Nice location, clean and feels authentic. Great service, friendly smiles. Tried Bruno's, the new Italian spot in Broken Arrow. The place has a nice vibe and friendly service, but the food fell a bit short. Flavors were mild and didn't quite hit the mark, and everything would've been much better if it came out piping hot. Hoping they tighten things up with time, because the potential is definitely there.

Our anniversary dinner was at a new restaurant in Broken Arrow called Bruno's The venu is surprisingly small practically furnished with simple and clean decor. The staff was friendly and efficient. The bread that was brought to our table was hot and very fresh... a true delight and star of the meal. The pasta combo itself was well prepared and had all the right flavors. My wife ordered the veal Marsala and allowed me to sample it. I'm sorry to say it was tough and disappointing.the veal tasted like it had been frozen and was overcooked. All in all it was a good experience but we will be more careful about what we order.

Day 1 review!! Today is the first day they've been open and I had to pop in and give it a go! While here I got to meet the owner and turns out, he and his family are not new to the business! They used to own Geno's in Muskogee! This being a brand new building, it's very clean inside and plenty of seating. It's an open concept so I can I see it getting noisy when it's packed but this isn't a place to party down so it should be mostly just fine. With that kind, it's no surprise dinner service, even for day went pretty darn smooth! We were greeted and seated promptly and drinks came out quickly. Our server for our appetizer, fried calamari put in and came back soon after for our entree order! We had two pasta entrees, the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and the tortellini siciliano! Both were huge plates filled with well cooked pasta and delicious sauce. I kept it simple tonight with the intent of trying more in the future! We will be back to this quiet spot off 71st and Aspen sometime soon! Cheers!!!

Receipt price way higher than menu. The sad is $2, but they're charging $5! The calamari is $12. They charged $13!

Pros: the waitress was nice but frazzled. We could see her running around helping lies of people; just not us. Bread ok. Salad ok. New. Cons: Calamari and chicken piccata bland. The thing that really pissed us off is the prices on the receipt were different than the ones listed on the menu. Someone suggested it was a credit card fee without the restaurant explicitly stating it was a fee? No not ok. I want the receipt to have the real prices and the show me the fee is being tacked on at the end.

Wow ... I know it just opened up a couple of days ago but wow... out of lids for kid cups, out of crab. Our food wasn't that great I got the baked ziti and I got it and couldn't even tell you what it was from looking at it nor did the server ! It tasted like the Alfredo had some type of seafood in it which I don't like at all. Our server was the worst , she was never around and had no urgency and could tell she didn't wanna be there . Our drinks were had to get filled bc of that, I think it was the manager that kept attending our table after he noticed she wasn't around . The place wasn't busy at all at 11:30am didn't pick up til around 1pm so it was pretty quiet which was nice . Maybe in a couple of months this place will get into its groove .

Pretty good pasta with great service. I probably won't order seafood though. Generous portion of seafood but the mussel is too chewy for me.

Bruno's Italian in Broken Arrow is an amazing place to eat and run by amazing people. I placed an order through Door Dash, and go figure, Door Dash bungled everything up. But this wasn't a normal order. It was for a grieving family that just lost a family member. I called the restaurant and explained the situation and they wanted to help me get this meal to the family I was ordering for. They went out of their way to have someone drive the meal to the family and drop it off for them. Not a delivery driver, a hostess. I spoke with Jeno (sp?) and he was so happy to do this for the family going through their loss. He was great to talk to! Thank you! As for the food! The family sent pictures and talked about how incredible it all was! I'm jealous I did not get to try it personally. But they'd never been to Bruno's before and said they're now looking forward to going themselves. They deserve your business! They're good people and the food is great!

Review: It's a work in progress. The style of Italian food here is a bit different from other Italian places--it's their own spin. Some of the flavors hit close to what you'd expect, but they're still developing that classic, comforting Italian feel. The food was a little too salty overall. The welcome bread had a strong baking powder taste, and the strambolli bread was soft and slightly cold in the center--not all the cheese was melted. Visually, the food felt kind of bland, and there weren't any Italian colors or touches in the decor to help set the vibe. Still, it's a cool spot to check out if you're open to something different. Always good to support local as they grow.

