Vacationing in Miami Beach was kind of an impromptu trip. The rule was, wherever the weather's best that's where the vacation will be. Works for me. I packed my bags and chilled until the decision was made. Quite happy with the end result. The Marriott Stanton located walking distance from the Art Deco District and a plethora of diverse restaurants, was a good choice. Our King Room was spacious and importantly clean. No undesirable issues. Perfect Balcony Oceanview, steps away from the beach to capture the amazing sunrise. I get the appeal why people want to live by the beach. Splitting our time between the beach and the hotel pool, we were able to witness the young pool staff effectively navigate their jobs professionally and courteously. It was a sight to see these youngsters at work. I have to give Shout Outs to the following. Forgive me if the names are incorrect: Heather - Manager - Exceptional MJ - Assistant Manager - Exceptional Dorian - unsure of title but hardworker Vincent - unsure of title but hardworker Ms. Megan (???) Roger - Exceptional young man Liana - Trainee - Exceptional young lady I wanted it to be known that your hard work did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately there was one exception. A pool staff member unmentioned above, seemed to be having a bad day and it clearly showed in his service or lack thereof. We understand that these things happen. Otherwise, we encountered no major issues or had any glaring complaints during our stay.

This is a mixed review. When I first arrived at the Marriott Stanton South Beach, I had an uncomfortable experience with the valet. He did something that felt unprofessional and really put me off right from the start. It bothered me enough that I ended up submitting feedback through the hotel's website to let the front desk know. That said, here's the part where things turned around. From the moment our luggage entered the lobby, the experience improved a lot. Check-in was super easy, and we decided to upgrade to an ocean view room which I totally recommend. I mean, how often do you stay at a hotel literally on South Beach in Miami? (Don't answer that if the answer is "often". I'll be too jealous.) The beach itself was stunning, and the view from our room was absolutely beautiful. We ordered room service one morning and it came quickly, which was a nice surprise. The bed was comfy, and I really loved the shower. It definitely felt like a luxurious stay after that rocky start. It's also worth noting that the hotel is within walking distance to some great restaurants (Review within a review, but we love Joe's Stone Crab as well), and there's direct beach access. We didn't take full advantage of the amenities, but we did dip our feet in the ocean one morning. I also think I spotted a Starbucks in the lobby, which is always a bonus. One of the elevators was out during our stay, which caused some delays and mild frustration among guests. It wasn't ideal, but I figure that was just bad timing and not a reflection on the hotel overall. In the end, I'm giving this hotel 3 out of 5 stars. If I hadn't had such a weird experience at the start, I probably would've rated it a 5. The location is amazing, and the rest of the stay was honestly great.

This is a great hotel as it's situated right by the beach and walking distance from many good restaurants. It's also a quick 15 minutes from the port if you're cruising out of Miami. It is valet only at a whooping $42 a day to park! They do provide bikes to use during your stay. There is also a small fitness center with a few cardio machines, dumbells, and 2 cable column machines. The pool deck has 2 pools and a hot tub with a nearby bar. They provide 2 lounge chairs if you go down to the beach. Starbucks is located on the ground floor. There are also 2 restaurants on site: Azabu, a Michelin star rated sushi restaurant, and Lolo's, a Mexican cantina. All food services have an 18 percent service charge already attached to your bill. There is a CVS vending machine on site as well for your forgotten meds and toiletries. There is also a spa on site. The staff is friendly and the property is clean. However, the elevators are very, very slow!! We opted to take the flight of stairs during our stay with the exception of when we left since we had luggage to tend to. Overall, I would stay here again.

Stayed from 8/28-9/1 and every staff member we encountered was extraordinary. From the moment we pulled up, we were greeted with friendly welcomes, smiles and helpfulness. They unloaded the car for us and held our luggages so we could check in. We were offered delicious sangria while getting checked in. I can't remember the name of the person that checked us in but she was phenomenal. Gave us a map, and circled all her recommendations to visit/dine at. By the 2nd night, valet team and some of the front desk staff knew all our names. (There were 5 of us). Pretty impressive! Room was clean, view was beautiful. Only complaint was the room was super hot when we first got there bc the AC was off. But no biggie. We didn't have time to enjoy the amenities but we did take a walk around and everything was maintained well. Drinks weren't that great tho. Everything tasted watered down.

