These people came into my home due to a ceiling leak, cut a hole in our ceiling, and practically ran out of the house coughing saying we had horrible black mold and he couldn't do anything until we had a drying/lead/asbestos service come in first. Only then would he return to fix the leak. He (and the drying people) gave me an elaborate explanation of why they had to dry the area before finding the leak. More than a week went by before anything had been done, and still, we had a leak and were still not able to use our upstairs toilet, bathtub, or sink. He also quoted me around $1,200-$1,800 to install a pedestal sink and facet, stating he hated installing those tyope of sinks and it needed to be "worth his while". When we contacted another plumber, they quoted us $250 for the sink/facet installation, and we thought we'd have him take a peek at our leak in the ceiling. I kid you not, within 15 minutes he sussed out the issue and within 1.5 hours he fixed the problem (this included troubleshooting: turning on/off the water, etc). He charged us $250. He also looked at the piece of drywall that these people removed and said it was just wet dirt, and it is very rare to have black mold, and a certain test needs to be done to determine black mold. Not only did we have to pay these people more than $250 for coming out, cutting open our ceiling, and running/coughing from the "mold" (and not dealing with the problem), we now have to pay more than $1,000 for the drying people who never did anything but forced us to get asbestos/lead testing, and we have to pay for all that unnecessary testing. We also still have to pay for someone to paint and close up the holes (yes, plural: holes, as the asbestos people found it necessary to make a new hole for lead/asbestos testing), and of course, we paid the new plumber to fix the leak. Beware: All these people are crooks, and in the pockets of each other! He is used to working with people who have money to burn, but takes advantage of the little guy, expecting their insurance to pay for all the other services, and he still needs to be paid out of pocket and is not a part of the insurance claim. Our insurance deductible was $1,000, and here the other (honest) plumber only charged us $250 (that included materials), and wouldn't have had to cut a hole in our ceiling.-Shame on Vincelli Plumbing!

He took advantage of me as a senior citizen and charged me over $300 when he was here for 40 minutes.

Since all of our homes were built around the same time, I assumed my water heater was also 17 years old and might need replacement soon. After I sent photos of my water heater and the model details, Ti took the time to look up the serial/model number on the Bradford White website and discovered that my unit was actually only 11 years old, not 17 as I had thought. He texted me back and asked for clearer photos to confirm the manufacturing date. I called him right away, and even though I currently have no issues with my water heater, he generously spent time explaining everything in detail. He told me that Bradford White is a very reliable water heater and that this model generally does not require routine tank draining for maintenance. He also gave me valuable advice for the future, recommending that when I eventually replace the unit, I should install it on a metal drain pan with moisture detection for leak protection. I was genuinely impressed by his honesty, knowledge, and willingness to help without trying to sell me something I don't need right now. He could have easily pushed for a replacement, but instead he gave me thoughtful, professional advice and saved me unnecessary expense. I truly appreciate the time he spent helping me over the phone, and I would absolutely recommend Sutherland to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable professional.

Needed new water heater, got quotes from Fusion and Home Depot. HD was 20% less BUT only quoted…read morethe water heater and the install with the caveat that any addition items or work would be added on. I've worked with HD before, and have had no issue, so I think they are fine I have no beef with them. Fusion gave a detailed quote of all items to be replaced and the model of water heater. The quote included new water hoses (stainless steel) , new gas hose, new earthquake straps, the addition of an expansion tank (which I think is now required for code). Everything that the job needed was on the quote. Baring unforeseen issues (which happen) I knew exactly what the cost was going to be. Some of the items may have not absolutely needed replacement, but you don't want a $30 hose to ruin a $800 water heater (which is what happened to my last water heater and why we are here today). The solution provided was complete. HD may have had a less expensive quote, but it would have gone up, so I think in the end HD was not really a better price. Given the good reviews online and detailed quote at what I felt was a fair price, the job went to fusion. From inquiry to initial response was very quick, a couple of hours maybe. All communication was timely. Install date was set for three days after my inquiry. The day of the install they were a little late, but I got a text communicating that and an arrival time. I appreciated that very much. When they showed John introduced himself, very polite, nice guy. Then they went to work. They completed the job in a few hours. They left the work area clean and removed the old water heater. The install was beautiful, I know it's a water heater, but damn it was a clean install. Fusion gets five stars. There is no aspect of this job that I can suggest a need for improvement. Price: Five Stars, since the price was close to HD, I feel that I paid a fair price Communication: Five Stars, responsive and let me know they were running late Install: five stars, you can just tell that they paid attention to detail and did a clean job. I feel that I didn't pay a premium for that attention to detail. Attitude: five stars, John's a really nice guy Thank you Fusion, I really appreciate the quality of the job you did.

Brenden was exceptional!…read more We just moved into our home. We had a home inspection and our plumbing came back all good! A couple days after we moved in, we kept hearing the most bizarre sounds in the wall. We researched plumbing companies & Cornels came right up. I reached out on a Tuesday and got a response within minutes! We were able to chat via text which was honestly very convenient. They were able to address my concerns professionally & were soooo friendly. I was able to get scheduled the very next day. Wednesday morning rolled around and I got a text with Brenden's picture, which made me feel super safe and even provided a little information about him. He then called and asked if it was a good time for him to head over and gave his ETA. When Brenden arrived he was friendly, warm, and so professional. He was able to easily see what was going on, explain to me in a way I could understand what was going on, and assured me if we still continued to hear the noise to call back. I truly will call Cornels for any of our plumbing or heating needs!! Brenden was wonderful & secured a life long costumer!

He said ge would not service it because it will only make it a couple of weeks. They charged me $89 anyways. I called and got a refund since they refused to service it. Nice that they refunded money for service they never performed. They gave me an estimate of over 10k to replace it. I called clean air act. They serviced it up and said it's still has a lot of life left. Now 2026 Chris is texting me wanting to service it on a special of $49. Why? So they can refuse to service it again? They only want to replace units not service them. Here is a picture how they left it last summer. Refused to clean it too. It is still running strong.
