    Bug

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT STAY HERE! It's INFESTED WITH BUGS! I was staying on the 1sr floor and the morning after I woke up, I saw about 20 bugs on my bedside table. I called and complained and the hotel switched me to the 3rd floor. I was trying to fall asleep tonight and felt itchy on my arms. I turned on the lights and saw bugs on my arms and pillow. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!! Never stay here!!!! They barely clean the room. I've asked 3 days in a row for house keeping until I finally got it. They don't bring you towels. This hotel should be shut down! Also, there's no phone in the room. You must use your personal phone to contact the hotel for any reason. The staff also are clueless!

This hotel is beautiful. The grounds are nice. The rooms aren't huge but their just big enough. We have full cable and the lighting is great. The third floor has a nice hang out area. I was only disappoint that the pool is soo small. It literally can only fit about 4 people and its tucked at the side of the roof top. But it is warm soo I guess that a plus. They have hammocks which I love!! The front desk and staff are very acclimating and friendly. They offer free bikes for the day time hours and free shuttle from 9-9. All the major areas are close by, Collins Ave, Washington Ave, etc. I stayed at a hotel on the Miami beach strip before and honestly it was horrible ! This is about 7 min drive away , 12 min walk and completely worth the distance in quality! The reason I give it 4 is because of the small pool and also I wish there was a bartender available at all time but I can't recall really seeing one there until Saturday night. Tip: I would definitely try and find them thru Expedia or groupon or something because the stay is very price. About 250$ a night plus resort fees but thru Expedia it was only 500$ for the flight from NY plus a 2 night wkend stay.

Vintro was my home away from home for the duration of Art Basel 2016 Miami Beach. While the property had a unique design aesthetic, there were too many kinks during my stay to give it a full 4 or 5 stars. ==Dolla Dolla Bills: Not really a complaint, but more of an FYI/ I would've been less critical of my stay if I weren't paying sky high rates. I expected it, but just to give you an idea, my rate was 3x normal, non Art Basel weeks. Heck, when I was doing my accommodations research 6 months back, I found that even the hostels in Miami Beach were charging $$$$ that week. ==My Humble Abode: The smallest hotel room I've stayed in to-date, but even coming from a clean person, the room was immaculate. There aren't any windows opening up to the outside (at least not in any 2nd floor rooms). Rather, the windows open out into the bar/restaurant below. When you close the blinds, you literally can't tell whether its 9 am or 9 pm-- good or bad depending on who you are. However, there is ample lighting inside to make the room feel as light and as open as a 228 square foot room could ever feel. The room also has super sexy voyeur showers that let in light from the bathroom. Again, this can be good or bad depending on who you are. If you have to get up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, you'll have to go in the dark, otherwise the bathroom light will peep through and potentially disturb your roommate. ==Amenities: Upon check-in, we were given 2 tickets for complimentary drinks at the bar. The next day, another paper was slipped underneath our door inviting us for more complimentary drinks. We never got the chance to redeem them, but it looked awfully desperate to me. Pool is small AF. You won't be able to swim laps here. It's more to soak and tan. The rest of the pool deck is very nice though. There is ample seating with tanning day beds and colorful hammocks. There are snacks (like cheddar popcorn) and spa water set out as well. ==The Bad: Okay so here's the kicker and reason for only a 3 star rating: TWICE in one night, the fire alarm SCREECHED and WAILED at 3 am in the morning. I effin' thought I was in a horror movie. What was this madness?!?! The next morning, the front desk slipped a card under the door with their apologies, but come on, how about complimentary breakfast or something to make up for it?? Aside from the fire alarm, it's fairly quiet at night. A silver lining to the decline in popularity of their restaurant/bar, are fewer noise complaints from their guests. Overall, would I stay at Vintro again? Maybe...it wouldn't be my first choice, but it wouldn't be crossed off my list either.