Everything was just a stone's throw away. First time here and had no complaints. Our stay was a short overnighter as we flew in from LA and were heading out the next morning for a cruise. We arrived at night, checked in and took a walk to dinner and sightseeing. We didn't want to be on the strip with the crowds so this location was perfect. The hotel was modern and clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Amenities (gym, free 2- hour bike rental, etc.) were good. There was even a full Starbucks connected to front of the hotel. Service was helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Prime location for anything you would want to do or see in South Beach. The Marriott is top notch. They flip all the switches in service, food, accommodations, location, beach and pool service is beyond comparison. Absolutely fantastic!!!! All the attendants here , from the valet, housekeeping, restaurant, are there to make your stay most perfect. They smile, they laugh , they attend your needs, whatever you are in need of, if in their power, it will be provided. For being an older building, it is kept up in a modern theme. You have a spa, gym, two outside pools, hot tub which is HOT. Private access security door to the beach, beach area with complementary chairs and towels. Cold water stations at any attendant stand. Wow!!!!!! I could go on and on but here is the phrase that will cover it all. " I was all smiles when I stayed here."

Check in was a breeze. Got 2 free drinks and the view was great at night. This is our second stay here and will keep choosing here.

This place was top notch! For the price, room was cleaned daily. It was right on the beach. Free sangria when I checked in and gelato every night between 3-5pm. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I will be back south beach rocks!

The Stanton is located south of 5th ave in South Beach so the neighborhood is quieter, cleaner, and a little less extra than everything north of it. Yet you are still easy walking distance (or ride share) to all that you want from SoBe. It's also right on the beach. And when you leave an almost straight shot to the airport or Port of Miami. The rooms are clean, sleek, well appointed, spacious, and updated. And while some have ocean views, even the city views are worth it. Caryn at the front desk was a delight and very helpful. Outside there are two infinity edge pools with a hot tub in between. The pool deck is surrounded by ample chairs and day beds as well as umbrellas, with a dedicated towel station. Across the walkway is a stretch of some of the best beach in Miami with hotel beach attendants and food and beverage service. Again, the hotel offers plenty of chairs, umbrellas and day beds. Service is above average and everyone is friendly and ready to assist. This hotel charges a resort fee. Normally not a fan because these are typically just money grabs used by hotels to show a lower rate online compared to its competitors. The value is usually not there, and it leaves a bad taste. However this hotel offers enough extra amenities to make it more palatable starting with two complimentary margaritas in their bar, INCLUDES: * Enhanced High Speed WiFi this is not use for Titanium Members like my self * Two welcome Lolo's Frozen House Margaritas per stay * Two beach chairs daily * Bike rental (up to two hours daily, 2 bikes per room) * One fitness class per day, per room * 2 boogie boards per room, per day for 1.5 hours complimentary * One complimentary specialty salt scrub sachet (one piece per room, need visit the spa on the Lobby level to retrieve your sachet) Amenities are based on availability and are subject to change without notice. Cheers

On the expensive side for the amenities, such as no concierge which is important to be considered a high end hotel. Well appointed rooms and very clean. Two misses in my room were some marks on the wall and a piece of graffiti on the wall of the balcony. The staff were well dressed and friendly. It does have the best sushi restaurant in south Florida though, The Den, so it gets four stars.

