I'm in a cottage-esque, tiny house living place and it's divine. Cats come round to say 'hey, bud, can I help you light up that grill for you?' The cats show us that there's plenty of ice that we can enjoy on our porches. 2 porches, they correct us. Trees! Plants! a really noisy cricket! full size fridge-and stove! 2 robes are in the closet! In a word: noisy. We paid extra for parking away from the Hwy 101 freeway that borders this park. Don't waste your money. There isn't a row in the park that isn't noisy. Otherwise, this is a nice park with good spaces. As a side-note: we did have to sweep spiders/webs away from the hookups, but that wasn't a big deal. The key item is the noise - of the eight parks we have visited in the last three months, this was the worst for noise. read more

The nicest RV Resort I've ever seen! It's brand new and beautiful. It really embodies the "resort" title. You can tell a lot of love from the Marsden family was poured into this property. Every detail was spared no expense. The previous building was used as a church and had a beautiful steeple. This was saved and the building was expanded upon to include a bar, library, and banquet hall with gorgeous chandeliers. The pool area has a jacuzzi, adult pool and a family pool. Always a plus! The pools are also solar and were a comfortable 90'. There are showers, laundry facilities, two barbecues(Santa Maria style and propane). The RV sites are paved with stamped concrete(another extra touch) and upgraded patio tables, seats 8. The trees were all planted by the owner only a year ago so they are still young but will be tall, lush and beautiful very soon. From the minute we called the Resort to the moment we left, our experience was warm and professional with every staff member we met. Including our time chatting with Karen the owner in the lounge. She really cares about this place and her guests. Looking forward to coming back to Vines and Paso really soon. read more

EXCELLENT RV RESORT!!! You will not regret your stay there! Online reservations was a breeze. Price was right. The office staff Samantha, Dave, Bonnie, Bob, Fred & Alice were all very sweet, helpful & friendly. They escort you to your site, WOW! The sites are beautiful huge stamped concrete slabs with lots of room for your RV and extra tables, chairs etc. The ENTIRE park is kept very clean & neat. It's a newer park the trees & shrubs are still small, but they will grow. The bathrooms/showers look like the ones at the RITZ, very fancy. By the BEAUTY of it all one can admire that the owners sure took lots pride, thought & lots of money when building this RV resort for all of us to enjoy. We liked that they came around in a golf cart and picked up our garbage & recycle bags:) Although it is close to Hwy 101, the noise didn't bother us. With all these great amenities there is one thing we would like for the resort to consider. Most people are on vacation so it would be GREAT if they can keep the pools, jacuzzi open at least til 11pm. Who ever wants to go to bed early, go. We had a five RV party. The staff was absolutely top drawer. They accommodated our every need. We cannot wait to get back there (October 2016). The resort was clean and well maintained. Even the freeway noise was made tolerable because we were having such a nice time. read more

Our recent stay at the Vines was as always a great experience. However did notice Pool side chaise lounges (all six of them) are severely sun damaged and subject to collaspe and certainly a liability. There was one shower room that had no shower head and another that had a damaged shower head. The bathroom walls had experienced some graffiti and damaging carving .......I have to say that overall it appears that onsite maintenance has declined. Stayed in mid July. Late check in was a breeze. Pull through sites are very accommodating, but a little narrow. hook ups are easy access. Two faucets per site. Electrical is both 50 and 30 amp equipped. All sites are stamped concrete slabs and only required one block for leveling. Sites have a picnic table and small trees. The rest rooms and showers were the nicest I have ever seen at an rv resort. Wish they had a better cleaning schedule. Its a shame to see such beautiful facilities with lots of dirty foot prints and hair at all hours. Rest rooms were marbel and high end. Two pools on site. A large lap pool for adults only, and a smaller pool for kids. However, the smaller pool was usually closed. Both pools were kept about 90 ° both pools officially close at 9 pm. The jacuzzi was a nice size and maintained at 103. Was very clean but in bad need of shock. The lounge was simply gorgeous. Beautifully decorated. The bar area was scheduled to be open from 5pm to 9pm, but I only saw it open one night all week. The bartender was super nice and helped with restaurant recommendations. The location was nice, just 3 miles north of 46 on the 101. The road noise was a bit loud, a wall would be an awesome addition. This location seems to focus on the over night stop and long term guests. The manager, although harmless, was fun to watch stalk guests and chastise them on garbage. And he enjoys gossiping about others who dare throw their own trash out rather than leave it on the ground in the wind. Trash cans would resolve this. Cable servive is excellent. Local wifi provides great coverage but slow at times. I would most definitely stay here again... read more

Great resort except.... for the day when a huge party took over the pool with 30+ kids and 50 or so additional guests from 2 pm till midnight. This resort rents out their facilities for a small fee, around the same as 1 night in the RV park. No noise ordinance enforced, and the huge amount of additional non-park guests made the pool and hot tubs totally unusable. There were 30-40 kids in each of the pools at one time. Little kids in the hot tub all day and night, even though it says 14+. Loud music, and yelling. No security. Beautiful grounds otherwise but we feel that it's bad judgement on the resort manager's part to let non-RVers overrun the park for 10+ hours for the price of 1 night in the park. It's not fair and something I have not seen at any other park (and I have been to many, and don't mind paying more for a luxury park). Not like this is a city park or city pool. It ruined our trip and it wasn't something you'd expect when you vacation at an expensive $90+/night RV resort. One should be able to use the pools and hot tubs and if they are full, at least have it be paying RV park guests. read more

