So annoyed! Again, I come here for dinner and free pie Wednesday. 1. If it's not a fruit pie it is .99 cents. 2. They are out of French silk. The guy behind me wanted cherry pie, guess what? Yep They were out. The service is beyond slow, sat for 15 minutes before our table was approached. So many tables are not cleared. I seriously dislike this place.

It has been a minute since I was last here! Coffee which I needed perfect 10 out 10! Get's better. Egg White Omelette, 2 slices Of Bacon, 2 pork links, and an English muffin (toasted to perfection). Hash browns which I liberally covered with Cholula Hot Sauce (mild). A breakfast to replenish the blood I had taken. After a 9 Hour Fast! Great Restaurant that serves Breakfast all Day..

I was craving some pie and decided to head to Village Inn. It was my first time trying here, so I was excited for all the pie. For a place that was dead empty, it took a long time to get a slice of pie. But when I got my slice, I was let down again :( almost $6 for a small slice of pie that was dryer than my chapped lips in the summer. I was able to pick up the whipped cream with my hands and throw it to my dog. However, the pie was still destroyed and it did taste good. The inside of Village Inn was clean and very quiet. I don't think I'd go back tho...

Pleasant environment, great menu and tasty food, decent prices, super friendly staff. Very homey feeling; comfortable. Save room for pie!

Pretty traditional diner setup. I like this location doesn't feel as busy as others and usually doesn't take long to get seated. Nina was my server and also cashier. She was great, attentive and checked in a reasonable number of times. I typically always get breakfast when here. It did not disappoint. The food is consistent of what to expect for a diner. If you're in the mood for dessert, definitely check out their pies. That's what sets them apart from others.

The wait staff was very nice and welcoming. The food came up fast. The food was good. No faults there. We enjoyed it. We also ordered a malt And some shakes. All was very tasty. IMO the food was a 4 and the service a 5 so all in all a good experience. They have several types of sandwiches including a Reuben, hamburgers. Ice cream in many many flavors. They also had some homemade pie. Didn't have any but they looked good. Glad to see this small business is still going. It was a nice respite while traveling through this hot summer afternoon

Let me start with the drinks, because they deserve it. The chocolate egg cream, which contains…read moreneither egg nor cream (the audacity), sounds like something a seven year old invented during a fever dream. It was gone in five minutes and I would have licked the glass if my husband wasn't watching. I also had a cherry phosphate, and if you have never had a phosphate, I am genuinely sorry for your loss. I have been a fan since my first one at Aglamesis Bros in Cincinnati, and this one brought back every bit of that sour, tangy, cherry nostalgia. Order both. Alternate sips. You're welcome. The Reuben was a heavy hitter. Corned beef so tender it practically dissolved, sauerkraut quiet enough to stay in its lane while still adding a nice salty backbone, and I had the good sense to ask for extra thousand island for dipping. That was a power move and I stand by it. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich special, which was so good I spent the rest of the meal in quiet mourning over my own ordering choices. Absolutely outstanding, no notes. The potato salad he got as his side was excellent too, which only added to my suffering. Now. The sides. The fries are mandatory. Hot, fresh, crispy outside, perfectly smooth and creamy inside, and tossed in some seasoning I cannot identify but will be thinking about for the next several weeks. Critical note: put the ketchup down. It clashes with the seasoning in a way that will disappoint you. Get a side of mayo instead and dip accordingly. Genuinely life changing. The Hawaiian coleslaw, on the other hand, is a trap I walked into so you do not have to. Sweet coleslaw is already a divisive concept, and this one doubles down with chunks of pineapple thrown in for reasons I can only describe as chaotic. If tropical fruit in your coleslaw is your thing, go for it. If you have any savory coleslaw loyalty whatsoever, order literally anything else. The ambiance is pure nostalgia, antiques everywhere you look, sandwiched on both sides by an antique shop, which is fitting because this whole place feels like a time capsule in the best possible way. And for my fellow vinyl collectors, this is a hidden gem. I turned around approximately six times and found a new box of records every single time. I did not come here expecting to go digging, but I am absolutely coming back to do exactly that. Apparently I cannot go anywhere without finding another way to spend money on albums. No regrets, this place has great taste in more ways than one.

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties.
