So disappointed! Went for a pedicure. I get pedicures mostly for a relaxing massage after a busy week. This lady just kind of rubbed on my legs while looking up at a tv the whole time. She never once applied any pressure at all. It was creepy. When I was done the manager asked how it was and she could tell by my face that it wasn't good. She gave me $3 off and said it would be better next time. I rarely spend money on myself and I truly hate wasting my time and money. I do not recommend this place at all! read more

This is the last time I go to this salon. I've went here because of the pedi services they offer. My nails look terrible. I got an sns service and my nails are humpy and bumpy. I spent 100 dollars in there today and had the worst check out experience. It was my birthday and my staff treated me to a day of pampering. They gave me a MasterCard gift card. The awful man refused to take it and said to use it at the grocery store. His out dated terminal supposedly didn't take it. Rude rude. I will never return here. It's always something at this overpriced salon. So I have to go spend more money to fix this tragic nail set. read more

This will be my first and last time getting my nails done at VIP nails . I went to them January 25th 2018 . I got pink solar powder with gel nail polish . 5 days later my nails started to lift and now they're starting to hurt. This was a waste of money , and I will never return for nails there again . I'm usually never the one to write reviews but this is probably one of the worst pedicure I've received. I don't know if it was either the person who did my pedicure was new or he's never done my specific service or maybe he had no attention to details. The only reason why I gave them an extra star is because the staff was nice. I went in and selected their super VIP pedicure which is $70 plus $20 gel polish. $90 plus $15 tip. First off, I don't think they knew I was Vietnamese and could understand everything they've said. From the receptionist walking by ever now and then explaining him what to do, to asking why he finish my service early. He bumped my toe polish while he put the light over my toes about a hand full of times. Even after I told him he bumped my toes, he continued to put the light on it without fixing it. Splotchy application. Did not clean under my nails well. I am on my feet every day so my feet needed a little more care that's why I usually get the premium service on my feet.There was nothing premium about this. I hate to be this person but I'll be getting another pedicure somewhere tomorrow. read more

The place was nice and clean. The man at the front was nice and attentive. Didn't feel rushed to pick out color. Went in for pedicure with a friend of mine. The actual people doing the pedicure didn't say one work to me or my friend. They just spoke to themselves. Then at the end I was charged the wrong amount so I was given the difference in cash. The lady did a quick good job on the actual polish but did not clean up as well as I would of liked. Made that known to the gentlemen at the front and he made her clean up a couple of nails. I've been here a total of 4 times. I was disappointed bc my polished toes didn't last two days and my acrylic on my nails looked bad (this was when they were JUST opening) I returned two days later and pulled up my online banking to show them proof and the girl requested a receipt I've never kept a receipt for nail services, waxings etc ... I showed her my mobile banking. She said she couldn't find it on her records. I was beginning to get annoyed bc she had proof and I showed her my nails and she reluctantly assigned me to a nail tech that fixed the polish on my toes and one to fix my acrylic nails. I went back two days ago and got a manicure and polish change on my toes. I should've walked out bc someone was complaining about their polish and she was met with the same girl that was reluctant to assist. She too was asked for a receipt and the name of her technician. she allowed her a redo. I'm once again disappointed bc the paint is chipped. I chose OPI bc of the quality and i think they have purchased knock off OPI bc the quality isn't there. But my problem this time is that my hands are EXTREMELY dry and I think it's from the solution she put on my hands before putting them in the warmer. It is so uncomfortable. I won't return. The sad thing is that the lady shaped my nails very well and gave me good customer service even offering me water. The service is good but the products not so good. read more

