We visited this place for a friends birthday. Who knew this outside space existed behind this cute store front. The back of the restaurant has outdoor seating, coffee truck, sand box and most importantly - lots of fans! We were kindly greeted and sat directly in front of a fan. I ordered a meat pizza. My friends got the short rib entree. I liked my pizza. It came out quickly. Very big. I took half of it home. My friends didn't love the short rib entree. The server was so sweet and treated my friend to a birthday lemon cheesecake. So refreshing!!

I was so excited to try this place. It's been on my list of places to go for a while and I was so disappointed. The garden has potential if it was well kept. I was first sat at a table that had bird poop on the cushion and a little bit on the table. The other table they transferred me to was wobbly, the cushions were dirty (all the cushions on chairs I saw were gross..) The waitress took about 15 to 20 minutes to approach me and the only reason why she came is because flagged her down. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and it was not good. As someone who had a Cooper's Hawk membership I could tell the difference in the wine. The food took so long. I told them box it up to go. Wine 2/10 - $11 Teriyaki chicken skewers $19 - decent Truffle fries $9 - best thing I had Parking lot across the street was twenty dollars there is street parking along the side you could use pay by phone app

We went to this super cute hidden gem and the service was phenomenal. We went around brunch time and were served quickly and nicely. As far as the appetizers, they weren't my favorite but the cheese pizza (not shown), shrimp tacos and chicken piccata was delish and everyone agreed! For desert, we all had different flavors & gelato .... but the Nutella churros is something I am still thinking about hours later!

Visited Emily's Garden today and was pleasantly surprised! The prices were great extremely affordable and food was delicious (even picky kids raved about the food). However, what stood out the most was the amazing service received by Yamila. She was knowledgeable, gave great recommendations, was personable and very friendly. Will be returning very soon to try other dishes and will definitely ask for Yamila. Also, don't skip the gelato, you won't great it!

Food: 5 out of 5. The food was delicious. My wife ordered the burrata, the chips and guacamole, and I ordered the steak quesadilla. The burrata was extremely fresh and our daughter loved it. The guacamole was great, though we struggled to scoop it onto our chips. The steak quesadilla was phenomenal! Service: 5 out of 5. The service was great, our server was quick and helpful the entire time we were there! Vibes: 10 out of 5. My wife and I loved the seating and outdoor vibes here! The restaurant had plenty of seating as well as unique outdoor kitchens giving it a community/garden feel. The water/rock sifter in the back was a lot of fun for the kids as well as the small tricycles/mini vespas for our daughter!

First stop on a downtown Ft Lauderdale food tour, Emily's Garden is located near the Museum of Discovery and Science. The outdoor dining ambiance was superb, probably giving the term 'al fresco' the best representation I can remember. The two things served together were from the Italian side of the menu: a burrata, arugula salad and a really great arancini, served with a simple, but really good tomato sauce. Other things that added to the atmosphere were things like a converted Fiat that served gelato, and a vintage Piaggio Ape that houses an electric pizza oven. Our tour guide gave us more information about the history of the restaurant. The building is over 100 years old and had various business types reside in it. Previously to this restaurant two years ago, it used to be the Old Breakfast House, a beloved Fort Lauderdale institution. As for the name, our tour guide informed us that the owner's named the restaurant after the PREVIOUS owner's well loved dog, Emily. It was the last thing agreed that 'sealed the deal' for the transfer of ownership of the property, resulting in the Italian garden restaurant that we visited.

What a lovely location! Not too far from my Airbnb and a perfect place to start or end your day. In the morning, I had coffee by on the run coffee bar with a flaky and buttery croissant.. I love sitting by the sunshine and enjoying the greenery and the flowers and all the decorations here under the trees. For happy hour I enjoyed their five dollar drinks and five dollar bites! I started with a mimosa and moved onto a Pinot Noir accompanied by eggplant corn bites and truffle pizza bites! I hear there is live music on Saturday and Sunday during brunch. I highly recommend this very casual and beautiful location for your Fort Lauderdale memories.

