The restaurant is nicely decorated, it gives modern Italian vibes. We went on a random weekday, wasn't overly busy. The service was excellent, prompt and polite. The menu spans most traditional Italian fair from pizzas to pasta to meat entrees. We ordered the calamari to start, was delicious and fresh served with marinara. The wine selection is pretty provost offering bottles and glasses. I ordered the lamb chops and player 2 the seafood pasta. I was barely able to get a picture in before we dove in. The food smelled excellent and tasted even better. The lamb wasn't gamey , always a fear of mine, and cooked perfectly. Grape Vine Cafe is a very nice Neighborhood Italian/Mediterranean Restaurant and Wine Bar located near or in Centennial. Their menu is mostly Italian but is also accented with some Greek and offers a nice selection of meats and seafood. Inside is rich and comfortable. They also offer a nice partially enclosed dog friendly patio. For our first visit we decided to try lunch (M-F). There is a lot of offerings on the lunch menu. They also happen to offer at least EIGHT different salads that all sound delicious so I thought this would be a great choice to dine here. Even at lunch time they started us off with fresh baked tasty bread and creamy butter. My husband wanted to try the soup of the day and tried a soup called Toscano. It was a creamy soup with sausage, potatoes, and kale and he said that it was very good. We decided to try the baked brie appetizer because that sounded super tasty. The brie was embellished with hazelnuts, caramelized onions, apricot preserved, and was wrapped in a crunchy pastry crust. It came with sweet pear slices, grapes, and buttered toasts. It was tasty and substantial. It ran a little on the sweet side. I think some people could also enjoy this as dessert. For us this seemed like maybe four servings so we had half and brought the rest home. I tried the Beet and Grilled Salmon salad. They don't ask on how you'd like the salmon so I was a bit nervous about it but thankfully it came out reasonably good. The salmon was prepared well done but it was still very moist and didn't have that over cooked taste so that was good to me. The salad was very nice and freshly made. It was adorned with with generous pieces of cooked beets that were topped with goat cheese. The soft mixed green salad had fresh roasted red peppers and sweet candied walnuts so it was tasty. My husband enjoyed the Chicken Parm. He already wants to come back again. We were too full to even think about dessert. Our server was very nice, helpful, efficient, and friendly. Perfect. Between the incredible service and the fantastic food this place does not disappoint. It's a small but big place and perfectly decorated. I had the mussel appetizer which honestly the best I've had. They were huge and the white wine sauce was so good. If you like pizza for sure get it. We ordered the baked Brie, yummy and the pastry pouch was unique, the penne a la vodka with shrimp, this was above average, the pasta shrimp was too seasoned for my liking and I like my pasta cooked al dente, which it wasn't here. We went to Grapevine for the 4-course wine dinner featuring Cakebread Cellars wines--- all for $125/person. And what a fabulous experience it was! We signed up to be alerted for the wine dinners.We were so impressed with everything: * We were warmly greeted at the door and led to our table * Our table was visited by so many people on the staff --- the owner, the manager, the servers, etc. Each one was friendly, accommodating and conversant. * There were several glasses for the different wines, and each pour was very generous * The menu for the evening was excellent. Main course was perfectly cooked beef tenderloin. And dessert was a a delicious mango/guava gelato. Every single bite, taste was outstanding. * Very good choices of wines to go with each course. Having the sommelier on hand to give us a background on Cakebread Cellars, and say something about each wine was both entertaining and helpful. * AND! There were several raffle prizes (wine, of course). We are most certainly looking forward to the next wine dinner. First time coming here and it's very cute. White table cloth but comfortable dining. People were wearing all different attire. Some dressed up and some people dressed down. We visited on Thursday for lunch with a party of four and it was a nice experience. We entered and were greeted and seated right away. The dining area is large and clean. The waitress arrived and took drink orders. We started with appetizers; Stuffed Shrimp and Baked Brie. Both were very good, be advised that the Brie takes a while to prepare. From there we went with Seafood Fra Diavolo, Baked Manicotti, and Mushroom Ravioli. All the food was excellent, the Fra Diavolo was the best I ever had. The side Caesars salad were also excellent. The reason they lost one star is that there was only one waitress and one busser for the entire dining room. The waitress was also answering the phone and getting takeout orders, so she was spread way too thin. There were excessive waits for refills and the check, I would suggest putting more staff on the floor. Overall, excellent food. read more

