated for a table of three. The place was quiet and feels private at your table. We were greeted with requests to see if we would like to place an order for drinks. There were a good selection of wines though we do not drink. Water, bread & an adorable mini charcuterie was placed on our table as we look over the menu. There were many options but haven't had good pasta in awhile I decided to order the seafood pasta while my siblings ordered linguini with clams & beef carpaccio (third person was not very hungry). While we sit and enjoy the free table tasting, we enjoyed the ambiance and conversation. Food was freshly prepared and quickly came to the table. All meals were asked if we would like fresh black pepper and grated cheese. Oh my! The pasta were perfect all dente with the sauce full of flavor and creamy that you just want the second bite, the third until you finish the full plate. I so wanted to try other dishes since I was utterly delighted. The table all had the sentiments. We all agree we must come back. The owner stopped by the table to greet us and gave us a little of his story as I was curious how he came to Catskills and open this wonderful place! All to summarize, the service was wonderful! Food delicious, great place to have for celebration and intimate for a date. I highly recommend this place! Definitely coming back!

Light, fresh and perfectly balanced with a touch of sweetness from the mango. We followed with seared sea scallops with a creamy white wine sauce. The slight acidity of the wine and rich buttery sauce paired perfectly to complement the sweet scallops. For my entree, I had a broiled branzino with grilled vegetables. The branzino was lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked, moist and flaky! We finished our dinner with classic tiramisu. Rich and creamy! Can't wait to go back for another meal!

The chicken parmesan was excellent, but the lasagna was Out of this World amazing, the best I've ever had. Pasta was so silky tasting, light & airy. Perfect. The portion size was also ginormous, but I managed to finish it all ! Loved it. Marinara sauce was also spot on. The bread that came to the table before our meals was superb, and my wife had a sangria with her meal which she enjoyed very much. Came back a few nights later, but this time we had to do a takeout order (our dog had been injured at the farm the day before and we did not want to leave her at the airbnb by herself). So I picked up two entrees -- a shrimp fettuccine alfredo and a salmon dinner. The salmon was first-rate, but the shrimp fettuccine alfredo was clearly the winner tonight, it was fantastic. We appreciate that they did not go overboard with the alfredo sauce (like so many restaurants do), the chef clearly knows how to prepare Italian dishes. We also had a slice of cheesecake and a tiramisu for dessert -- both were stellar, we loved them ! Lombardi's Restaurant in Gardiner, NY is Top Notch in my book. The staff are very friendly & attentive, especially David, he was extremely personable and funny. We live over two hours away in Connecticut, but we plan to come back to Lombardi's in the near future, that's how much we enjoyed our dining experiences there.

We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly by our lovely hostess, and Shaun immediately came over to recite specials and to take our orders. He was attentive and we knew we were in good hands! We started with the Dr. Fox Cocktail: Angostura bitters, Bulleit Rye, Apple Liqueur, Dry Curacao, and Sweet Vermouth, which was perfect. It was accompanied by a hummus trio to spread on the bread. There was also a delicious foccacio. Next we were served a perfect salad, delicately dressed, and what made the salad so delightful was that the lettuce was torn into manageable pieces. A pet peeve of mine is large lettuce leaves that are difficult to wrangle, and this was not the case here. There were also tiny bits of cauliflower that gave the salad a nice texture and crunch.  I had the Stuffed Artichoke and my husband had Shrimp Gamberi on an Arugula salad. Both were substantial and beautifully seasoned. We had two glasses of an Argentine Tomero Malbec. It was a generous pour. For the main course, I had Polla al Limone (Lemon Chicken) over spinach. A simple dish done well. My husband had the Halibut special, a classic Mediterranean baked halibut with tomatoes, capers, and olives. So good that he finished it all...a rarity for him. (The halibut was pricey and it would be appreciated if the price was mentioned when the specials were gone over. Perhaps we should have asked.) We finished with a Sorbetto al Lampone, a tart raspberry sorbet in a dark chocolate shell and sliced.  And as we left, our sweet hostess brought over Lucianno, the most adorable puppy, to send us off with puppy kisses! We definitely will be back...especially for the wild boar ragu over pappadelles. One nitpicking observation. The entrance to the restaurant was a tad shabby. We mistook it for the service entrance. It needs to be spruced up to match the superb food inside!

Ima keep ranting about this part of New York. This area really don't got a lot of good flavor. And…read morewhat I mean by that, like the cooking just ain't cooking for most of these spots. And idk what it is, it could be just the local folks don't got that much flavor in their taste buds and they the anti-City folk type so most of the businesses just lack in that field. With that said... this was a pretty decent Italian spot I will say WITH that consideration in mind. I did have the ravioli with slow cooked carne inside and that was delicious. My wife got the lasagna and... it was iiiitte. Family next to us were raving about it and like they were nice and we were being polite. But like let's be real here - it tasted like Stouffer's. Not that it's a knock, but at that point, you paying for the atmosphere. Which I will say the indoors is nice. You can have a nice date night or family outing here. There's a bar and plenty of parking. The service was on point and very accommodating with our new born. Who we were chopping it up with our waiter, and found out the owner's name is also the same as our kid so that was fun talking with them on. The garlic bread - idk if it's supposed to come cold, but it had like tomato sauce on it, it was like the complimentary bread with some extra shit on it. But I wasn't feeling that, but my inner Italian side just kept dipping it in my red, and it was all good. I'm glad we came here but probably won't be back if given the chance. But we looked around, and it seemed like to be the only viable Italian restaurant in the area so, if given under the same conditions, we would be back lol. I just went back and forth there like 3 times. Is that non-Ai enough of a review for you Yelp? After they flagged me for actually structuring and editing my reviews like in old school English class. Now yelp is promoting "Yelp Assistant" even though it's Ai. Gtfo here lmao