Management could/should be improved Get rid of vending machines for your lunch. Teach staff communication skills Hire new housekeepers/ manager ( see many reviews). Apologize to customers when wrong

The main thing this place has going for it is the location and view, as long as you get an oceanfront view. The rooms are very small but if you get the large balcony, it's totally worth it. It's basically the only thing we enjoyed here. We arrived late on a weekday after flying across country. Checkin was quick and we were hungry. Then we found out room service doesn't last all night, not even late for that matter. We were able to get takeout from the sushi restaurant downstairs for very overpriced food. We finally learned just to use Uber eats if we were hungry. It really stinks paying so much for a room and hardly even getting anything worthwhile. The service at the hotel was so slow and sometimes they wouldn't even show up when asking for something as simple as toilet paper or towels. The pool situation was another annoying problem. If you want a chair at the pool you have to reserve it and wait until they call you. If the beach wasn't so windy and full of seaweed we would have just gone there. There's a small grocery store a few blocks away where we would load up on drinks and snacks. There's a few places to eat around the hotel as well but nothing amazing. There is a nice path down to the pier which was a plus.

Came here on vacation and when I checked online the reviews were pretty mixed. But my experience was amazing start to finish. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Stanton South Beach hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for my entire stay. The 5-star service I received from Audrey, Kristina, and the valet staff was truly remarkable (Apologies, I'm forgetting the 2 guys that I talked to mainly, but top-tier service). Audrey and Kristina went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. They were always ready to assist with any questions I had, provide recommendations for local attractions, and made me feel like a valued guest. I stay in room #1035, which was the Oceanview King. One standout aspect of my stay was the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel and its property. The attention to detail in maintaining a pristine environment did not go unnoticed. It's clear that the Marriott Stanton South Beach takes cleanliness and hygiene seriously, which is especially reassuring in these times. The extensive list of amenities included with the resort fee was a pleasant surprise. From access to the fitness center to the well-appointed pool area, I had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay right on-site. It's evident that the hotel values its guests' comfort and convenience. My only 4 criticisms with all the positives I've listed above are: 1. Big water bottles are not included with your stay, they charge $6 to the room per bottle for life water 33.8 oz. (But if you want free water you can get mini cold bottles of water downstairs by the valet booth) 2. There is no microwave or silverware in the room. 3. There is a mini fridge in the room, but it doesn't have a freezer compartment. 4. Chairs and towels are included on the beach, but umbrellas are not. Even with Marriott gold elite status or higher and even with the resort fee. They are $25 each day. Thats's it. Very mild criticisms, if you ask me. Other than that, it was amazing! Overall, my stay at the Marriott Stanton South Beach exceeded my expectations in every way. The 5-star service provided by Audrey, Kristina, and the valet staff, coupled with the hotel's commitment to cleanliness and the wealth of amenities included, made for a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to return to this gem of a hotel on my next visit to South Beach.

Does Marriott Stanton have vending machines in their lobby for guests to get grab and go food out of!? do you think this is a bonus for an "upscale" hotel to have? Or does it dumb it down?

Yes, they do. Also, they have a novelty. They have a CVS vending machine with everything you can imagine you may need.

Do all rooms have a balcony?

Not sure but many seem to.

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

It came with two scrambled eggs, multigrain toast, home fries, and I swapped the meat for avocado. The eggs were nicely cooked, potatoes had great flavor but were a bit cold and very fresh but I imagine freshly made are very solid. The toast was not bad. Avocado was fresh. Good portion and good prices. My friend and I shared a pancake that was pretty good but lacked a bit of flavor but was still enjoyable. I would definitely come back and try other items as they have an all day menu!

5 STARS - Incredible Service at The Local House…read more The Local House is already one of the best spots in Miami Beach -- beautiful atmosphere, great food, and a relaxed coastal vibe -- but what truly takes the experience to the next level is the exceptional service, especially from Ana. Ana is absolutely amazing. She's warm, attentive, and has that rare ability to make you feel genuinely cared for without ever being intrusive. She knows the menu inside and out, gives thoughtful recommendations, and brings such a positive energy that it transforms the whole dining experience. You can tell she really loves what she does. Every time Ana has been our server, we've left happier than when we arrived. If you're visiting The Local House, do yourself a favor and ask for her -- she makes the meal unforgettable. Highly recommend this place, and especially Ana.