If you're looking for a boutique hotel in Miami, Vintro is a good option. It's located a bit away from the main hustle and bustle of South Beach (about a 20 minute walk to Lincoln Road), and so a bit quieter and calmer. There was also a lot of construction going on around the area, so it's probably not the best option for walking around a lot, but only a few blocks to the beach. Things I liked: + the hotel staff was really friendly and efficient; they even held our bags for us when we went to the beach after checkout + our room on the 4th floor had a separate (small) bedroom and huge living/lounging space + beautiful rooftop deck and (very small) pool that was perfect for sunbathing + quiet and clean + beautiful design and decorations Things that were weird: + as a design feature, the shower in our bathroom had a glass wall that looked out directly into the bedroom with no privacy. This was fine since we were a couple sharing the bedroom, but may pose an issue for others. You also had 0 privacy when using the bathroom (you could see directly into the bathroom from the glass wall), and could easily wake your partner up with the lights when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. + we had the continental breakfast included in our stay, but it was truly awful. It was a weird selection of poached eggs in cups, cold cuts, cheese cubes, juice, coffee, cereal, and pastries. This sounds extensive, but nothing was good. The coffee tasted like murky water, the eggs were rock hard, the cheese I picked up was moldy, and some of the pastries were stale. I felt like they just reused food from previous days, and I definitely would not pay for this again. Besides these two points, Vintro was perfectly fine for a 2 night stay. It's a cute hotel, quiet (during off season at least), and perfect for a quick getaway. Just avoid the breakfast!!

super cute! love the decor. Nice rooms, and love the roof top day beds and hammocks. room was clean, bathroom was modern and spacious

Don't let this small hotel fool you, it's equipped with everything you need if your a couple looking to stay close enough to enjoy Miami. The room was micro efficient, very clean, sleek and modern! I cant say enough about the hotel staff they were extremely knowledgeable about the local life and up to par with their hospitality in particularly Kathrine "Kat" and Anthoni thank you so much for helping us during our stay you made it that more enjoyable. This will definitely be our favorite places to stay the hotel was decorated racy in a very tasteful way.

A little haven of bliss away from the high activity of south beach. Recently renovated. Although basic in style it has a few subtleties that endear you to it. The lobby is straight from Cuba, with couches and a bar. The elevator is their signature feature. The walls are pictures of books on shelves giving you the feel of being in a library. It's the one time in life you don't mind a slow ride up 2 floors. The hallways feature at least one Bridget Bardot picture somewhere as do each room. And the the door hangers are a throw back to the 50 s. that you will have to learn on your own. They have an outside deck which is quaint with a small pool. Miami beach is more alluring so chances are you won't spend much time there.

This is one of my favorite hotels in South Beach, very private, the rooftop has a pool, hammocks, ping-pong, table games, everything you need to relax and have fun. It is located near the beach (you don't need a hotel in front of the beach when you got Vintro!) price is excellent for the room quality, amenities and breakfast. Staff is always friendly!

This hotel was gorgeous and we had a wonderful stay. My boyfriend and I unknowingly booked online during their opening weekend. As with any new business, they had some minor setbacks (I.e. No hot water) but the water was warm enough to take a shower and as a thank you for being understanding they gave us the room half price along with complimentary breakfast, valet, bike rentals and shuttle. The rooms, food and all the amenities were spectacular. I loved my stay at this hotel and definitely would come back in the future even at the full priced rate.

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

The staff were generally friendly, and a few were especially helpful. They handled three packages I had shipped to the hotel efficiently, though there was a sizable per-package fee. Small touches like afternoon boozy gelato samples and a lobby change machine for breaking $20s into $5s were appreciated. Breakfast at Lolo's was decent. My Marriott status included breakfast for two, though the included menu was much shorter than the regular one and the portions were modest. Still, the food was cooked to order, tasted good, and the servers kindly let me order both breakfasts since I was traveling alone. I didn't try the Japanese restaurant on site, but I heard good things and enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants instead, especially La Grande Boucherie. I paid a substantial premium for an oceanfront double room, but I'm not sure I would do that again. The balcony and glass door were fairly small, and the balcony felt boxed in for privacy. Next time I might prefer a cheaper park-side room on a higher floor, which could still offer a nice park and ocean view. The biggest disappointment was the late checkout. My Marriott Platinum Elite status is supposed to include guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, but the hotel would not honor it. Each day I was told to check again later, and in the end they could only offer 1 p.m. That created real scheduling problems, since I had planned around the advertised benefit. With no good place in the hotel to work or take calls after checkout, I ended up going to the airport hours early. The status is supposed to provide a room upgrade, but that wasn't available either. A couple of other issues matched complaints I had seen in recent reviews. One elevator stopped for several minutes with a group of us inside and did not respond to the buttons, which was uncomfortable even though the door eventually opened. I also received a call inviting me downstairs for a "welcome gift," which turned out to be a Marriott Vacation Club sales pitch. That should be presented more honestly. Overall, this was a decent stay and I might return. But given the failure to honor the guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, I would compare other options carefully before booking again.

