Our first time here and first thing we notice is that this is a neighborhood spot and a lot of regulars which was really cool to see! We ordered the baked Brie, yummy and the pastry pouch was unique, the penne a la vodka with shrimp, this was above average, the pasta shrimp was too seasoned for my liking and I like my pasta cooked al dente, which it wasn't here. And lastly, the sausage, onion, jalapeño pizza, which was not bad either. A bit on the sweet side for me, but I still enjoyed it. The service was great and very friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe here!

Happy to be at our fave place w/ our fave people in front of + behind the camera. Always a wonderful time

If you're looking for a nice, quiet spot (we went on a Monday, 4:30, and for the first little bit were literally the only ones there) to catch up with a friend and enjoy yummy food, this is the place! We shared a bottle of half-off wine, and I had the chicken piccata--scrumptious! Add in the table bread and we were quite happy. Server was attentive and never rushed us, provided great menu recommendations, and was friendly. It had been many years since I'd been here, but will be back!

It was a bella notté at Grape Vine. Better than I expected. Reservations were made a couple of days in advance. A special Valentine's Day menu was featured. A saxophonist highlighted the music playing to set a mood. The customer service, ambiance, and food were all excellent. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. I noticed Branzino listed on a menu posted on a wall. We shall return.

Excellent family friendly cafe. Our waitress was wonderful. Our grandson loved the family atmosphere and the spaghetti.

We went to Grapevine for the 4-course wine dinner featuring Cakebread Cellars wines--- all for $125/person. And what a fabulous experience it was! We signed up to be alerted for the wine dinners. We were so impressed with everything: * We were warmly greeted at the door and led to our table * Our table was visited by so many people on the staff --- the owner, the manager, the servers, etc. Each one was friendly, accommodating and conversant. * There were several glasses for the different wines, and each pour was very generous * The menu for the evening was excellent. Wish I had taken more pictures, but we were enjoying the meal so much which started with the most luscious salmon appetizer, followed by heirloom tomatoes with goat cheese. Main course was perfectly cooked beef tenderloin. And dessert was a a delicious mango/guava gelato. Every single bite, taste was outstanding. * Very good choices of wines to go with each course. Having the sommelier on hand to give us a background on Cakebread Cellars, and say something about each wine was both entertaining and helpful. * AND! There were several raffle prizes (wine, of course). We are most certainly looking forward to the next wine dinner. But in the meantime, we plan to go and try their happy hour (3-5, Tues/Wed/Thurs 3pm-5pm, featuring half priced glasses of Wine & Beer and discounted appetizers). The menu for dinners as well as their happy hours is incredibly appetizing. As for the ambiance --- it's truly a wine cellar. There's a bar in the middle of the restaurant, and there are walls of wine bottles. For the most part, they like to feature California wines. Made in the USA, yeah!

What a wonderful local find! I came here with one of my friends on a Friday and was so surprised by everything-this a wonderful restaurant. The service was spectacular. The sauce, the sauce, the sauce, the marinara sauce is all of that and so much more. I must admit I had a whole loaf of bread by myself, and ate it with this amazing sauce that went along with it. They have an remarkable selection of wines that pair very well with each dish. I definitely will be back.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in town (this location) because it reminds me of old Las Vegas where it was more about good meals and good conversation in a nice ambiance (if you know you know). This place has brick walls and a wine area that adds to its charm. The bar area is my favorite place to sit because you get a view of the whole restaurant, and the service is best there as well. The bartenders are usually very friendly and will strike up a convo with you. The rest of the service is subpar. Now let's get to the food. Let's start with, I've never had a bad meal at this location. Authentic Italian meals that are flavorful, rich and delicious. My favs: calamari, mushroom ravioli, blackened salmon Caesar salad, or fettuccine alfredo They will help you pair your food with one of their many selections of wines- there's a huge list and I've never been paired wrongly.

Check out Grape Vine Cafe and their music venue. In addition to delicious food and wine pairings you will enjoy the singers that show up and keep everyone entertained.

First time coming here and it's very cute. White table cloth but comfortable dining. People were wearing all different attire. Some dressed up and some people dressed down. We were sat in the very far back, right under the tv. I'm not going to lie... it made it not so cute n romantic. I wish we got sat somewhere with a light not shining down on us. The servers were awesome, very attentive with great recommendations. I was hoping the food would have been exceptional The food was a bit underwhelming. I hope it was just an off day for them

We visited on Thursday for lunch with a party of four and it was a nice experience. We entered and were greeted and seated right away. The dining area is large and clean. The waitress arrived and took drink orders. We started with appetizers; Stuffed Shrimp and Baked Brie. Both were very good, be advised that the Brie takes a while to prepare. From there we went with Seafood Fra Diavolo, Baked Manicotti, and Mushroom Ravioli. All the food was excellent, the Fra Diavolo was the best I ever had. The side Caesars salad were also excellent. The reason they lost one star is that there was only one waitress and one busser for the entire dining room. The waitress was also answering the phone and getting takeout orders, so she was spread way too thin. There were excessive waits for refills and the check, I would suggest putting more staff on the floor. Overall, excellent food.

