Village sweet offers a daily menu of scones, breads, muffins, frittatas, quiches, and other baked items. I stopped by while in the area, and ordered: +a Blueberry lemon scone +a Rosemary Parm + cheddar scone +a S'mores cookie The scones were okay, but not as stellar as others have made them out to be; they were definitely generous in size, but were pretty dry, both in and out. The cookie was super chunky, but it was very thick and very 'bread-y'. I was disappointed that they ran out of the orange cinnamon rolls, so it seems as if one has to order in advance or get there early, as this seems pretty popular. Service was sweet and friendly, and there's a handful of seating inside. The place is a bit dark, though, and not much natural light is being let in. Parking is available in this small strip plaza lot. +friendly service +parking available in small strip plaza lot

Cookies for first birthday party with the theme One Sweet Cookie

We could not be happier with how these cookies turned out for our sons first birthday! They took my vision and brought it to life. Everyone at the party was commenting on how cute these cookies were and how good they tasted too. We were so pleased with the service and with the easy simple process! We would recommend Village Sweet over and over again. Thank you!!

    Inspo pic

I finally have come around to make my review. First, I'd like to say the company was very sweet through email. A little non responsive at times, but I understand they're only open for a short amount of time each day. I ordered 25 cupcakes and 25 decorated sugar cookies for a baby shower. I sent in pictures for inspo which I'll upload here as well. In total, I paid $220. I'm not going to lie, right off the bat, this was pricey. I waited until after the baby shower to write the review to make sure I tasted the goods too. To start off, the cookies looked like they really paid attention to detail and were very nicely executed. The taste, is what you'd expect from a decorated sugar cookie. It was a little chalky, nothing special but the size and decorations were great. No complaints on the cookies. As for the cupcakes, I ordered half of the 25 to be vanilla and the other half to be brown sugar. These cupcakes were HUGE! I was not expecting them to be so big. Not a bad thing, but two people could definitely eat off of one cupcake. Unfortunately, I found the vanilla to not really taste like anything but the icing helped it. Many people liked the brown sugar. My issue was with the cupcake icing. It looked extremely lazy to me. They're supposed to be pumpkins but the stem is not even recognizable and they used such a dull brown color for it. Some of the stems were even falling off the cupcake onto the cupcake liner. The inspo pic had some green leaves on it and I found it almost as if the bakery was too lazy to mix some green icing? Or they did the cupcake order last minute? Or weren't confident in the execution? Not sure, but I was totally disappointed in the cupcake decorations mainly because it was so expensive and it looked like icing I could've done. I thought I was overreacting but many people agreed with me. Regardless of this, they did make the order on time. My friend asked me why I didn't say anything at the bakery when I picked them up but I picked them up at 9 am and the baby shower was at 1pm. So I didn't have time to request them to re-do the icing on 25 cupcakes. Plus, there were alot of people in line and I didn't want to be that customer. Regardless, I'd probably pay again for the cookies although it was about $6/cookie and probably would skip on the cupcakes.

    Berry Scone

I absolutely hate scones...with that said, their berry scone is effing amazing! Hard exterior (but not burnt) and soft, fluffy, interior. They don't skimp on the berries either. Some sort of glaze and a sprinkled sugar finish to add that necessary crunch. Also got their brown sugar iced coffee- a tad sweet for me but still really great! Folks that work here are also very nice! Definitely coming back

Village sweet has far exceeded my expectations every time I use them! These are incredible and unique and made us laugh out loud! Just perfect! Highly recommend!

Ordered custom baby yoda cookies for my daughter's birthday party and it did not disappoint. So happy with how they turned out.

I have been to the Village sweet over a dozen times and they never disappoint. What makes this place so special are the women who make these delicious treats. Most often Bakery items are sweet or have a single strong flavor. At the Village sweet they have mastered the art of baking. Their scones are crispy, slightly sweet, chocolaty, hints of orange and have an amazing mouthfeel. The coffee is very good. The atmosphere is warm, they could use a few more chairs and tables. But the ones that are there are comfortable.

Wow, what a great addition to the Arlington Westover community! Village Sweet features baked goods and coffee, but also has savory options such as quiche. I tried the Coconut Pound Cake and the Jammy Raspberry Oat Grain Bar. Both of them blew me away. One of the kids in our group exclaimed that it was the best pound cake he ever had! My wife had the granola parfait and loved every last bit of it. But before you even get to the food, the decor and atmosphere will lure you in and make you want to linger awhile. The warm decor reminds you of a friendly shop in New York City and is very tastefully done with lots of unique touches. The counters and bars feature beautiful reclaimed wood. If you look up, you'll find a wonderful pressed tin ceiling with very cool exposed lighting. Oh, and if you care about the environment, you'll like to know they offer a wide variety of organic and natural drinks as well as compostable cups. I can't wait to go back!

The incredibly delicious Breakfast Bread! SOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you how long I've wished for a delicious, cozy and friendly bakery in Westover, a place to sit and enjoy a no-frills (but very good) cup of coffee and nibble on a sweet treat. Village Sweet is just that place!!! The staff are friendly and delightful to chat with, and my muffin choice today, known as the Breakfast Bread, was so insanely delicious without being overly sweet that I bought a second one! I can't recommend this little place enough!! And definitely try the Breakfast Bread! It looks a little small on the display stand, but I'm being totally honest when I say I don't think I've ever tasted a more delicious muffin. It's like a perfectly dense lightly spiced carrot cake muffin with apple slices and huge chucks of walnuts. A perfectly balanced set of flavors!!

I've had the pie and coffee before and loved. But the other items are new. I'll start with the McLovin: it's incredible! All the flavors work together nicely.
