I keep calling but the billing lady is always out of office or the office is closed/on lunch? My appointment in itself was an absolute tragedy. I've been going to the eye doctor for over 15 years so I have a pretty good idea of how an appointment should run. I first go to do the basic eye testing (little house on prairie machine...pics of the eyes etc.) the doctors assistant running my tests had no idea what she was doing. She didn't tell me to take my contacts out and when I said something she just handed me a contact case and some empty contact solution bottle. No sink, no form of sanitation, no mirror, NOTHING. When I saw actual optometrist everything was fine...but the check out process was a NIGHTMARE. No one in the office knew how to run insurance, they forgot my credit card in the back room twice, they did t know how to give me a receipt, and this entire process took over an hour! I paid for my contacts but have yet to receive anything and it's been over a MONTH. The lady that does the billing is never in the office because everytime I've tried to call to check on the status of my contacts she's never there!! And she never calls me back! I just want my contacts. I hope they see this and finally get back to me. Last time I called was today at 1:30 and the voicemail box said they were "on lunch"??? Ridiculous.

Despite being an optometrist and eyeglasses store for primarily adults, they were very gentle and kind with my son. Dr. Martorana explained what he was doing along the way. The only part my son did not like was getting his eyes dilated, as you pretty much can imagine. But they were patient with him and helped him through it. And after we were done, they showed him the toy drawer, where he was able to pick out a few items to take home. (The highlight of the day for my son.) I scheduled my annual visit to be right after my son's, and they were helpful to give me the care I needed while also being efficient with the visit, considering I had my son in tow. The rep could not cancel the hold that day. They were supposed to call me back when it was cleared up and did not. So without any follow-up, I went ahead and ordered from another site instead with the script, paying full price for the glasses. Imagine my surprise when a week or so back, Visionfirst called to tell me (in March) that my January glasses were ready for pick up? What glasses? I clarified I only had the eye exam and that the sale had fallen through- there were no glasses to pick up. She assured me the VSP benefits would be returned as she would let them know I had not used my eyeglass benefits there. I trusted it would be cleared and above all other things, trust is very important to me. I would have never known if was not cleared up though if not for the eye issue today that necessitated my needing services from an eye doctor. When the doctor finished working with me today and I was looking at new frames, I was astounded to hear that I had NO eyewear benefits. This has caused additional time and work on my part today to get this straightened out.

The inner pieces that keep them together; that plastic stuff fell off during the move. What a shame right? It's no problem they can fix it. Now the Oakley Glasses are under warranty, but the gentleman, Tony fixed the glasses right as new. What a great deal? Being able to see pain free. We have fixed glasses, mind you it was no issue. Always willing to listen to my concerns and questions. I got cataracts at an early age (compared to most ) and Dr Taustine did my surgeries. And all I can say is thank you Dr T for giving me my sight back. I have always been really near-sighted with a lot of astigmatism and I'm now basically 20/25 in both eyes. It's such a joy to wake up in the morning and to be able to just see! Nothing blurry or fuzzy. It's amazing! These people are true professionals and are always wanting you to have the best outcome of either your visit or your surgery. I can't recommend them enough!
