If I could rate the doctor and the store separately, I would give the doctor 5 stars and the store 0. I had a wonderful experience with the eye exam today, but it ended there. I then worked with a very inexperienced and unprofessional associate. She started quoting prices to me without checking my actual insurance policy and proceeded to keep changing the price when I pointed out that I thought it was incorrect. When I got uncomfortable with this practice and asked to take my prescriptions with me to shop elsewhere, she shrugged and said that was fine without asking for my business or getting anyone else to help. I wonder if management knows that the employees are letting customers walk out the door? Don't go here... Spend your money somewhere that wants your business. read more

It's almost been a month and I have no update on my order. It's really hard to get a hold of someone at the location I went to. I also tried their live chat 4x and have had no luck!! This place was alright. I had to switch to them because I got different insurance. I miss my old eye doctor, but this place will do. For one, they will cancel your appointment if you don't provide insurance information beforehand and they don't inform you of this when you make the appointment. My husband made the appointment for me. I got an email about it, and confirmed the appointment through the email. The morning of the appointment I got another email reminding me of the appointment. Then I show up and they say, "Didn't you get a call about insurance information? We canceled your appointment because you didn't provide it to us." Never in my 10 years of going to several different eye doctors offices have I ever heard of this practice. We also didn't have any missed calls or voicemails. My husband had taken work off for the appointment and the woman at the desk remarks "Well luckily no one else took it so we can still do it today.." If I could give the eye exam and doctor 5 stars and then the store 0 i would. The eye exam was perfect quick and simple. Once looking for frames i was greeted very rudely, no one acknowledged me while searching for frames seeing if I had any questions and they sat and discussed personal things and I just waited until someone saw I was ready. Extremely under staffed. Wait times are very long, the Optometrist was pleasant though; doubtful I'll be back. Not recommended.

Still haven't got my glasses past the date I was supposed to. Called to get an update. Lady on the phone was a real bitch about it.

So impressed with their customer service!! My mother in law is visiting from out of state and my 2 year old daughter got ahold of her glasses and one of her lens' popped out. I called and talked to Samantha and she said they could definitely try to help. She had that lens back in in an instant. I was SO impressed with their customer service. I will definitely be giving them our future business when the need arises. read more

Don't order contacts here. Horrible customer service...to date I have not received a callback and I have called on 6 different occasions. I am still waiting on my contacts that were going to be priority ordered to arrive in a few days and it has been a lot longer than expected with no response as to when I should receive them. I had an option of where to go through my insurance and although I liked the optometrist...I would never come back again!!!! This has been a ridiculous first experience. I regret selecting this office and will never recommend this place and will discourage all friends and family from Visionworks going forward. read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I wanted to go in to get help with BOTH my pairs of glasses that I had previously bought from this location. I understand that they were only seeing customers by appointment only, however I tried calling 3 or 4 times with no answer to schedule an appointment. I decided to try and see if they'd even be able to help with the glasses by going in. Upon arrival there was only 1 customer in the store and at least 4 employees. I spoke to one of the employees, Joyce, about fixing my damaged pair and she said she couldn't do anything to help me even before I had taken out the pair. I then asked if she could at least adjust my other pair that just needed some tightening to which she reluctantly replied for me to wait in the middle of the store and she'd see if another employee could help me. I began to walk to the middle of the store and a male employee began loudly telling me I wasn't able to go back there, that he needed me to wait up front. I stated that Joyce had literally just told me to go wait in the middle of the store and the man continued motioning for me to go to the front of the store, ignoring what I was telling him. I left the store and said I would just make do. I then called the Arrowhead location who replied they would be glad to help me. I will never come to this Visionworks again. Employees seem to reluctantly offer help for their customers, yet all too eager to take their money when they're trying to sell them glasses. Glasses that fell apart after a mere two months. I should have known not to schedule an appointment at this location. First they won't accept the same insurance as the other Visionworks locations. Then when I accidentally went to another location they would not fit me in. I called the location I had went to in error, which was very busy and they completely understood. They allowed me to be seen with no hassle and took the time to verify my insurance. I will never schedule at this location again. Apparently they don't understand that life happens. I have been going to Visionworks for years. Always had my exam and glasses correctly done. I went to go pick up my glasses. One the glasses was not mine. It was some kids glasses. I had to wait another week for them redone with right frames. When I finally got both.. I didn't notice much change like I couldn't see better. Five later I noticed my was sensitive to light and seeing starburst at night. And still after a month not seeing clear. I went 2 times to find they could help me. But there not good to getting back to me. To get my issue fixed. There demeanor up front. It seem they don't care or didn't set a appointment right away. read more

Do not waste your time or money: I had to go back three times after suggesting the wrong contacts two times and practically had to beg for a prescription for my eye allergies. Hands down the worst place. read more

I met with a VW rep @ my companies open enrollment. The person there was very nice. During our conversation I told her where I worked, which happened to be right by her specific location. She had said how easy it was to get an appointment. So 2 weeks later I stop in on a Friday afternoon to simply see about making an appointment or to find out how there "walk in" service works. While I'm standing there waiting to be helped at the appointment desk the lady in front of me learned she didn't have coverage and did not end up staying for her appointment. Next it was my turn. When I asked about getting an appointment I was simply told what hours the Dr was there. I asked how long an appointment takes and she could not answer me. Her entire demeanor was as if she did not want me to make an appointment. She made it very difficult. So I asked about "walk ins" (knowing there should be an avail appointment right?) She says there are no 'walk ins" I felt the entire conversation was like pulling teeth to get info. The lady made it seem very difficult to get an appointment and as though she didn't want me to book a time. At no time did she even offer me an appointment? I was only told what they couldn't do. She obviously did not want to be bothered by me so I finally left. I will go somewhere else and I suggest you save your self the frustration and do the same.. read more