Oh boy! I was so excited to try this place. We ordered the stuffed shrimp (which didn't come stuffed), we also ordered the mussels which we thought would come in a bowl like most restaurants, but it came with only six mussels which was very chewy and fishy, the calamari we ordered wasn't crispy enough too. Honestly, the only thing we really enjoyed was the clam chowder soup. The service was slower. I asked for a lemon with my beer and the waitress brought a lime. She didn't come back for a while so I had to ask someone else for a lemon. All in all, I didn't enjoy my experience and probably will not be back. read more

It's fair to say I miss the Old Grape Street, while the menu hasn't changed in years and there's still daily specials some of the little things that made it unique are gone. The house chopped salad in no longer chopped same ingredients but the presentation is different. The service was still fast and friendly with the waitress, the busser was a little inattentive bordering on intrusive at times reaching in for plates etc. The restaurant itself is still clean and well maintained, great for a special evening date or otherwise. Grape Vine keeps four stars since the main courses still came out well. It would be nice to see items labeled GF etc but we understand not every restaurant feels the need to. Great spot with good atmosphere. We head over from some nearby condos and could quickly tell this was a local favorite spot. Lots of wines by the glass and traditional Italian dishes. A lengthy dessert menu on the wall, and even a bar where you can watch sports! It seems like it meets the needs of various things, a place for a date, place to catch up with friends, solo bar drinking, and the crowd ranged from pearls and Sunday best to date night, to tees and tennies. The margherita pizza comes with a sprinkle of goat cheese and is probably about the right size for two people, and the they offer table bread with butter. Great service too! read more

Wow! I can't believe it's been almost 13 years since I've gone to, what was originally Grape Street, but now Grape Vine Café at Lake Mead/Buffalo. I had booked a reservation for 2 around 5:15 on a Friday evening to celebrate Valentines Day with my mother. I actually called a few hours in advance to see if we could come earlier, their team informed us that it would be no problem! We had arrived at around 3:30 for an early dinner! Check-in was a breeze! We informed the team member at the entrance our reservation for 2 and was immediately seated. The team member helping out our table had brought over waters and fresh bread with butter. The fresh bread with butter is complimentary, but only the first order. Any extras would be charged. As we looked at the menu, there was so many yummy dishes! Grape Vine Café had a wide range of sandwiches, burgers, pastas, and even pizzas! We ended up ordering the following Mr. C's Burger Provolone, grilled onions & mushrooms, lettuce, tomato. No garlic on the French Fries Fettuccine Alfredo Fettuccine, tomatoes, green peas, alfredo sauce with blackened chicken. The service was absolutely amazing at this restaurant. The team member assisting our table was constantly checking up and refilling our drinks. When the entrees came out to the table, he made sure that we had ketchup, and that parmesan cheese was offered for the pasta! My mom enjoyed her burger. It was relatively large, so there was a good amount of food left over for the next day! The burger wasn't overcooked and had a lot of seasoning, especially with all of the extra toppings. I did not enjoy the fettucine alfredo. The cream sauce was too spicy. The blackened chicken was rubbery and chewy. The additional ingredients such as tomatoes included, you didn't get the butter or parmesan flavors in the alfredo sauce. I would not order that dish again. The atmosphere is wonderful at this restaurant though and the team members are awesome! It feels like you're eating a meal in a wine cellar, pretty cool! We were all very pleased with our meal, soup or salad included with entrees. Very attentive server and staff. Our server was friendly and personable, though he seemed a bit distracted at times--bringing the complimentary bread, for example, took longer than expected. For the meal, I ordered the branzino, and I was impressed. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a light crispiness on the outside and no overly "fishy" taste, which I appreciated. It came with a choice of soup, and I went with the clam chowder. The chowder was on the thinner side, but I actually enjoyed that it didn't have potatoes, keeping it light. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, and it was excellent--a lovely way to end the meal. Overall, I'd say this place is worth trying if you're in the area. Five of us went to Grape Vine Cafe for lunch and all of us loved it. The restaurant was not busy as it was a weekday afternoon so it was reasonably quiet which facilitates conversation quiet conversation in a group like ours. Everyone loved their lunch. We had one Chilean sea bass, one braised shortribs, two seafood fra diavolo and one Greek salad with blackened salmon. Two people shared the Caprese and enjoyed it. The Italian bread for the table was fresh, warm and delicious. The main courses were great and the mushroom risotto which accompanied the shortribs, which is what I had, was excellent. Our waiter was excellent; attentive but not intrusive. I've been to Grape Vine Cafe many times for lunch and dinner and always enjoyed it. It's a really great neighborhood spot. read more

there is ample parking and interior and exterior seating here! The ambiance is very romantic and intimate. It's dimly lit and perfect for special occasions or date nights! The moment I came in I was greeted instantly and helped to my seat where my party was at. The service here was exceptional. All of the staff was attentive to our needs whether that was extra sauces, refills, clearing plates. We started with the caprese and the calamari. The caprese was very good. I wasn't a big fan of the pine nuts I just don't prefer nuts along with this kind of dish but it wasn't too bad. They were generous with the mozzarella which was nice! The calamari was just okay, the flavor was a little bland but the sauces made up for it! The marinara and Rhode Island sauce were both exquisite. The complimentary bread that was given was crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The butter melted the moment it touched the bread! As I waited for my main entree it came with a salad, I opted for the regular Caesar salad and they have HOUSEMADE croutons in this. I could taste the difference! I had my table try the croutons and they were shocked by the flavor For my main dish I got the chicken Parmesan. The cheese was melted on there beautifully and the chicken was breaded nicely. It was a little hard to cut through but it was tender inside. I tried some of their pizza as well, and again the dough is made in house as well! It was fluffy and cooked perfectly. The crust was nice and thick as well, and the sauce was not too oily which I really loved. All in all this was a great experience and this is such a beautiful restaurant. Memorable. In December 2025, we celebrated my mother's 100th birthday with 26 guests at Grapevine. Linda, the owner, was gracious helping me through all the pre-planning to accommodate the menu, guests' individual needs, food selections, etc. The food was spectacular. And guests are still talking about how delicious and wonderful the evening went. Some guests had never eaten at that restaurant and plan to return. As for my immediate family, we have spent years frequenting this restaurant. Huge kudos to Marcella and Jasmine, our main servers, who were gracious, professional, and simply amazing. There were other staff members who helped that night,from the beautiful receptionist to servers/assistants/bussers, kitchen/bar workers who also helped me carry in our table decor, setting up and tearing down, packing up and getting everything back to our cars afterward. I ordered over the phone for takeout and was told 15 minutes which was perfect as I was heading out of work. I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo based on photos and reviews I saw. When I got there - the inside was super cute and romantic. They did have a bar in the middle (in case next time I want to eat in and I'm alone which sometimes what I like to do since I travel For work a lot). I was greeted by a hostess who was also the one who went to grab the food and brought over a check for me to pay at the stand. Once I got back to my hotel - I was delighted to get a freshly baked tiny loaf of bread. It was yummy and soft in the middle but crisp out the outside. Some butter would have been nice too but I didn't get any. The past was delicious. I stuffed myself full. The shrimp in there were big. There were a couple of muscles, clams, calamari, and scallops. I was asked at time of order if I wanted red or white sauce. I opted red since I feel that is more ideal for this dish. It was great! The pasta was also cooked nicely.