This is a super cute place with lots of outdoor seating. I went for happy hour on a Thursday. HH is 4-6PM. You can sit at tables and order HH menu. Service staff were very friendly. HH menu: Truffle Mac and cheese 100/10 Eggplant bites 10/10 Chicken taco 5/10 (dry and not much flavor) Truffle pizza bites (9/10) White wine (10/10) HUGE pour:) HH prices are $5 for each item. They have fans to cool you . There is a coffee truck, taco grill, pizza oven, and smoothie bar. Other menu items come from the kitchen. There is metered street parking.

Great vibes. Relaxing. Drinks and food are delish. We got the lemon shrimp appetizer. Portions are a bit small for $19 but solid ingredients and taste. Pizzas are made in the brick oven and fresh. Service was attentive. Besides it being on the pricey side, it was enjoyable.

Service is good. Cute atmosphere. Food is bland. Both my friend and I ordered the tuna poke bowl, suggested by the waiter. While obviously fresh, it lacked in flavor. I'm not sure anything was seasoned. There were even halved baby carrots, which is an odd add to the bowl. My other friend got the creamy caprese panini and also felt it was lacking in flavor. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes ‍ The affogato was delicious and so was the wine.

Great atmosphere, wonderful service and good foot. I had a slice of quiche and a mocha latte that was delicious. It's a garden in the middle of Riverwalk craziness ( which I love.) Definitely will be back.

I found this place on Groupon and noticed they offered wine flights, tastings, and Sunday brunch. After checking out their website, I was instantly amazed and knew I had to visit! My grandma and I went around noon. Parking can be a bit pricey if you don't find street parking, so just be prepared for that. The food was amazing and the service was just as great, it was such a cool experience overall. I also loved that they give you options: if you just want a quick snack, you can walk up and order, or you can sit down and enjoy full service. They sell wine by the bottle and even have a wine club, which is a nice touch. I will definitely be back!

I arrived early for Beer, Wine and Spirit Festival in Ft. Lauderdale and decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. I hadn't gone far when I walked by this courtyard, shaded by trees, and just peeked with calm, tranquility, and serenity. Such sights are hard to find, at times, in the busy lifestyle of South Florida. I wasn't hungry or tired, but I felt the need to take a break and enjoy this relaxing vibe. I saw a place that served coffee, sat at a table close to it, and ordered the largest latte they had. And oh my Lord, I got my latte in soup bowl, and loved every sip of. Overall, I didn't taste the food, but the service was superb and the ambiance was peaceful. I wouldn't mind going back there again on Sunday mornings for another bowl of latte.

The ambiance of the place is lovely, decorated with string lighting that looks so gorgeous at night. The patio area is much bigger than I anticipated and even has some larger tables for any larger parties. We started off with an appetizer of the peach burrata, which was tasty! I would give it 4/5. We then got wine flights which I thought were such a great value for the price. You get 3 small sized wine glasses for $15 and get to sample three wines! Definitely recommend this 5/5. As entrees, we shared two entrees - the pesto pasta and the gnocchi which at the time was made with a pork type of sauce. Both were very delicious and we really enjoyed the flavors of both. The consistency of the gnocchi's sauce was a bit interesting, as it was all sort of blended together, but the flavor was very good! Would give them each 4/5. We ended the night with tiramisu - delicious and the presentation was very cute. I haven't had very much tiramisu to compare against, but I'll give it 5/5 as I really enjoyed it! As for service, our waitress was very attentive and nice but note that they can get busy on weekend evenings, so expect a little bit of a wait. Overall, I had a great time and enjoyed the food. My favorite part of the night were the ambiance and the wine flights. I hope to come back again soon!

John had a background in science education and started out brewing as a hobby. What turned into a passion became a business. Brewlihan Mead is the first commercial meadery in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Mead, sometimes called honey wine is an alcoholic beverage made from three ingredients: fermented honey, water and yeast. It is the first alcoholic beverage consumed by mankind and is believed to predate wine by nearly three thousand years. Since the taste of honey can vary by region, mead can have a diverse and complex flavor profile. To make the mead at Brewlihan, the water, yeast and honey is placed in fermentation tanks with fruit and then aged in oak barrels for 2 to 5 months. You can take your mead to go in cans or they have a nice bar inside the tap room where you can enjoy your drink.