Five stars for the location and awesome amenities…read more This hotel was the perfect place to stay at for a quick Miami getaway located walking distance to the beach and all the main things you could possibly want. After a long day of travel, we received two Prosecco as soon as we checked in and arrived. Our room was upgraded and it was located right across on top of the Naked Taco where the rooftop pool is at. It's perfectly located for anything you want to do, all the good food spots, bars, places, etc. The next day we went straight to the beach and they provide complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas upon request and you just walk yourself to the beach with them. There's nothing like Miami Beach! The water was perfect and it felt so good to just defrost on the sand and dive into the gorgeous turquoise water. After a few hours at the beach, we went back, enjoyed late check out and headed to crunch fitness - which was absolutely worth it! We were able to leave our bags at the front desk while we worked out, grabbed a late lunch, some drinks and then got to come back and enjoy the rooftop pool during happy hour for drinks and snacks until sunset. It was the perfect Miami daycation that we needed!

Dream South Beach by Hyatt delivered a genuinely top-notch experience from start to finish…read more From the moment we pulled up, our valet, Fernandino, took great care of us; friendly, fast, and attentive. And the five-star touch continued inside thanks to Melody, the Director of Front Desk, who made us feel like our stay actually mattered. We were celebrating a very special occasion--dinner plans were set, we simply needed a place to spend the night. What we got was an incredible room with a private terrace and a stunning view of South Beach. And as if it couldn't get any better, we were surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne, which made for the perfect nightcap, and an even better start to the morning alongside our mimosa. If you're staying in South Beach, Dream is more than a name--it's an experience!

Fontainebleau Miami isn't just a hotel -- it's a full‑scale Miami moment. The kind of place where…read moreyou walk into the lobby and instantly feel like you've stepped into a glossy magazine spread. High ceilings, marble everywhere, and a buzz that tells you you're in the right place. What impressed me most? There's genuinely plenty to do for all ages, which is not something you can say about every Miami resort. Whether you're traveling with kids, teens, adults, or a multigenerational crew, everyone finds their lane here. The pool scene is the heartbeat of the property. Multiple pools, each with its own personality -- family-friendly areas with space to splash, quieter corners for lounging, and the high-energy spots where the music and cocktails flow. Service was dialed in across the board: fast, friendly, and always one step ahead. Rooms were spotless and stylish, with balconies that make you want to order room service just to soak in the view a little longer. Housekeeping kept everything crisp, and every request was met with that effortless "of course" attitude. Dining is another standout. From quick bites to full-on fine dining, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the grab-and-go spots felt elevated. And if nightlife is your thing, you don't need to leave the property -- the energy here after dark is pure Miami. But if you're traveling with kids or just want a low-key night, the resort still feels comfortable and accessible. Fontainebleau nails that rare balance of iconic luxury and all-ages fun. It's bold, glamorous, and buzzing in all the right ways, yet still manages to be welcoming and easy to enjoy no matter who you're traveling with. A true Miami classic that continues to deliver. Enjoy

I would never stay at the Fontainebleau Miami again. We booked 6 junior suites for 12 people for a…read moreproposal weekend and stayed 4 nights, with one room being a full suite -- and the experience was honestly shocking for a hotel at this price point. The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is impeccable, so we expected the same level of luxury and service here. Unfortunately, this location feels run down and poorly managed. The beds literally cave in in the middle, rooms feel outdated, and basic amenities were a struggle. There's nowhere to get ice yourself -- you have to call for it -- except no one ever brought it despite us requesting it multiple times over all 4 days. For a "luxury" hotel, there were also no slippers, no robes, and no 24-hour room service, which was surprising considering the price point and reputation. The full suite, which was the most expensive room we booked, had multiple issues: the shower head was rusted with water barely coming out of several holes, and the refrigerator leaked huge puddles onto the floor. We even encountered very rude interactions with both a poolside employee and a pool restaurant employee. Monday morning, my boyfriend and I wanted to sit in a cabana for literally 10 minutes to eat a bagel and coffee we had purchased from their café because we simply needed shade. The entire pool area was practically empty, yet we were shooed away in a very disrespectful manner. Later, when we went to COTE for lunch, the food and drinks were amazing and our servers were fantastic -- but once again, the front desk staff had a condescending attitude. We were asking what seating was available and discussing options within our group since we wanted a normal sit-down table. After we asked a follow-up question to clarify what wasn't available, the hostess responded with, "Do you want me to show you the tables so you can figure it out?" Meanwhile, the tables, couches, and bar seating were directly in front of us. We were simply trying to understand the wait and seating situation, not asking to be spoken to disrespectfully. What made the experience even worse was management. While discussing concerns at checkout and showing photos/videos, the manager was sitting on her phone while we were speaking to her. I've genuinely never seen someone so unprofessional in a management position at a luxury hotel. On top of that, friends and family tried sending champagne to the suite for the proposal celebration. It became unbelievably difficult. Emails went unanswered, calls weren't returned after multiple attempts, and one person who paid for the champagne had to text us directly asking if we received it -- because the hotel never delivered it. Only after they called again the following day to complain did the champagne finally arrive. Overall, this hotel feels like it stays busy mainly because of conventions and the iconic name, not because of the actual guest experience. The only highlight? The late-night food truck was honestly 10/10.

