Unfortunately this place just didn't hit the mark for us. We took our 1.5 year old in for her first visit and the dentist spent hardly anytime with us....we were in there maybe 5 min tops. Basically all she did was count her teeth, show us how to brush our kiddos teeth, and give us a toothbrush and we were out. Then charged us $127. What a racket. read more

Everyone on staff is super nice and good with kids, they have cartoons playing in TVs on the ceiling for when the kids are getting their teeth cleaned, and they give the kids "gold coins" they can redeem for little toys on the way out (our boy picked a bouncy ball that he loves) read more

My little boy is 18 months old and had his first dentist visit with Dr. Nguyen. He did very well thanks to the gentle care provided by Dr. Nguyen and the comfortable environment at her office. The facility is very clean, bright and cheery. My son loved playing around in the waiting area. Dr. Nguyen spent time giving clear explanations about my son's teeth and how to care for them. I was nervous about how my toddler would do since he's shy and fidgety; however, there was no need to worry as it was all a very positive experience. Dr Nguyen clearly knows how to work with little ones. Making an appointment was easy and the online patient profile form and email reminder were convenient. Free parking underground. Kids Village Dentistry is what I was looking to find. The environment is clean, and the staff is excellent; From the moment you enter the office, you will notice that the domain is designed to put you at ease. Dr.Nguyen is a welcoming and, of course, kid-friendly person. The way she greeted us took the pressure off of our shoulders. She answered all our questions obvious way. Both my kids received treatment that was appropriate for them. She Listens to your concerns carefully. I'd be shocked if you find a Pediatric dentist that's superior to Dr. Nguyen, and who embodies higher standards of knowledge, care, and empathy. I'm obviously not the only one who feels the same! Having a toddler go to the dentist is always stressful on the parent and child so I find using a gentle and soft spoken staff helps. Dr. Nguyen and her team are kind and personable. The Corydon parking lot is around the corner on Blakey/Ravenna in the back since street parking up front is difficult. Just be careful to read the signs to avoid parking in residential vs retail spots. It's also narrow lanes in the garage so keep going left until you see the non-compact car sized spots across the elevator banks. Rookie mistake on my end trying to get my SUV against the wall and pillars haha. The office is clean in the front. The back is a little dim without windows but also clean and functional. May I suggest more cute wall decals around the exam room soften the atmosphere? We will be back every 6 months! read more

This review is years overdue. Dr. Nguyen saw my son on an emergency basis (when nobody else would) when he knocked his front tooth loose. We live in Magnolia and have been going to her ever since that time. She is thorough, entertaining, and efficient at the same time. This is a long overdue review. My kids were among the first patients Dr. Nguyen had in her beautiful new office near U Village and they've both looked forward to seeing her ever 6 months ever since! The staff is kind and helpful. The space is kid friendly and there are TVs to help with distraction. Dr. Nguyen is of course the highlight--gentle, stellar with children, communicative, and a perfect balance between professional and fun. We moved away recently and saying goodbye to her was surprisingly hard. We both teared up a bit! I am sorry to say that my experience here was different than many of the other reviews. Although everyone was friendly, I was not impressed with my appointment as a whole. It was my daughter's first visit to the dentist and I wasn't sure what to expect. The doctor didn't introduced herself, or shake my hand, or introduce herself to my daughter. She wasn't wearing a name tag or lab coat to identify her by. The appointment lasted for about 10 minutes, and while I didn't feel rushed I also didn't feel like there was any substance to the appointment. She answered a few of my questions, looked in my daughter's mouth briefly, applied fluoride and then the appointment was over. I am really sorry to write a negative review but my expectations were not met at the appointment. *I will add an addendum that Dr. Nguyen followed up with me personally via phone today regarding my appointment and negative experiences. I appreciate her taking the time to address my concerns. read more

Dr. Nguyen and her team are fantastic! My 4 year old has been going here since he was 2 and my 20 month old started going here when he turned 1. People always tell me how terrible taking their kids to the dentist is so I was expecting a disaster....but my kids love coming here! Everyone is patient, friendly, professional and SO good with kids. Dr. Nguyen is so warm and cheerful and makes you feel like you've known each other forever. When they lay in the exam chair, they can put on headphones and watch a movie--I wish I could do that at my dentist! I brought my daughter to Dr. Nguyen a few months ago and my daughter warrmed up to her immediately (which has not been the case with other providers). She even asks to go back to see her! Dr. Nguyen was gentle, informative and compassionate during the exam and also when reviewing the treatment plan with me. When I brought my active 2 year old to see her, her calm demeanor allowed her to complete a full exam with him. We have had wonderful experiences with this office and plan on returning for many years to come. When COVID was not a thing, my kids loved coming to the dentist with its xbox and movies on the ceiling while they are getting their teeth cleaned. My son had a bad fall on our stairs and knocked his two front teeth backwards. Our current dentist highly recommended visiting Dr. Nguyen who specializes in pediatric dentistry. She came in on an out of office day just to see my son and check on his teeth. Our visit was quick and she was so great with him and explaining what the next steps were to me. We arrived 5 minutes late to our appt, but were seen right away. Once in, they took X-rays of my sons teeth. Despite him being quite difficult, they showed so much patience and understanding. There were times when my son would push tools out of his mouth while they were working and they just went with it. My son left proud of himself, and having no nerves about future visits. Wow! What a great experience with Dr. Nguyen today. I took my 2.5 year old today for his first dental appointment, and I was nervous as brushing his teeth is not his favorite activity. Angela at the front desk was so sweet, and Sam the assistant was cheerful and instantly put my son at ease. Dr. Nguyen was so sweet to my son and he didn't fuss at all while she looked at his teeth.