This is a brand new RV park right off the 101 in the less scenic part of Paso Robles. This RV park is probably the closest to the 101 I've stayed at so far and freeway noise was definitely the worst thing about this place. It didn't interfere with sleep, but it was much less relaxing at night while laying in bed. They have 2 large pools and a jacuzzi, a nice bbq area with cornhole (no grills at sites), and a small library-some of the nicest amenities we saw throughout our weeklong RV trip. The sites are level and decent in size with full hook-ups, and as private as could be with such immature foliage. They give you 3 rates to choose from depending on if you want a pull through or something a little further from the freeway, all very close in price. I think we paid $75 and were the farthest row from the highway. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and overall we had a decent stay here, though I'm not sure I would return due to the lack of scenery and loud freeway noise. read more

New and clean! Sites are mostly back-in and roomy but they do have some pull-thru. Some sites are right against the 101 and if I were to choose, I would get a site in another row. Noise is not bad, but nice to be a row away. Great dog park just outside the north end of the park. They also have cabins which look nice. Pool is open but we did not use. No site escort. Wifi is Tengo and worked well most of the time. Cable very very limited and no ESPN which was an issue for us as we stayed over the New Year's holiday. Great location close to wineries, downtown Paso and a short drive to the coast. We would definitey stay again. Front desk staff was exceptional. read more

What a clean, beautiful RV park. Everything is new, the bathrooms are gorgeous with granite, and a very large private shower areas. Laundry facilities are clean, but no detergent machines, but you can buy it in the little store they have. They have a beautiful library full of books for the young kids to the old. They have games as well that can be borrowed. The pools and spa are clean, nice with out door barbeque areas. There is a wine and beer bar, but unfortunately it was not open on the week days that we were there, so we did not get to try it. Our site was an easy, large, back in site. We ventured across the highway and found the most delicious restaurant, Jose's! A little hole in the wall place by the truck stop, but the food was absolutely delicious, home style and with fair prices. Just be careful crossing the highway!! We would certainly stay here again. Office staff was very friendly and accomodating. We were not bothered by freeway noise as others have mentioned. read more

This resort just opened and it is great. Friendly staff and owners, and very nice. The pool area is great with handicap access to the pools and spa. The bar and party rooms are outstanding. Just a little north of Paso Robles on 101. They also have a nice pet area. read more

We've stayed at this resort twice now and will return. The sites are spacious and clean. The restrooms with showers are by far the nicest I've ever seen in an RV resort. The pool area is very nice with a separate adult pool plus a shade structure for those that need/want shade. I can tune out the highway noise fairly easy so it is not really a factor for us. The office suggested a couple of local wineries to visit and gave us coupons for waived tasting fees. It's location makes it ideal to visit Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, or just the local favorites of Paso Robles. I recommend! read more

This was the best family weekend ever! We all met for Thanksgiving at the Vines, this is the cleanest, friendliest, most convienant resort . We had family stay in the cabins and use the Rv park. Hands down this is the best resort we have ever visited. The manager Cindy was so helpful and always available, And FYI the pool is heated in the winter we enjoyed the pool and hot tub after dinner and didn't get kicked out after hours. We used the meeting room which is more like a ball room all day watched football and played games. The facilities are extremely clean. Due to a mix up we stayed here.We normally stay at Wine Country RV Resort. The Gold Standard. Anyways, went to check in and instead of a friendly greeting I got a barked "Your name?". Overall the facilities are clean and well maintained and the level concrete pad helped, but this was offset by a very heavy picnic table for 8 that took almost a forklift to move. The blue 'bots dots' apparently were there to provide a measure of distance for the slide outs. That wasn't that obvious plus it didn't work for me. Parking your tow vehicle can be a bit awkward as there is no room and so it sticks out into the driveway. The WiFi was a so so thing even though we were very near it. All the amenities are at one end of the park, thus if you're at the other end, it's a long walk. I'm still working on the glass of wine for $8.50. You're kidding right?Did I mention the traffic noise from Hiway 101? The Hiway sits about 6ft higher than the RV park. It wouldn't take much to install some 10ft high wires, etc. and populate them with vines of some type. It would make an effective sound barrier. Every once in a while the train comes through on the other side and the engineer will lean into the horn. If that's not enough, the folks that have adjacent property are into wind chimes. For what we got and it is, it's way overpriced. read more

Beautiful clean RV park with level concrete pads. On the map it looks close to highway 101, but its far enough away that you can hardly hear the cars and its not a grade so the trucks do not have to use air brakes. When we were in our fifth wheel we heard no sound. The park is right in the middle of the Santa Rosa wine country. Right across the 101 is an excellent truck stop type station with the lowest prices in town (we got diesel for 3.99 per gallon). They have a beautiful lounge and bar with a new pool table. It looks like an upscale bar. Our group had a barbecue on the patio area and the help prepared the upscale barbecue grill for us. We had our dinner inside the carpeted rec room. The park has new owners that are committed to solving any problems with the park. The management was kind enough to carefully listen to our suggestions and they even gave us complimentary wine coupons for the bar. The wine was awesome. They plan to increase the bandwidth of the WIFI, also they plan to get the fuzzy cable signal corrected. The cable picks up too much noise when the park is full. They even have two dog parks. One is reserved for small dogs (great for my Shih Tzu). I noticed the complaint about the bathrooms being closed. We talked to the management about that and they plan to change their cleaning hours. Maybe afternoon would be better for cleaning the bathrooms. The company that owns this park also owns wine country RV resort on 46. We plan to come back to this park next year. read more
