Melanzane alla Parmigiana

My fiancé took me here for Valentine's Day, and this restaurant was amazing! The servers were very friendly, the ambiance felt very upscale, and the food was delicious! We got the zucchini Gorgonzola appetizer which was a great portion size, and my tortelloni was so good. The pasta and sauces are homemade, and everything came out perfectly! Definitely a great spot for a special occasion!

Every table has a live rose!

We've been going to Villa Ravenna for years, and it never disappoints! We celebrated our anniversary last night, and so enjoyed the atmosphere! our waiter, Chris, recommended the pasta with truffle sauce. we added wild boar to it, and WOW! amazing! We were unaware that Sergio had retired, but Brent, new owner, came over and talked to us. We gave him high praise for the continued excellence in atmosphere and food! We will continue to visit and are looking forward to one of the special events! Paul and Pat Brown

50th anniversary. Cheers

Brandon was our server and he was an outstanding server. After asking us if we were celebrating anything, he made out 51st anniversary special. He offered to take out photos. Had he not done that, we likely wouldn't have thought to get photos. Now we have photos to go into an album. We started with Bombay Safire martinis and the pair and Gorgonzola salad followed by eggplant Parmigiana. We were torn between that and eggplant lasagna. He helped us decide. I love eggplant. Brandon convinced us that we would get more eggplant flavor from the breaded eggplant than from the lasagna. I still plan to go back and try the lasagna which uses slices of eggplant for lasagna noodles. What a great idea. We weren't disappointed. We finished by sharing a dessert. It was delicious. We actually got it to go and shared it along with champagne. If I had to pick one word to describe this restaurant, it would be class. It's a place you like to dress up and go to for one of those memorable special occasions. We enjoyed the classic Italian decor. The atmosphere is for celebrating an anniversary.

This is not my first review at Villa Rena but if you want the best authentic Italian, you must go here. Every time I go, the service is on point as well as the meals and the drinks. I recommend this place for really nice date night or a treat yourself event. The staff is super attentive when you need anything and they always have phenomenal specials, including elk. This night, my boyfriend decided to get the largest prawn I have ever seen in my life and it did not disappoint.

I celebrated my 27th birthday here this year with a large group of people. VERY pleased. The service was EXCEPTIONAL!! The food was DIVINE. The ambiance was exactly what I wanted. It was a 10/10 beautiful fine dining experience. A few people in my party had to bring their kids and the servers were very kind and understanding about it and handled the kids with such ease. I will definitely recommend going here if you're looking for a very special experience or celebrating a special occasion. The owner was very pleasant too!! Cannot say enough good things, truly!

This place is excellent! If you are looking for great service and an exquisite meal, look no longer and treat yourself! The atmosphere has an old Italian date night feel. The staff is personable, the menu is full of options. Seafood is a good choice, very fresh tasting and cooked perfectly. They have a great selection of deserts, so save some room.

Looks pretty nice from the outside

Villa Ravenna is a nice Italian restaurant. Looks great from outside and inside. I love the music playing as you enter the restaurant, really good music. Inside, it's dim lit , well suited for date nights. Apparently, it's won many accolades. It's a slow dine in service restaurant so a quick eat is definitely out of the question. Service is good, although on a slower pace. Even food takes time and come out in an orderly fashion. I think they start cooking for main dish only after you've finished your salad or soup. The Insulata Villa Ravenna is the most popular salad and it's good. I love the dressing and the pickled onions, really good. The fettuccine Alfredo is good as well; portion size is on a smaller end though. I should have tried the ravioli alla panna because it's stuffed with meats, something other restaurants may not have. Oh well, another time and another visit which I don't mind. Overall, great Italian restaurant that costs a little more than others but is worth a try. I will have to come back for the ravioli. To be continued...

My husband and I came here for a drug rep presentation in their back room. The service was great and they seemed pretty attentive to our needs. They slipped in and out quietly while the presenter was talking which was nice. When I got my steak it was a little undercooked but they immediately fixed it and it was delicious. They even let me switch from the fettuccine alfredo to the risotto which I really enjoyed. I'm sure we will be back on our own and also for more drug representations in the future.