The drinks were excellent, the food was great, and the waterfront setting made the experience even more special. The entire property has a laid-back luxury feel, with beautiful landscaping, comfortable seating areas, and amazing views. Whether you're visiting for a spa day, drinks by the pool, or Happy Hour at Lido, The Standard delivers a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend for a relaxing day in Miami Beach!

The rooms have been thoughtfully re-designed, but still have that cold Miami cinder block feel. In other words you won't do more than sleep in them. The pool area is fantastic with a bay view and plenty of chairs. Lido Grill, the main restaurant, is nicely done and people / pet friendly. Service was good, once you got their attention, which was on you, not them...we had the lobster, fairly priced at $39, but was like rubber and inedible. Sides were a throw away. Drinks were very good. Other points, nice mini bar in room, however NO coffee in room and coffee shop doesn't open until 7 AM. A regular room, facing back away from bay, dinner for 2, minor mini bar invasion (2 drinks) valet, was over $1100. Not worth the cost.

Fontainebleau Miami isn't just a hotel -- it's a full‑scale Miami moment. The kind of place where…read moreyou walk into the lobby and instantly feel like you've stepped into a glossy magazine spread. High ceilings, marble everywhere, and a buzz that tells you you're in the right place. What impressed me most? There's genuinely plenty to do for all ages, which is not something you can say about every Miami resort. Whether you're traveling with kids, teens, adults, or a multigenerational crew, everyone finds their lane here. The pool scene is the heartbeat of the property. Multiple pools, each with its own personality -- family-friendly areas with space to splash, quieter corners for lounging, and the high-energy spots where the music and cocktails flow. Service was dialed in across the board: fast, friendly, and always one step ahead. Rooms were spotless and stylish, with balconies that make you want to order room service just to soak in the view a little longer. Housekeeping kept everything crisp, and every request was met with that effortless "of course" attitude. Dining is another standout. From quick bites to full-on fine dining, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the grab-and-go spots felt elevated. And if nightlife is your thing, you don't need to leave the property -- the energy here after dark is pure Miami. But if you're traveling with kids or just want a low-key night, the resort still feels comfortable and accessible. Fontainebleau nails that rare balance of iconic luxury and all-ages fun. It's bold, glamorous, and buzzing in all the right ways, yet still manages to be welcoming and easy to enjoy no matter who you're traveling with. A true Miami classic that continues to deliver. Enjoy

This is a tourist trap extraordinaire. It made me feel like I was paying to be in a place trying to extract from me, not serve me. And yes, I did complain twice to the front staff about these issues - to stony faces and lame excuses that were canned and code for "we don't care." The resort fee is $60/day (which is not made clear on Orbitz, where I booked it), yet when I went in February the pool and all outdoor facilities - which is what the resort fee pays for - closed at 6pm. We were told it closes at "sundown," even though they clearly have outdoor lights for the whole outside facility. Want to swim in the evening or night? Nope. All those pictures with the pool lit up? Not for you. And if you dare to be in the pool at 6:01, there were six staff for every one guest to tell you to get out. Seriously, we got warnings to get out at 10min to 6, 5min to 6, and at 6:00. Why every five minutes? Because a group of staff members were hovering over us, watching and waiting for the moment to kick us out. Very relaxing. You have to wear an armband everywhere you go. Staff are at every door as you go in or out - hotel to pool or pool to beach - monitoring you to produce it. Very relaxing. There is no coffee in the room, forcing you to travel across the whole huge facility (3 towers connected by long walks) to their coffee shop to pay $10 for a cup of coffee each morning. You could walk all the way back to your room, or - like me - you can try to drink it by the pool. But NO! You can't sit by the pool. Those seats and lounges require you to pay a fee, even in February when there was NO ONE there. If you don't want to pay, you can find a free lounge on the outer fringes. And if you try to sit without paying, there are staff to tell you to move immediately. Hovering, as usual. To get a lounge on the beach - in February, low season - we had to get in line to sign up for a chair and then get in a second line of 20-30 people and wait in the hot sun for an available, assigned chair and a staff person to take us there. Grab a chair and relax? Nope. It's a monitored system. When we checked out, the staff told us there were too many rooms to provide a coffee maker in each one. I guess their policy is to assume their guests are stupid.