Klair A.

Oh boy! I was so excited to try this place. We ordered the stuffed shrimp (which didn't come stuffed), we also ordered the mussels which we thought would come in a bowl like most restaurants, but it came with only six mussels which was very chewy and fishy, the calamari we ordered wasn't crispy enough too. Honestly, the only thing we really enjoyed was the clam chowder soup. The service was slower. I asked for a lemon with my beer and the waitress brought a lime. She didn't come back for a while so I had to ask someone else for a lemon. All in all, I didn't enjoy my experience and probably will not be back.

You can purchase one of the 950 choices and they only charge you $10. over the price to enjoy the wine with your meal. This restaurant has won some awards but also has changed hands several times. It's written on Yelp that celebrity Master Chef Alex Statta and his executive chef wrote the menu but they are no longer with this business. We've been here several times and we find some HITS and some misses. The biggest HIT might be the French Dip. This was really great on two different visits. I also remember that the beef bourguignon was also very good. Desserts are always worth the calories and have been very good. The biggest miss might be the HK Burger. I was expecting a phenomenal burger since there is a $500. option for it (that I didn't try) I tried the just HK Burger $28. I asked my server if it was ground in-house. She said that it was. I also asked about the blend of meat it was and she said that she would have to ask the chef. She came back and said that it was Linz meat from Chicago. So that really didn't answer my question but that is what I got. I order my burger medium and with the salad side instead of fries because I know to have dessert here. My burger comes out almost well done with a kinda burnt roll. My server does check on us and I do tell her that my burger is cooked past medium. She insist on making a new one. During the wait the manager comes over and offers to get me some fries while I'm waiting. I declined (because I'm saving room for dessert) He also questions me about the medium cook and asks me if I mean pink or red. I said I mean pink. We wait what seems like a very long time. I finally get the new burger. It is cooked much less and can pass as medium-rare but I'm happy that it isn't well done again. My peeves are that this burger has very little beef flavor. It also can use some salt and pepper because this burger seems completely unseasoned. My other peeve is that the truffle brioche bun is served slightly burnt again. This came with some sort of sauce that came separated with an oily top. It wasn't for my taste so I used some of my husband's ketchup. I eat 1/2 and take the rest home to my dogs so I have room for dessert. I was surprised not be checked on but I saw my server was too loaded with tables to check on us. We tried the chocolate tart with orange sorbet and it was delicious. The manager spoke to us on the way out. On my next visit I will get the French Dip and dessert.

We ended up running out of bread so the waitstaff generously brought us another round. - Lemon pepper pork ribs + house ranch: GET THIS! I was kind of stuffed by the time this dish came out, but the ribs were FALLING OFF THE BONES and the ranch was the perfect dip for them. SO freaking flavorful. - Mick's royale with cheese: I am a huge fan of burgers. The waiter confidently told us there isn't a better cheeseburger in town, and I think he might have been right. I first visited in May 2023, and after more than twenty visits since then, that combination is exactly why I keep coming back. The escargot arrived sizzling hot with a rich garlic butter that carried the dish well. Escargot itself is naturally mild, so the sauce determines whether the dish works, and here the balance was right. The duck breast was the highlight of the evening. The skin stayed crisp throughout the entire plate and the meat was extremely tender. In fact, halfway through eating I realized I had been cutting the duck with the regular table knife instead of the steak knife they provide, which says a lot about how well the dish was executed. This was also the best version of the duck I've had here so far. Service pacing was also handled very well. My server noticed I was still working on the escargot before asking the kitchen to fire the duck, so the timing between courses felt deliberate rather than rushed. Throughout the meal the staff also checked in regularly, and I never felt forgotten even though the restaurant was very busy. Small hospitality details also stand out here. The bread arrives warm, and the butter is properly tempered rather than cold and hard straight from the refrigerator. The dining room itself is memorable too--chic, slightly eccentric, but cohesive. Chandeliers hang overhead, one wall features black-and-white pinstripes with actual framed animal skulls mounted as art, and the bar area has a marble-style sign with silver lettering for the restaurant's name. Upholstered booths complete the room and give it a polished bistro feel. After more than twenty visits over the past few years, this review is long overdue. Restaurants that maintain this level of quality and service--even on a busy night--earn five stars.

The server took the SAME glass I had already been drinking from -- a glass I had literally spit back into -- and poured it into a communal pitcher that they use to make red sangria for other customers. I'm not exaggerating. My used wine, with my saliva in it, went straight into something they serve to other people. That's not just gross -- that's a health risk. Saliva can carry viruses like COVID and infections like herpes, and the fact that something like that could end up being served to multiple tables is honestly terrifying. There is no scenario where that should ever be considered okay in a restaurant. It made my stomach turn thinking about how many people could unknowingly be drinking from something contaminated like that. It also makes you wonder what other basic hygiene standards are being ignored behind the scenes. I've eaten at a lot of places and I've never, ever seen something this careless and unsanitary.
