Not the stuff other places serve on buffet lines with less toppings and cheese, but the good stuff! There were baked hot wings, BBQ spare ribs, and even a made to order salad! They advertise a salad bar when in fact there is none. It's just a bowl of pre-packaged salad that they give you. The pizza and appetizers are good but they never seem to have enough out. You end up having to make multiple trips because you can only get one slice of pizza, or one mozzarella stick at a time. This place was a mission to get to. My friends tell me it's a good place I had to stop by and try it out. The staff was not as friendly as I had hoped. The vibe was far from what I expected, considering the name and all. The decor was simply outdated. For kids although I have none the arcade games were just collecting dust. The waitress I mean ever heard of a smile? But the pizza! Was good. My friends did not want vegetables but I got it anyways,we ordered the all meat pizza and the Greek pizza. I didnt try the all meat. The Greek one is soooo yummy, still greasy but yummy. The all meat one was tempting but I let the guys handle that one. The Greek pizza had artichoke hearts, olives, spinich, pesto, feta cheese and on sourdough bread. Can't beat that. It was just disappointing that the decor was so blah. I called to order pizza as I am in town for work. Was shocked when they said they don't take credit cards for deliveries at hotels. I said OK. Order as delivered in about 30 minutes. When I said something about the cc policy. He said well this IS Stockton afterall. I was shocked. I travel 300 days a year and Stockton is fine. As far as food....have had much better. This is our go-to place for pizza in town! For me, they are just as good or better than Michael's pizza and David's pizza. They just have a smaller dining area. Service can be slow if they are busy in the evenings so order ahead if you are dining in! They do a ton of take-out and that's a testament to how good they are. They are always very generous with toppings. We've only ordered the sourdough crust since we are thick crust fans. On Thursday nights they have a special any large pizza for $15.99. A deal! Been one of my favorite haunts for a while now. They have a beer club 20 bucks a year, and it drops the price of good beer down to 2.50 a pint, and shitty beer down to 2.00 a pint (bud, coors, corona, etc.). Great value. Also, it drops down the price of personal pizza's to 3 bucks. A couple of these and a few beers, makes a good night. The lunch buffet is good, long as they have some jalapeno poppers out there. They have a huge bar, and lots of TV's to watch sporting events, they even put up with us asking them to change it to our weekly soccer games. Cutest waitresses in town, Anita, Sarina (sp?), and for the time being Marissa. Always have a smile, and are quick to pour you another pint. If you show up in the day, you may even see the kid that looks like David Cross, he's cool as well. Overall a very friendly place, and the only place left in Stockton that I enjoy going to just to sit back, relax, and have a couple of beers with friends. Check it out! read more

We went in because a friend recommended it saying it was the best burger in town I should've known when I ordered a burger at a place called VIP pizza I couldn't expect much but trusted my friend the best I can say is it reminded me of a high school cafeteria burger. The staff was friendly place is really small. They have an 899 all you can eat pizza buffet but I noticed the two pizzas were there the entire hour I ate lunch and had to be dried out from the heat lamp. I guess if you worked in the shopping center and only had a 30 minute lunch give it a shot otherwise I'd probably take the drive to somewhere better read more

First off, VIP doesn't even deserve a 1/2 of a star, but "EEk, Me thinks not!" is appropriate for today's experience. My co-workers and I order from VIP quite regularly, and we were quite disappointed in the way we were treated today. We placed an order for delivery. The order did arrive timely, but the delivery driver set the tone. The order total was $18.50 (including delivery charge). He handed my co-worker $1 and said I don't have change. Did not offer any options to cover the fifty cents he still owed us. For example, I can bring the fifty cents later. I'll take fifty cents off of your next order. Nothing!! Neither was it mentioned when the order was placed that exact change was needed, or that the driver did not carry change. Too add insult to injury, I called to discuss with the Manager on Duty( Chris). He rudely offered to bring back the change. Not taking into consideration the principal of the matter. It wasn't about the $.50. It was how the matter involving the change was handled. I tried to explain to him our concern and how treatment of this kind will discourage others from wanting to do business with them. He agreed to let the owner know what had taken place and advised he would have someone bring the $.50 back. I called in and I made an order and they told me the total I said ok and hung up then when I get there they said my order was canceled why cause I hung up I didn't know I had to stay on the phone the whole time plus when I got there they gave me my wings with a 15 min wait no boggy but when I got home my wings were so gross they didn't have one once of meat on it. Which was good, but really they call that a medium looks like small and for the price.the ham and peperoni was good but WHAT do you call that Italian sasuage. NASTY. My husband and I enjoy going to VIP on Thursday. They have a special on Thursday night and love watching Thursday Night Football. We always receive great service. Our favorite neighborhood pizza place, both for take-out and eat-in. I love the vegetarian pizza (thin crust) with fresh tomatoes and hubby has pepperoni. Great special deals, too. They have satellite TV so we go for some sporting events that are not on cable and there's usually some kind of special on the beer or pizza or both.
