Most breakfast places are lined up out the door so we were surprised to walk into Biscuits and they had tables available. We were handed menus and then greeted with a pot of coffee brought to our table. Service was good, and they kept my coffee warmed. The only down side was the very sticky floor from the bathroom to the table. I don't know if they were using a strange cleaner or if there had been a big spill but it was very sticky. Prices are a tad high with most breakfast plates near $20, but that won't keep me away because they serve very large portions so I will share next time. We had to try the filled donut to start with. It was delicious and freshly made, although we did not find the filling. I had the breakfast burrito for my main course and brought half of it home. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated shortly thereafter, but then we were ignored/overlooked for about 10 minutes until I got up to go find someone. The server I spoke to apologized and said she'd be right over, which she was - with water. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. Hubby ordered coffee and the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and biscuits. My Arnold Palmer tasted very metallic and I had to send it back as I couldn't drink it. She did ask if I wanted something else and I decided on hot chocolate. (No, I was not charged for the Arnold Palmer.) The food was good. Basic French toast, but nice and thick. Scrambled eggs are as I prefer them, without added salt and pepper. Let the guest add that themselves! The bacon did seem a bit salty, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Hubby enjoyed his meal, though also found it to be pretty basic. His corned beef hash didn't have a lot of flavor. It appeared to have very little onion and potatoes which would have added flavor. Our server did use a coupon to give us a discount because of our wait, which I appreciated. We might go back because it is nearby, but we won't be regulars. read more

This place was a letdown for us. The food was mediocre at best. They did two things well. The homemade strawberry jelly was killer. And the fries/ranch were also incredible. Our poor server was the only one there with at least 12 tables on a Saturday morning she was running around the best she could but simple things like drinks being refilled just wasn't going to happen. Again no fault to her she was lovely but the manager clearly didn't staff accordingly... I had the turkey burger and took about two bites. The turkey patty was the worst I've ever had. There was chunks of bone or something in it because it was crunchy eating it. I was really hoping for the fact that the name was biscuits Café that the biscuits would be better but again they too were just mediocre. Ultimately, we won't be back -- and I would recommend saving your money and picking a different breakfast spot. read more

I enjoy coming here but don't get here enough. With hubby having a birthday we decided to come for breakfast. Warm and welcoming. I enjoyed the Christmas music playing in the background. Was hungry for breakfast and decided to stop at Biscuits because I was driving by and had been to the chain numerous times in the past. I ordered a coffee and meat lover's omelette without the sausage. It came with a side of potatoes and pancakes. The omelette was loaded with ham and bacon, however the meat was folded in between the eggs and not cooked into the eggs. I prefer the filling be mixed into the eggs while cooking and not after. It was still very good and the pancakes were a heaping stack of two and cooked moist. The waitress was nice and checked in frequently. I tried this place again hoping it would improve in time. It's still just ok. My Friend had the country omelet. Which was just ok. I had the Huevos Rancheros which were bland. The beans tasted like straight outta the can. The waitress didn't even smile. The person who actually bought our food out was superb. Friendly smile courteous. I could of probably had a better served meal at IHOP. The bathroom was clean and out of soap n towels on one side. Overall the presentation for the Huevos rancheros was great. We haven't tried this establishment, but my wife suggested it last night. Stated out ok as we were seated within a couple of minutes of entering. We were given menus to presume and the waiting started. I think we waited at least 15 minutes before someone even acknowledged we were sitting in a booth. My wife actually stood and approached a server before someone came to our table. We ordered everything at once. My wife asked for an Arnold Palmer and French Toast and I got coffee and the corned beef hash. Our drinks came and my wife asked me to taste hers. It had a metallic taste to it, so wife got hot chocolate instead. Our food was mediocre at best. Not the best we had but not the worst. The portions were kind of big. My corned beef hash only had onions and a few small potatoes, where I am used to having some peppers in it. Sunday morning visit, the restaurant was nearly full, but we were still immediately seated. The french toast flight was good, but it's essentially only two different types of french toast. The strawberry and blueberry were just the original with fresh fruit and whipped cream on top. A strawberry/blueberry jam or compote would've been nice. We received some coupons in the mail that made us decide to stop in for breakfast on a Monday morning. There was also a sign on the side of the building starting that it's under new management that made us feel a little more hopeful that our experience this time might be better than last time. First, our server was very friendly and the place seemed cleaner. My shoes didn't stick to the floor this time. However, the prices have definitely gone up. Last time I noted that the prices were good, but we didn't feel the same way this time. Inflation can do that though so I don't fault the restaurant for the increase in prices. I got the stuffed French toast combo, my brother got the cinnamon roll French toast combo, and my mom got the original breakfast combo. I would say that the good this time was mediocre. The stuffed French toast isn't actually stuffed and the sauce was bland and actually took away from the flavor of the toast and fresh strawberries. My brother's cinnamon roll French toast barley had any cinnamon flavor and there was no glaze or anything for it. Everything else was just okay. The bacon was good though. Overall, just an average experience. Unlikely to return for breakfast because of the mediocre food. May come back to try lunch though. read more

I tried the breast burrito in the southwestern dishes, I swapped the chorizo for bacon and it was a surprisingly refreshing burrito! This is a family owned restaurant since 1998, we just moved to the area so we thought we'd check them out as everything on the menu looked good and they had plenty of options. We had no problem getting a table for 2 without waiting on a Saturday morning, they had majority of their tables full but there were still some open ones. The staff is friendly here and attentive, and even the GM came to our table to introduce herself and was very kind and friendly. She also mentioned offering 10% during weekdays coming soon. The place is a little dated, but it's still cute. We got the cinnamon roll to start, and it was pretty bland, it didn't feel like anything too special which was a little disappointing. Then I got the avocado Benedict with hash browns and I would say the food is just very average, it did also take more than 30 minutes for us to get our food, we were waiting around for awhile. My partner got the meatlovers omelette and the portion was good and tasted good. I would say this place is just average, nothing blew us away, and I feel the quality of some of the food items could be better. Also our server was a little pushy in some ways, he kept asking us if we were going to be regulars, and to keep coming back, if this was the best breakfast place we've tried so far, and even was speaking poorly of a nearby breakfast place called eggstasy, It was pretty awkward. My husband and I went here with a friend after church. There weee several more couples here. We are her last Sunday also. Our friend ordered corned beef hash with scrambled eggs. He got an order with a shredded meat and poached eggs. Never in my many mature years have I ever seen any has come liked this. They have a team that serves the orders. They were accommodating but it was really not a good experience if you don't like runny eggs. He got another order.
