I don't think I fully appreciated the quality of her living situation until the last few weeks. My mom suffered a fall and needed hip replacement. My mom will be returning home tomorrow after surgery to a full array of help from familiar faces. Ten days in a skilled nursing/rehab hospital is a stark reminder of how much we need places like Oakmont to care for our elderly. I am so thankful that she sold her house and moved to assisted living before we were up against the wall with a health crisis. I know she will be well cared for at Oakmont.

Additionally, neither my brother nor I were notified when my mother passed away. I learned of her death two hours later when a Sheriff answered her phone when I called, which was devastating. Yvonne was awesome in caring for our 95 year old mom, grandma, great grandma. They make wholesome healthy dinners and even a glass of wine with dinner. Pricing is reasonable and they are looked after 24/7. Be sure to take a tour of their different locations. My clients have lived in both the AL/RC locations.

She helped me fill out the forms needed for setting up my file. I must say Bailey is a very positive representative for Visiting Angels, warm and friendly. We had a few laughs during the visit. Maria C was my caregiver scheduled for my surgery in Colton. She arrived on time and was very kind and attentive throughout the procedure and after. On the second day for my post-op appointment another Maria was scheduled. She also was kind and caring and a pleasure. She helped me with some household tasks and later took me to my appointment in Rancho Cucamonga. So if you are far from family and friends, or they are tied up with their own tasks, go ahead and hire Visiting Angels, who treat you like family.

Although my review is not based on the treatment facilities services itself, it's good to note that if a manger of this facility takes the time out of their day to answer questions with a caring and compassionate manner, they most certainly would take the time to provide top quality care to their residents.