Went there for our anniversary (second year in a row we've chosen it.) The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service is excellent and the food is great. Our server was Brandon and he took outstanding care of us. We each had a martini and they were perfect. We had the grilled pear with Gorgonzola as an appetizer and both had the Melanzane alla Parmesan which we both liked very much.

Another wonderful dinner. We came on our 21st wedding anniversary based on reviews in Yelp. We returned tonight for our 25th celebration and it was better than before. Greeted at the front with a happy anniversary and a card signed by the staff. Prompt, helpful and attentive wait staff. Superb food, well presented. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We will be back again

I am not sure what the entree was but it was delicious. It was penne dish with perhaps a vodka sauce. It was creamy with some tomato sauce and included sausage. The flavors were very pleasing. I ever order penne because I've had penne dishes in which the sauce didn't cook in to the pasta. The sauce in this dish penetrated the pasta quite well. It changed my opinion of penne. The room is perfect for the size of our group. It is not overly decorated allowing for the clubs to create their own ambiance. Ours was political. Ti Amo's has long been our go to Italian restaurant. We liked going to their Happy Hour. Except for this luncheon, we haven't been there since they started adding a charge for using credit cards. We like the convenience and safety of carrying very little cash. We don't use our debit card for purchases because it puts bank accounts at risk. If we are with people who want to go to a restaurant that charges for credit cards, we go there and pay with a credit card. When it's just the 2 of us, we tend to gravitate to the places that just include the card expense in their menu pricing.

I was expecting the casualness of the place. Even so, I thought it was a relaxing place to dine. We ordered a small goat cheese pizza and a loaded-meat one. I loved the arugula on the goat cheese pizza. My bite of the Meat Lovers was above average. We also got two small garden salads. They had a lot of arugula in them as well. Be aware that the balsamic dressing is super thick. Totally emulsified. If you're wanting a vinegar and oil dressing, this is not it. That being said, I did love it. We saw lots of the focaccia coming out as apps and I would totally order that on our next visit. I definitely want to try their pasta too.

I generally am interested in restaurants that offer high, quality, vegetable-focused menus by the season, and il seme checked all my boxes. The service is outstanding. I ended up having to move my reservation twice, once online and then over the phone, and they were very accommodating. Our server, Madison, was literally so helpful and sweet. We asked her for bar recommendations, and she wrote down a list of her favorites with notes on the vibes/best drinks. It was so above and beyond. You can also tell the staff operates as a team when it comes to taking care of guests. 10/10 for service! The ambiance was so beautiful. While the tables were a little small, the restaurant is a work of art in itself. It has the most gorgeous wooden paneling and pretty blue walls. It was very hip/artsy/clean/cool. My only pain point was the restaurant was unusually warm, to the point of being a bit uncomfortable (I was in a sweater). The drinks were great. I ordered the N/A margarita and it was FANTASTIC! One of, if not the best mocktail I've ever had. My boyfriend got a beer that had a slightly coconut-y taste - yummy and unique! For appetizers, we ordered the focaccia and green garlic arancini. We enjoyed both! I loved the balsamic butter, though that dish was a bit on the salty side. The leek sauce that came with the arancini was a dream, and the mozzarella was warm inside. I ordered the gnocchi with oklahoma mushrooms, mascarpone cream, and grana. It was excellent and you will love if you enjoy creamy, truffle-y flavors. My boyfriend ordered the beef and lamb ragu, and he found it to be ok - perhaps a little on the aggressively al dente side. Overall, I enjoyed il seme and would come back! This really is a warm and welcoming place that puts a lot of intentionality into crafting their menu.

The agnolotti tasted very... earthy. I was expecting to taste more of a creamy pistachio but it was heavy kale more than anything. Service was pretty slow for a night that wasn't super busy but it was ok because we enjoyed the company we went with. Be prepared to pay for street parking or using a parking garage.
