We hired Vision Garage Flooring to epoxy our garage floor, and while they were initially flexible and accommodating, the overall experience was deeply frustrating and disappointing. Our project started off on the right foot--Curtis was understanding when we had to reschedule a few times due to delays with our general contractor. By the time we moved into our home on Sunday, 12/15, we were ready for the work to begin. Vision came out the next day, 12/16, to apply the epoxy. To ensure the entire garage looked clean and consistent, we even postponed the installation of our water heater, thinking it would be worth it in the long run. Unfortunately, things went downhill fast. After the technician left on the first day, we came home to notice the color was drastically different from what we had chosen. We had picked Atascadero, but they mistakenly applied Grey Dove. When we reached out, they confirmed the mistake, apologized, and scheduled a technician to return on Wednesday, 12/18, to fix it. At this point, we were already used to delays with our house renovation, so we tried to stay flexible. On 12/18, the correct color was applied, but we were told we needed to wait another three days for it to cure before the water heater could be installed--meaning we couldn't move into our house until Sunday, 12/22. We stayed with family longer than expected and left all our garage belongings outside in our side yard, thinking the inconvenience would be worth it. On Friday, 12/20, we were finally able to walk on the floor, and that's when the real disappointment set in. The surface was super high-gloss, likely because of the two clear coats applied. While Vision claimed this was a bonus, it is not aesthetic--it shows every imperfection, footprint, and speck of dust. The texture was rough and uneven, with sharp points sticking out that were unsafe. The curbs were also extremely rough with flakes sticking up. Worse, the floor looked incredibly busy because both Grey Dove and Atascadero flakes had been used, resulting in way too many flakes. The appearance was overwhelming, unlike the clean, cohesive look of Atascadero we'd seen in photos of other customers' garages. We contacted Vision again, and their response to the roughness on the curbs was dismissive, stating that unevenness was unavoidable due to how the epoxy flows. They acknowledged the roughness on the main floor and promised to fix it, but the soonest they could send someone was Tuesday, 12/24. We repeatedly asked if they could send someone earlier, as our belongings had already been sitting outside for days. Their responses were frustrating, with comments like, "Look at it this way, you're getting an extra clear coat." It felt like they were downplaying the inconvenience and our dissatisfaction. Finally, on 12/24, the technician arrived and confirmed what we had suspected: they had applied the Atascadero epoxy directly over the Grey Dove without sanding or properly prepping the surface. This likely contributed to the rough texture and busy appearance. This experience was a huge letdown. While Vision was apologetic for their mistakes, their actions didn't match their words. Poor communication, repeated delays, and subpar work have left us regretting our decision to work with them. If you're considering Vision Garage Flooring, be prepared for mistakes, frustration, and a less-than-stellar result. For the money and effort we invested, we expected much better. read more

I left 4 voice messages . Now I wrote a review, he replied that he does not appreciate the review and asked that I call the office which I did and the office phone put me on hold indefinitely. It's been several years since the original coating, and it's held up nicely. Decided that I wanted to do a color change of the gloss white to a different color. Curtis sent color samples and also discussed some of the options with me, ultimately, we decided on "Cape Cod," a nice shade of lighter gray. And Robert did the prep work (sand) and mixed and applied two coats of the new color. Love the results. We had our garage floor done by Vision. I called phone number on receipt in early April, April 11th I sent a text to Curtis. The floor had bubbled (lifted) in a spot. He replied asked for pictures, which I sent with my address. April 21st hadn't heard back sent another text asking when we can connect. He replied that he had sent this over to his office requesting 5/1 5/2. April 27th we had not gotten a call or text with regards to eta, texted him again his reply was "I told you I had you scheduled for 5/1 5/2 if your not interested let let me know" Texted him back with confirm time. They charged $300 to repair, then used wrong flake mix so it didn't match. They didn't want to correct their mistake. The service of this company is terrible. Half a year ago we let the company to paint my garage, and now there are paint peeling on three places on the ground. Before I was told that there is a five-year warranty period, but now the company said only to repair once. The reason is ridiculous, because they didn't tell me to keep the ground dry before the second time. There was a strong wind two days ago, and the ground was covered with dust and small particles. I was afraid it would affect their work, so I washed the ground on the morning they came. They said, because my floor is wet, there is no five-year warranty. I was initially reluctant to pay any $$$ for a garage floor. But mine was a bonafide eyesore, something really had to be done. And I'm so glad that I did. My only challenge was trying to visualize the colors on the ground. He has ~6" x 6" swatches, but you have to get creative trying to picture it on your garage floor.
