So we were looking for a place called the pinball basement and ironically this is the place we were looking for only they had moved from their original location and we didnt know it is a pie shop. Annnnnnnndddd we came here on pi day lol so weird. I found this place while exploring yelp options and my main intent was to introduce my son to the simple joys and nostalgia of playing pinball. He loved it! We probably spent 2 hours playing. It definitely bought me back to my childhood and I felt like I was a kid in candy store for a day. However, my hands began to cramp and I was snapped back into reality that I was not a kid. So I decided to take a pie break and ordered the pecan pie for myself and the apple pie for my son. It was pretty good for $6 each. It was definitely a nice treat and I look forward to trying this banana pie they had. I never saw a menu, so I am assuming that flavors change regularly. They offered a variety of can sodas, milk, and coffee to enjoy with your pie. Inside reminds me of a diner. Its pretty small with limited sitting. But people are definitely rotating in and out as they are there to just enjoy a quick slice. We really only came here to get out the house and do something different. We came to play the different pinball machines but if you dont live close to this pie shop I dont know if the trip for pie is worth it. I wont say that it was mouth watering good, it was just okay. Nothing spectacular. If you're in the area or just bored and have nothing else to do which is my new norm, by all means take the trip and get out the house to enjoy a good game of pinball.to your fingers hurt and get you some pie afterwards. Btw a day pass to play is $10 per person. That not too bad in my opinion considering how long we stayed to play as the time passed by.

A bit disappointed. I was excited to try this place - especially since they have pinball and I thought it would be fun to play while my wife picked pie, but that is just not how it goes here. There is a sign as you walk in that says pinball is not free. No worries I loaded up on quarters before I came. But it's 10 bucks to play for an hour. Seriously? I was just looking for a quick game or 2. Bought over 100$ in pies and they want 10$ for some pinball? The worker here was disinterested and best. Savory pie was good. Apple was kind of dry, same with the others we got for a party which is disappointing. Probably will not return. MB bakery is better in quality and price.

So many options of pie and pin ball options! Owner is ready with many suggestions and pie reheat instructions! Love the pie/ gaming vibe - retro yet dinner-esque! Prices are 10/10!!

Editing rating since it was the special circumstances that made for not the best experience. However the pies themselves were good and the staff seemed to be putting in their best effort, so will perhaps have to come back on a normal day -- We went on pi day since they had 3.14 slices in store. The line was really long and people were grabbing entire pies and flavors were running out very quickly. We got there about 10 mins after they opened and it took us an hour to get food. It would've been nice if they had had a limit to ensure more people were able to try some and so the line could move a bit faster The pies in store were also refrigerated so we ended up taking it home to heat it up. The slices themselves were good but perhaps not worth the effort. The staff seemed a little stressed which is fair.

Apple pie for July is just the kind of pie that we were looking for. We had been here a couple of times in the past, and their pies are definitely the gourmet type. Baked fresh every day, and they have just the right amount of ingredients. So many times in the past when we would get pies from the grocery store, they would either be too sweet, or the crust would be super hard. I also appreciate that here it's a locally owned business, and I think the guy remembers me from shopping here before. We've tried their apple strussel pie, and key lime pies before and they e been outstanding. We will continue to shop here for as long as we remain in the area.

What a cool place! Have you ever thought of combining a pie shop with an arcade? Look no further than Acme. Can't decide which pie slices you want? Get a sampler platter of 8 slices for $40. We got the super chunk nut crunch pie which had a mix of things in it and the watermelon peach. We asked the woman working which she recommended and she walked us through a few options and was very helpful in describing how they come up with the flavors and if it is a pie that they have often. The watermelon peach was such a fun mixture I had never seen before, and it was incredible. They also have a coconut custard with almonds and chocolate and a blueberry with lemon curd that I will be returning to try. When you walk in on the left there are a number of arcade games. You have to buy a monthly pass or day pass if you'd like to play.

    BlackBerry and Apple Pies
    Milin P.

Cool little pie shop with a bunch of pinball machines. Tried the Apple and Blackberry pies. The Apple was good but nothing special which is a little disappointing from a specialty pie shop. The blackberry on the other hand was very unique, deep flavor from spices in the filling, worth trying out. Decently priced around $6/slice. Overall cute spot and worth a visit if you're in the area at one of the nearby restaurants and looking for a sweet treat

    Posted hours that are confusing

I came by on Sunday at this suggestion of my wife to check out your pies The gentleman who is there with a nice beard and mustache told me that pie orders are closed on 10 October yesterday was 23 November for Thanksgiving, which I think would be this coming Thursday Literally, it's like a month and a half in advance in order to order pies OK, there are other things I can order. He did say that starting December 1 I can order pies for Christmas. I decided to order a slice of cherry pie. I wasn't impressed with it, but I read somewhere that the cherry pie was supposed to have a little hint of clove flavor. Now for the real showstopper You advertise that you serve breakfast from 7 AM to 10 AM That could be very useful for people in fact on Monday morning I came that's done 24 November and I found out you're closed Monday and Tuesday not very useful Oh, I see on Wednesday. You're only open from 3 PM to 9 PM same with Thursday and Friday but you are open at 7 AM on Saturday and Sunday so I suppose I could buy breakfast then If you're going to offer breakfast to people in the way of cheese biscuits, it would be a good idea that you actually have more regular hours for what it's useful for them. It's also better to put out clear and concise hours that you're actually open so that people don't drive there to find that they're closed like I did this Monday

    Key Lime Pie

I came here while visiting family in Arlington and boy am I glad I did. There was ample parking in the parking lot and some great pies! I ordered the key lime pie and walnut chocolate pie. OMG! They were sooo good, the lady who helped me also gave me a free pie on the house, THANK YOU for that. I honestly wanted to try a slice of each pie but wifey wasn't going to allow me to do that but i'll be back to try at least 3 more slices of different pies. Key Lime- If you love sour this is the one for you. The key lime is very strong and for people who love sour, you'll enjoy this one. Walnut Chocolate Pie- If you're a fan of pecan pie then you're going to love this one. Honestly I really enjoyed it because it wasn't sweet like normal pecan pie. Anyhoo, no matter what pie or slice you try, you're going to love this spot. Trust me on that.

The chocolate chess pie had a decent flavor but lacked the richness and depth I expected. It was enjoyable, but not memorable. Similarly, the cherry pie was average, with a standard crust and filling that didn't stand out. Overall, both pies were mediocre and didn't leave a lasting impression. It reminded us of store bought pie. The customer service was amazing and the worker answered all of our questions. She was very helpful. It is a nice small shop. We loved the pinball machines.

Strawberry eclair - smaller than previous. Also, the shell is consistently overcooked now. Quiches - these are around a third of the previous size. Sometimes they are overcooked and dry. Also, the mixed veggie quiche is much smaller in depth to the spinach one Various danishes (cheese, apple, cherry, sticky buns) - all around a third of their previous size. Still great quality and tasty though Sfogliatella (Italian pastry) - surprisingly, these are larger than they used to be. These are not good anymore though. The filling tastes good, but it's a weird texture now that they make it larger. The pastry shell is really hard and chewy now that they are larger. These used to be the greatest ever. It's a shame. Cannoli - tried this for the first time today. Won't ever do that again. The shell was good and crispy. The filling was a weird color and had tiny chocolate chips in it. You could tell it was several days old because the chips were soggy. Also, they filled it when we ordered it - and they just put a tiny bit of filling in it so we could actually see through the shell. Not good.
