I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. The tea was delicious and sweet but really nice. I'm not sure how you could make that horrible. The shrimp chow mein was just OK to me. The noodles seemed gummy and I'm not used to that. We also had the sautéed gyoza. The first batch came out burnt, but they were very nice and very accommodating when we brought them back and they brought us another order that was perfect and delicious. By the way we ordered vegetarian Gyoza and it was surprisingly good. I have also had the Ramen at this restaurant and it is also excellent . Many choices and they're really good about cooking what you need. This is not a fancy place but the food is great and the girls at the order desk are really sweet!

They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. It was simple, respectful, and genuinely touching. See my picture. That detail said a lot about the heart behind this place. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out.
