1st of all, as a client I highly recommend that you have all of your baseboard removed prior to having the epoxy spread on and place new ones after. We were told that I did not need to remove the baseboard and that turned out to be half true. All areas with ceramic tile, had to have the baseboard removed. Once that happened, it would have looked terrible to replace only 75' of baseboard. Replacing it all added $3000 more to the price. The other issue that came up is all the concrete debris drying underneath the old baseboard mixed with epoxy. This had to be grinded flat so the new baseboard would fit flush to the floor. This was a lot of work. The business also should explain to the clients. That once the tile is removed from the bathroom a large gap is going to exist between the toilet and the floor ring due to the previous extension. The old ring will need to be replaced by a new one flushed to the floor. Last, we were happy with the color of the flooring, but wished a better job would have been done of vaccuming and removing all concrete debris before the epoxy was spread, to prevent small chunks from drying with the epoxy. Bottom line is, we would have had a better experience with better honest communication and attention to detail. read more

I was pleased with the 2016 job, now likewise happy with the work done recently. I appreciate the professional contract and their adherence to a schedule. Needed to get a garage floor epoxy coated-- the floor looked like it needed more than the usual prep work so I figured it was worth contacting professionals. Called a bunch of different places, Vision Garage Flooring had the lowest price, was pretty clear on what they would/wouldn't charge me for-- as well as what would/wouldn't be included in their work... Sucked it up, decided to go with them after their sales manager (Curtis) came over and gave a complete estimate after seeing the garage and the work it needed... Had a few communication SNAFU's but they started on time and had it all done on time, Chris (I think it was Chris) and the other installers were very, very good and clearly very experienced in what they do... Beware of this company!!! They are great when you get the flooring done from them. But when problems arises like bubbles in the epoxy, they will not be nice and come out to help you. They will claimed that they will warranty the flooring for 5 yrs. When you do have bubbles in the epoxy after the 3 yrs. They will come out and do a crappy job and tell you that is all that they will do. Even if you offered to pay for them to correct the 2 small bubbles that they missed. They will say to pay 2100.00 and they will come out and redo it again. They only focus on getting the money first time around. They don't care if it messed up later. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. I'm so disappointed with this company. I've waited for over a week to get my garage racks installed. It was scheduled for today. I never received a confirmation for an arrival time. I texted my contact at 7:45am and was still waiting at 11 am for a response. I called, he answered right away. He said he couldn't commit to a time and that his crew had just arrived at an install in Newport Coast. I said maybe after lunch 12:30 or 1. He agreed with that. I was out when they arrived at 12. I didn't have my cell phone with me. I got the message at 12:30 that they had been here to my house and left. The office lady said that they wouldn't be back today. She then insulted me and told me that I was being too difficult and that they don't want to work with me anyway. Why? She also said that Curtiss wouldn't lie about the arrival time. Worst experience ever using vision garage flooring. Let's start off with them not having any experience on how to install over head garage racks. I waited two weeks just to get my racks in two 4x8 I called Curtis telling him the racks are covering the fire sprinklers in the garage would that be a safety issue? He said "I don't think so." Called their office phone non of the girls had no idea what I was talking about. Shouldn't the installer have experience for this? Turned out you need at least 18" from the head so the "Umbrella Like" pattern can occur. We can't even use the racks I called Curtis few times no response. I text him the California fire code regulations. Once again he had no idea about it. I told him have your guys come back and just fix it. His response was we can refund your money not worth the $620!? What kind of customer service is this? I was planning on getting my floors and garage cabinets done from them. Glad I didn't! I just got a call back from them today. They will come take out the racks next week and return my deposit after!? PLEASE Don't make the same mistake I did! Bought a used home in HB and decicided to do the garage floor before moving in. The floor epoxy process is a multi layer, multi day process, so each day a crew would come by and do their layer. Some days we wouldn't even see them. On the morning of the last day, I pulled up at my new home at 8:00 AM , with a load of stuff. There was another new guy, opening my garage door. He introduced himself, "HI, I'm Mike, the owner of the company. I came by yesterday afternoon and I'm not really happy with the way the third layer came out. We'd like to redo that layer today, but that means we won't finish uniil tomorrow. Is that O.K. with you?" Can't remember when I've seen that level of service. I was very impressed with the company at first. Curtis came out and gave me a quote and the price was reasonable. The workers showed up on the first day, did the work and left without saying they were finished or without any instructions. Day two they showed up again and completed their work. Here's where it got bad. On day three no workers showed up. I received a phone call at 2:43PM stating that they wouldn't be able to complete the job as planned. The horrible thing about that was my husband stayed home and waited for the workers and missed the funeral of a good friend. When I called the company after I received the voicemail about not showing up I explained what had happened and asked for money off my bill. They then called me back and the owner came out and finished the job. Again leaving without saying he was finished or sorry for the inconvenience. I never received money off my bill. Poor business practice After I read the response from the company I checked my phone log and on the third and final day the company did not call me until 1:43PM to let me know they weren't coming. Again my husband stayed home and miss a funeral of a good friend. I would not recommend this company! Do not use. We're having major issues with our floor. Main issue right off the bat is they don't fill main joints of floor. This is my third garage floor first time using vision flooring and I've never heard of this! Second our floor is very rough and foggy areas where clear coating was incorrectly applied. Third issue our floor is maybe a year old and a dollar size spot has chipped off showing me how thin of a coat it really is. I wish I went with the company that did my moms flooring for only $200 it's day and night the quality of work. I wasted $2,000 and every time I walk in the garage I'm upset. read more