Tiffany was great! I used the 20% off coupon which the general manager helped me redeem. The manager and Tiffany talked to me about options and what was best for the look I wanted to achieve. I inquired about SNS but since I was getting chrome they suggested acrylics. Tiffany offered me something to drink and made sure my nails were ready to go because I stressed that I wanted my cuticles clipped and my nails prepped properly before getting the set. She did nick me once while she was filing and she applied an antiseptic on the spot and then tried to be careful with it the rest of the time. I asked her if they used new tools and she said yes. She opened a new package of nail clippers, cuticle clippers, and a cuticle pusher. Everything else was reused. She was really good about keeping conversation and making suggestions. After she finished I noticed that 2 more of my nails had been nicked so she put on more antiseptic and it was fine. When I got to the car and looked at the nails closer I noticed that one finger with the chrome was halfway dull at the tip of the nail. The two nails that had the foil showed condensation underneath the clear coat. It was visible 'bubbling' and a clear separation. I let Tiffany know and she was eager to fix it right then and there. Unfortunately I had already spent two hours there and needed to get going. So she applied a different gel top coat to all the nails and let them cure for a minute. I'll be back tomorrow to have the foil removed. In my opinion the foil is not worth it if the polish is dark like mine is. The glue that they use is white and ends up showing. The nails ended up cracking and literally cracking off the top coat so I removed one which is seen in the picture. Overall I'm impressed with the service, I think that once I begin to keep up my nails it will not be as much work clipping my cuticles. read more

These people have become very RUDE and lack customer service. Especially the junky guy who sits in the counter probably the owner seems not interested in customer relation. The old guy who did my pedicure was nice and did good job but the women who did manicure on my friend did not know what she was doing. She poked and cut the cuticle so deep that my friend's finger started to pain a lot after a while. Horrible customer service!! read more

Felt great when I left. Only problem I had was the miscommunication with Mary about the level of pedicure I wanted-had been a while so I wanted Volcano pedi and Hot oil mani. I initially told her volcano and when she returned I told her a hot oil mani, but I guess she got confused and just gave me a hot oil pedi and mani. I asked about it when she said she was finished and then we realized the miscommunication. My wife was thrilled with her service from Elaine. I'll return for another try, but hope for better service. Advice for the manager: how about a technology system when you come in, choose the service(s)/add-ons you wish and the performing technician-if you want a specific one and they are available, printout a ticket for the technician, so there is no mistake. read more

I took my young daughters for a pedi and I was getting a pedi and sns nails. In the car I told my girls, only pedi's not getting your hands done. We walk in, I tell them pedi's for the girls and what I wanted done. I showed my technician what I wanted and asked how much extra for the design (it was on 2 nails on each hand), she said $8, okay no problem. While she was doing my nails she asked, only on 1 finger? I said, no- I want it on 2 like on the picture I showed you. My girls and I are done with our pedi's and halfway with my nails but they ask me to go ahead and pay (why? I don't know). I look at the tab and she has charged me $12 extra for the design! And says because I did 2 designs on each hand. Ummm, I said I wanted it like in the picture and you said $8! Then they charged me $20 for a kids pedi! She said it's because it's a combo, mani pedi. I said but they didn't get a mani. She proceeds to tell me because my girls told them no mani!!!!! Ughhhh, well of course they did because I told them that in the car but only because I didn't want to dish out the additional money for it. Shouldn't they have asked ME, the adult, the MOM?!! So I told them, well if you are charging me for it, then yea go ahead and do the mani on them. You could tell they got mad and rushed thru it and quickly painted their nails. I was greated immediately when I walked in which was nice. No problems with front desk customer service (I felt welcomed). I told the front desk that I wanted to get i pedicure done and I notified him that I am very particular about my pedicure and that I wanted someone who would take their time. He (the manager) assured me that I would be happy with my services. Well I actually got the complete opposite of what I was looking for. The lady who did my pedicure completely rushed past the part where they push the cuticles back. She spent less that half as second on that process. What is the point of using the tool if all you're going to do is brush over each toe carelessly? And not to my surprise she rushed past cutting my cuticles as well. I did stop her to let her know that she needed to redo it but the results were the same. I'm not sure what type of training they have at this salon but I definitely expected a better service given that this place is called "VIP Nails and Spa". The foot scrub was also not thorough at all. Most times when I get my pedicure the nail tech will check the bottom of my feet to see if they are smoothe before moving forward. $30 for a pedicure does not bother me at all I just think that the quality of the pedicure should reflect the price. I'm very unsatisfied with my service here and it's such a shame because this salon is absolutely beautiful. read more
