We are long-time patients of Dr. Nguyen and are so grateful for her office and the warm atmosphere. It was easy to schedule an appointment, we were greeted warmly when we walked in and promptly seen (I think even a few minutes before our scheduled appointment, always a bonus!!). I brought my 8 year old daughter in because she was experiencing some tooth pain. Within 10 minutes, she had already completed her x-rays and exam and she diagnosed that my daughter would need a crown. Dr. Nguyen was kind and explained everything thoroughly so that neither of us felt nervous. She was able to get all the work done at the same appointment (it really was much faster and easier than I expected!). My daughter felt comfortable with Dr. Nguyen and her assistant, so I was able to stay in the waiting room with my two younger children (the best waiting room ever...it was stocked with toys, puzzles, a movie playing, and even a Wii). I am so grateful to have a Pediatric dentist. When my daughter was getting her work done, she was able to watch a show (with headphones). It gave her a welcome distraction and made the visit even better. We came from Bothell to see her and will continue to make that drive, she's the best Pediatric Dentist ever! Dr. Nguyen is awesome! Our 2.5 year old had his first full cleaning and we were amazed at how well he did. He usually squirms all over the place when he gets his teeth brushed at home, but with the fun and welcoming atmosphere and Dr. Nguyen's great ability to work with kids, he didn't budge and actually listened to all her requests. She is very approachable and knew exactly what to say to get him to cooperate (without realizing he was cooperating). He actually enjoyed going to the dentist and was super excited about his prize at the end. The lobby is also very clean and there are a lot of things to keep the kids busy and happy. I am without words at how INCREDIBLE Dr. Nguyen was when dealing with a dental emergency. She is not my typical dentist however was on call while my dentist was away. Although I was not her patient she did everything she could to understand the situation and work toward a solution. She was calm and patient making me feel at ease even over the phone. I ended up needing more work done than she or my typical dentist could provide but referred me to a wonderful specialist. However, her role in the situation did not end there she made sure to follow up with me the next day to make sure I was no longer in pain! I am blown away by her care especially sense I was not a registered patient with her yet she treated me as if I was! I am beyond grateful, thankful and blessed! read more

My daughter had her first dentist appointment (almost 3 yrs old) 12/26/14. Dr. Nguyen was so gentle and amazing with her. They don't use the "scary chairs and equipment" until after age 3 so Dr. Nguyen gave her a personal tour of everything to help her get ready for next time. My daughter especially loved the "sparkles" (fluoride) she got her teeth and the flavored gloves. She was excited to get a little goodie bag of new toothpaste, a brush, and flossers and asks to floss now every night. Dr. Nguyen even helped us start the conversation with her about stopping thumb-sucking. I can't recommend them enough. My daughter has stranger anxiety and she used to cry her lungs out every time we step out of our house, but entire staff of village kids made so much effort to make us comfortable. Doctor let kiddo sit on my lap entire time while checking. All my visits were pretty smooth and quick. I was so nervous taking my 18months old to a dentist but it was so comforting better then pediatrician visits. Unfortunately we are leaving Seattle and not sure if I can find such a good place. My 4yr old has been seen here since his first teeth arrived. Dr Nguyen has always been there in emergencies and in our routine visits with a warm and welcoming smile. She is the most compassionate and personal dentist I've seen in the profession. My 4yr old is no picnic when it comes to doctor appts, but when it's time for the dentist visit, there are zero tears and more like hugs and happy smiles for seeing Dr Nguyen. The dentistry is 100% tailored to the kiddos which is fantastic and invites the kids into a less stressful environment. By the way...my kids actually WANTS to brush his teeth thanks to Dr Nguyen! Dr. Nyguen was fantastic with my son. After several tries and failures with other dentist she made me and my son feel at ease. She was very knowledgeable and understanding with my concerns. I was extremely impressed by her response and timliness to get my son in to see her. Her staff was excellent as well and the professionalism of her employees is applaud worthy. Dr. Nguyen and her staff are lovely. My 9 year old son saw Dr. Nguyen for the first time two weeks ago as a new patient. (Our family practice dentist had retired.) His initial appt went great! Dr. Nguyen has a very calming personality and my son felt at ease. He needed to come back for a filling two weeks later. He had a great time playing video games in the waiting room at the first visit and wanted to get there early to hang out before his second appt! I love Village Kids Dentistry. I've been coming here for years with my four kids, and it has always been great. The staff is ver friendly and amazingly efficient. They can handle all four kids at the same time, with them all getting their cleaning, while the dentist is going from one to the other to check on their teeth. When there are no x-rays to take, we are out of there in what feels like 15 minutes. And they seem thorough at the same time. My kids' teeth are healthy, and they have been finding small cavities early. My kids are older, but they are well equipped and prepared to take care of young children as well. I brought in my 3 year old son to Dr. Nguyen just last week and we had a great experience. She was very calm and got down on his level to explain everything that was happening as she cleaned his teeth. I was really impressed. She gave him a gold coin (the best part as far as he was concerned) to pick a prize as we checked out. I am totally blown away by our awesome appointment with Dr. Nguyen! I am also a dentist but a mother first and foremost and she provided my son (and myself) with so much tenderness, awareness, empathy, and incredibly exemplary dentistry during a challenging procedure. We hace been strugling finding a good dentist in Seattle area, so we decided to give it a try base on people's review and I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed, after contacting online, at 2 approx, they called me back at 4 to agree with a date/time, explaint covid19 strategy that they were following, etc. The date for the actual appointment, I waited just like 5 min after checking in, the equipment looks clean, they are fully protected and take good precautions, my kid really enjoyed the visit and definitely my kids will come back. read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Nguyen at Village Kids Dentistry. The office is perfect for my 1 year old with a safe and fun waiting room and friendly office administrators. Dr. Nguyen demonstrated the examination, teeth brushing and fluoride treatment on a stuffed alligator to my son before working on him. She was thoughtful and kind and generous with her knowledge and time. We were rewarded with a free kids Sonicare Toothbrush for being new clients! I brought my two kids here (ages 4 years and 18 months) for their first visits after Dr Nguyen was recommended by a friend. What a great environment for kids! The staff really seems to enjoy working with little ones. Lots of smiles. Dr Nguyen was warm and knowledgable. Dr. Nguyen and her team are so excellent. We were referred to a pediatric dentist with my now 7 year old to take care of some specialized work and are never leaving! I find the whole team caring and extremely competent working with wiggly kiddos. They provide a high level of service and Dr. Nguyen in particular is pragmatic and thoughtful in her recommendations about care. Another amazing visit! My kids have been seeing Dr Nguyen for several years now and our experience has been absolutely wonderful! The whole staff there is really great with the kids. They seem super aware and conscientious with they way that they work so the kids have a good experience. While watching them work, I noticed that they move the instruments toward the kid's face in an oblique way so that they don't feel like to tool is going to poke them. We took our 2 year old daughter in for an over due appointment. Our daughter does not love to brush her teeth but she will do it. The dentist and her assistants were great , they were gentle and patient and answered all of my questions. The office itself was very clean and there were lots of toys/activities for kids in the waiting room. They were playing Frozen when we came in, so now my daughter refers to them as the Frozen doctors. read more

Village Kids Dentistry was amazing! My 5-year old who has deep anxiety at the dentist was referred out for sealants so she could receive laughing gas (which her regular dentist does not do). She was immediately excited entering the kid friendly environment and the hygienist and doctor made her feel safe and secure. She left the experience saying, "Mama, that was so fun!" - unheard of.