I asked repeatedly for an early, 2pm check-in. When I go there around 2:15, the front desk area was in chaos. There were 2 people being waited on and I was first in line, but had to wait for ~10 minutes to get any attention. Even with repeated communication, the room was not ready. My kids were heading into melt down mode. Not a great start. I got a call at 2:45 that my room was ready. We headed back around 4 and then it was the same chaos, and very long wait to get our 1 piece of luggage. Once upstairs, the hotel is very neat and tidy and our room was a 2 bedroom suite with a balcony, facing the bay and city. The condition and working order of the room, bathroom, and kitchenette were excellent. We loved the minimalist aesthetic. They did have a happy bday card and some chocolates for me in my room - a very nice touch. The main event downstairs is the pool area. They had a DJ playing vibey lounge music and it was packed with people chilling and drinking as mature adults. Definitely not a wild spring break scene. The pool is heated, too. The best is being in the pool as the sun sets - very magical as the place goes from day to night. Great hotel - lousy front desk. I reviewed the restaurant, Baia, separately - great waterfront vibes, so-so food, and disorganized service.

I went to order an empanada from the front and the man that was behind the counter (after taking a 80 payment for 3 food items and 2 coffees..) walked to the front desk gave the girl a hug went outside did some stuff and then came back to make our drinks. I don't even understand what happened there there was one employee working behind and he just walked away. I was told from the front desk that they only have one available cart for us to use and that the carts they had the previous day "disappeared"- the bellman was incredibly rude and laughed at me bc I asked how the carts from yesterday just disappeared... (might've been a bad question but a place like this that is so expensive... it makes no sense to have 1 cart in the entire hotel) I had to ask I believe a manager(Sebastian) he was so incredibly helpful and got us what we needed and really was the only helpful staff member there he rocks, he apologized oh behalf of the other staff and was helpful and patient with the situation! The food was probably the worst food I have ever eaten- they need to figure out that situation first. For the prices they charge I really wanted to tell the chef face to face how bad it was. The fish was over cooked to the point it was literally so crispy like a French fry there was no moisture left in the fish. The fries (were very good) the coleslaw had no flavor it tasted like mayo and cabbage like nothing else seemed to be in it.. somehow bland... The fish was bland. The tartar sauce was bland. Somehow even the horseradish sauce they gave me was bland. It was sincerely the worst fish fry I have ever eaten in my entire life. And I do not say that lightly........Really haven't had an experience like this anywhere else it was utterly ridiculous absolutely laughable for what they charge and the location. The best part if my meal was the fried and ketchup. So sad. The pastries? The chefs makes pretty croissants but the filling is absolutely terrible it was like curry chicken and peppers nothing like a chicken empanada.. didn't have any beef options all in all I would absolutely never recommend this place to anybody ever. Seems like it's going downhill or staff just doesn't care! I've seen the other recent reviews and they aren't great.. Doesn't seem like they let the chefs put anything on the menu themselves and really streamlined the whole thing terribly. I would not recommend this hotel unless you want rude service and terrible food. The only good thing about this place is that it's on the water..