We visited on opening day and were immediately impressed! Our family of six was greeted with a smile and seated quickly. We arrived early, which was smart because it filled up fast! Our server, Macey, brought out fresh bread that we dipped in olive oil, garlic, and cheese, so delicious. Please note the dipping sauces like Alfredo and the olive oil are extra. For appetizers, we shared mozzarella sticks and fried ravioli, both kid-approved and gone in seconds! The menu is packed with Italian favorites. I ordered the Napoli's Combo... which came with lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, and chicken parmigiana. So good. A great way to sample a few dishes at a new place. My wife had the shrimp and crab Alfredo, creamy and rich. The kids ordered off the children's menu and the portions were huge. Definitely large enough to share at their age. We couldn't leave without dessert. The tiramisu, strawberry cheesecake, and lemon cake were all fantastic. Bruno's made a strong first impression with great food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming vibe. Five stars from us. Welcome to BA, we're so glad you're here! We'll definitely be back.

Pasta combo:manicotti, lasagna, ravioli Delicious sauce, large lunch portions Great if you can't make a decision!

Bruno's just opened and Broken Arrow is welcoming them amazingly!!! The place is hopping with activity and happy customers!! The restaurant is a nice size with booths and tables. They are not too crowded. The menu had choices for every palate. Lunch menu is available from 11-3pm. My colleagues and I enjoyed the lunch pasta combo, baked ziti, and chicken parmigiana each coming with a side salad. The sauce was amazingly delicious and the ingredients fresh! And the rolls were an added treat! They just kept coming! Be patient should you have a bit of a wait as they manage a new business! Support this locally owned business and you so t be disappointed!!!

Our server was seriously one of the best I've ever had. Dessert was on the house for the birthday and it was their sogno de chocolate. Never disappoints. It was enough to share among two of us. Their shrimp scampi which has become one of our favorite appetizers is a must try. Highly recommend it. The restaurant has changed a lot over the years but it's still a clean, lowly light ambience. It's both modern and rustic. This is the first and only time I've been here where a manager doesn't come to check on the table. It was a strange situation, I also expected someone to say something to us on our way out as there were multiple employees near by. They usually do. I recommend the staff to maintain those good practices. To Frederick, our server, I wish you worked at all restaurants I visit when I visit them.

We got sat in a booth immediately. The ambience is nice. It's a dimly lit elevated but casual place. You could go dressed up or you could go in jeans. The menus is smaller but offers steaks, chicken, fish and lamb. We got two appetizers, one entrée, one dessert, and four drinks. Let's talk about it. Cocktails- 10/10 I had the Velvet Veil & my husband had the Peach Blush. They were so good that we had a second round. They have few other unique cocktails and a large beer and alcohol list. Tuna tartare- 10/10. It comes with wonton chips and honestly, you don't even need them. The tartare by itself is so delicious. We will go back just for this and a cocktail. Lobster bisque- 8/10 a bit spicy which seemed odd but good lobster flavor For our main, we split the lamb chops with a side of fried Brussels and also mashed potatoes. Lamb chops- 10/10 there were 6 chops so we each got 3. They were drizzled with a beautiful mint sauce and a sweet demi glaze, not too sweet. Garlic whipped potatoes- 10/10 you gotta like garlic and chives. But it isn't overwhelming. Brussels-10/10. They were on the sweeter side too and some of the best I have ever had. Bread pudding- 10/10. We have a hard time fining a bread pudding without bananas or raisins, as we don't like them, and this one does not have them. Simple and delicious! Overall we really enjoyed it. We felt like we got an elevated steakhouse experience without spending a ton of money. The prices are fair, the wait staff is wonderful, the ambience is perfect. We will definitely be going back.
