Had my floors installed back in 2021. We picked out LVP. The person of contact did not communicate during the install. That was the first problem. Second problem is they have been back every year since the install to correct the floor underneath which was not done properly. In fact the first year they came out the guy said they did a shitty job. Nice to hear from the store that their service was shitty. The floors had about a one inch movement up and down. So the second year another spot did the same thing. They came out and ripped it up a second time. Problem came back the next year in a different spot all within about a ten to twelve foot area. Each year a new spot and another ripping up of the floor. We had new baseboards installed through out the house and after 5 years and promises that the missing piece in the master bath would be done, it still isn't. Even this past summer the head guy said he was embarrassed that it wasn't done. But Guess what? Still not done. Plus all the installed baseboards have small little metal nail hole throughout as they didn't even cover them and paint over them. They look horrible. We recently had our upstairs done by a different company and I looked at Village carpets email from 2021 to get the color of our downstairs LVP. Turns out they changed the color on a different email without noting it and we ordered over 1000 sq ft of the incorrect color. This cost me over $3000 because they had changed color. Lost the price of the floors and labor as I noticed it was wrong after half the upstairs hallway was installed. Then had to look through past emails to find out the problem was that I was sent two different emails with two different floor colors. I have left messages for owner which are ignored. Crazy way to run a business. read more

Lori at Village Flooring & Renovations really helped us find the right style, color, and material when we selected our luxury vinyl flooring, we are very happy with our new floors. I also want to say the two workers that installed our floors, Diego and his partner, were not only early on the job, but very respectful being in our home and very tidy. Diego deserves some special praise for some extra detail work he did in the cut of the vinyl to fit around my fireplace and the trim work he did in my kitchen when he replaced my ¾ round wood with composite, it looks fantastic now. I also don't want to forget about the "savior of the hour" Frank from the warehouse division who came to our aid twice. Once for moisture concerns in our slab. He had contacts that were able to roll out quickly to make evaluations, offer solutions, and provide action to resolve the issue so the job could be completed with minimal delay. Then, when the job was right at the end of completion I spilled paint on the new floor. Frank came out to mitigate the damage and showed me some techniques to remove the paint and clean the vinyl so as not to need replacement of the new boards. Had the best experience! I tried ordering what Lowe's considered to be a custom high end carpet for this 10'x13' primary suite, closet, and laundry room. I kept getting sent to several people and brushed off because the job was so small. Finally found someone that told me I'd have to order 500 ft.² minimal for them to order the carpet and then it would take 3 to 4 weeks to receive the carpet (we never even agreed on a carpet nor did they show me a carpet sample at this point.) I decided to think outside of the large box stores and go local, thinking if I was going to have to pay more money for a minimum order I would much rather go to a local business. The second I walked in I met Lori, she was enthusiastic and very approachable. I immediately started the conversation with "I have this tiny job and he probably won't be interested in it because it's so small but here I am." Lori immediately assured me that the size of the job wasn't important to her, but that showing me all the great options that they had availabe that could make me happy was the goal for her. I showed her pictures of the space and she immediately began pulling samples that she thought I might like based on my description of what the room was being used for, the type of carpet I was considering, potential colors, etc. Within 15 minutes I selected a carpet and I am so happy with it. Way better than my options at Lowe's. Also, there wasn't a square footage minimum and the installation was a third the cost from my contractor's guy. I hate to keep bringing up pricing , I only bring it up because that's all that Lowe's talked about. They didn't even show me samples. I know the next job I do with Lori and the team it will be a bigger job and to be able to say "I have a person for that" is a huge asset for me. I've been looking forward to redoing the floor in my house and after getting estimates from a few companies I decided to go with Villiage Carpets Flooring. Tom came to the house to do the measurements...very thorough and friendly. A couple weeks later I went to look at samples. Took some home but wasn't loving what I picked out. I went back and with their help I found the perfect flooring. Exactly what I had envisioned. The install crew was equally as impressive. I wish I could remember the name of the installer who was here daily because he deserves praise (I think it started with an A). He was so kind and did incredible work. He was able to line everything up perfectly. I'm very detail oriented and perhaps have some OCD tendencies so seeing such impeccable work made me so happy. The crew cleaned up all the dust and debris daily before leaving, they were careful with my furniture and worked diligently the entire week. Jahna was wonderful. She was so patient as my husband and I debated over which carpet to choose for our spare room. She even allowed us to bring samples home. The room is so small that we weren't sure if anyone would even be willing to do the job, but there was no question of that, and Jahna was more than happy to help us stay within our budget. Once we made our choice, scheduling the measurements and the work was fast and easy. Jahna was prompt at sending us the estimate. I'm giving the company four stars because of our experience with the back end. The gentleman who came to measure arrived a bit late and didn't put on booties to cover his shoes. Kevin did an excellent job installing the carpet single handed. With that said, I had to call Jahna to find out what was going on when his window to arrive had come and gone. Apparently his truck broke down. No call from him directly to tell us he's running late? Really? When I finally did hear from him he was lost and couldn't find our condo. My husband and I had to go looking for him. When Kevin arrived and took a look at the room, we discovered that he hadn't been told about the closet shelves that couldn't be lifted and that he'd have to work around. The man who came to measure said that he would leave notes for Kevin. Lack of communication with customers and each other. :/ However, I am overall happy despite the anxiety causing snags. Our carpet looks and feels beautiful, and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Kevin knows what he's doing, and Jahna is exceptional at customer service. Even the pricing was fair and affordable. Not recommended. Communication through out the project was difficult, with major differences between information from the office and the field. I was left with a job where, having had the whole house recently painted, I have had to scrape and repaint old caulk lines. Floors aren't level throughout the house, which I knew but is a more complex issue. A pre-walk through would have been very helpful. I was out when they showed up and had already moved all their equipment into my garage which I did not want. I had a large side yard for that. Clean up was haphazard and sloppy, leaving me with quite a bit of things to dispose of read more

They showed up on time without any hitches and immediately showed me the carpet and padding while on the truck to ensure they were the correct materials. And then they went to work non-stop till the job was done. They wore their PPEs and were absolutely respectful of our home and of our things. Awesome business and staff! We were under a tight timeline with our project when we went in to look at the flooring options. This team went above and beyond to help us out with the project and was able to get the flooring completed earlier than originally told to us. The owner even came out to take the measurements the same day that we went in because the team that usually does the measurements was booked for another week. We had originally started with another flooring company but after a couple of days we knew we were going to have some issues, so after some research, we decided to go in here, and it was the best decision we could have made. when entering the door in March 2022, my wife and I were extremely happy with the attempt for courteous staff (Jahna). She assistant us with not only picking or carpeting, but also are LVP. She explained a variety of things that we did not know related to the flooring. Fast forward, eight months later, due to delays with our Contractor Marrokal (and their designated Trades), we were ready for flooring. Within two days we had beautiful flooring throughout our house.
