I was in Visalia for an event and wanted to find a bar to watch the ufc fight. They weren't showing it, but I watched it on my phone. They had the college football games on. We sat at the bar, and were helped quickly. The price for 2 beers was $10 which isn't bad. I think it turns into a "club" because there wasn't a lot of seating and there was a dj. The music the dj was playing wasn't my taste, but maybe they change genres throughout the night. Overall not a bad experience!

Cheap beer and good service. That have several beers on tap, but they also sell bottle and canned beer. Came in on a Sunday night.

If I lived in the area this would be my go to spot for happy hour. Good vibes, TVs throughout, nice selection of food options, wide variety on on tap beers with approximately 30 varieties. Bottled selections and great liquor selection. Right on Main Street this is a must try when in the area.

Since it's been renovated & gotten a fresh new look it has improved ten fold. I love that they have imported European beer & plenty of taps to choose from. Prices went up but the decor at Christmas looked great. They have tons of options to choose from and love how great it looks inside.

Great times on the patio. COORS LIGHTS ON SPECIAL

We had a nice time here on the make shift patio. There was a special on Coors Lights, which we definitely took part in! We were required to order food, so we ordered basic nachos. Our bartender was great. We were day drinking, while we were out of town. The drinks made for a nice nap after at our nearby hotel. We will definitely check this bar out again. Its simple, fun, and gets the job done.

Holy cow this place has some amazingly good food for a bar/pub went there today for the first time (I don't drink) had a pulled pork sandwich potato salad and beans the sandwich was super good so tender ton of flavor the sauce wasn't over powering really complimented the taste of the pork the onions were grilled until perfectly tender tiny bit of snap the bread was soft and perfectly chewy the potato salad was different but in a very good way not the normal potato salad had a strange taste can't pin point it but what ever it is was very good my fiancé got the pork and tots she loved it as well

REFRESHING My girlfriend and I stopped in here on our way back from a weekend in Sequoia National Park. It was a 90+ degree day and we were starvin' like Marvin. Visalia BrewCo not only has a great selection of beer, but sells cheaper than what I'm accustom to (being from LA and all). The blue cheese burger was delicious as well, although some regulars recommended trying the Thai Peanut sauce burger our next time there. The only bad thing is that this place is way up in Visalia. The next time life finds me going through Visalia, I'll be sure to stop in again!

Happy hour M-F 3-6pm most beers are $3. Tuesdays that have a special feature "All day happy hour pricing". Where else can you get beer for $2 -- only on Tuesdays (and you have to try the Sushi)! This is the place! Great taps! They also have food here, many options. Service here is great - Matt is quick, friendly, and can always give a great suggestion for that tasty drink you need (based on the kind of beer or mixed drink you like). Cheers!!!

A good selection of beer, but wouldn't waste a weekend night there. Needs to be cleaned.

Worst band ever played here tonight, w/ a 3$ cover charge. I'll gladly pay you today to abolish the band tomorrow.

It's a small brown building with a small parking lot next to it. It's nice though that its open at 0630 so that the nightshift hospital staff can come here and decompress or send me off on my last day. First thing you notice about this place is the smell of urine from the bathrooms. You get use to it after a bit. As well as the "regulars" hanging out at the bar area. It's extremely small. Area for a pool table, some tables at the far end by the bathrooms, and a long bar counter. At least the tvs are nice and clear and big to watch games or sports as need be. There was a good 18 of us here. Prices are rediculously cheap. I'm glad they understand it's a dive bar and should thus be dive bar prices. A michelada was $4. A mimosa was $5. Bag of chips was $1. They have these sour candy shots for $4. The sour candy shots were really good. Michelada was simple. Bloody Mary mix with beer. But they were well made. I also had a crown royal apple with redbull that was really good. I don't remember how many drinks we went thru but it did the job and we were all feeling good. Customer service is good. Dude working behind the bar worked fast. I hear this place is pretty good when the sun is up, but has a pretty rough reputation at night with lots of shady people coming in at night. I definitely wouldn't come in here by my self even in the day time. But with a large group it's pretty cool. Nice and cheap. If you don't mind the urine smell and dilapidated look.

If you have kids with you, they're welcome too, which makes it an easy spot for everyone to enjoy. Their beer selection offers something for just about every palate, including seltzers, and they're more than happy to let you sample beers before making a decision. If you can't pick just one, a flight is the way to go. We tried several of their newer brews during our visit. The Citrus Trails Blood Orange Ale was refreshing and perfect for a warm day. It wasn't overly bitter, and I think an orange slice would make it even better. The Stay Golden was another new release that my husband really enjoyed, describing it as smooth, crisp, and refreshing. I also tried I've Seen Better Haze, which was flavorful without the overpowering bitterness that some IPAs have. The Salty Sessions was surprisingly light for an IPA and almost drank like a blonde ale, making it a great option if you're easing into hoppier beers. One thing I really like about Salty Walrus is that they offer more than just great beer. They host a run club, feature a different food truck most days, and even have an annual membership for frequent visitors. The membership includes one free pour every day along with discounts on additional pours and merchandise, making it a great value for regulars. Whether you're stopping in to watch a game, meet up with friends, or simply try some locally crafted beer, Salty Walrus is definitely worth a visit.

I ordered the French Dip, which should be a slam dunk for a pub-style spot, but it lacked the basic execution that makes that sandwich great. The Main Event: French Dip * The Bread: This was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't toasted, grilled, or even brushed with a little butter. It felt like an afterthought, leaving the texture of the sandwich completely uninspired. * The Meat: The tri-tip was sliced thin and seemed okay, though it had that "pre-cooked this morning" vibe rather than being fresh off the block. * The Au Jus: A French Dip lives and dies by the dip. Unfortunately, this was essentially bland beef broth--watery and lacking any deep, salty, or beefy complexity. The Silver Lining The meal wasn't a total wash, thanks to the sides. The fries arrived piping hot, crispy, and seasoned well. Paired with a side of their ranch, they were easily the best part of the plate. Final Verdict: If you're going for the atmosphere and a cold beer, it's a win. But if you're craving a high-quality sandwich, you might want to look elsewhere until they step up their bread game.
